After a weeklong, stay with two young kids, I wanted to give a honest feedback. There are two reasons I say, not kid friendly 1, the bathroom walls are plexiglass, even though you can't see through clearly you can still see a outline of the body. My daughter did not want her brother or me looking into the bathroom. This required me to put her in a private room something I do not like doing while traveling in foreign countries. 2. Even though they advertise a smart TV. You're limited to channels only, the smart features do not work. . The few English channels cater towards the adults after 9 PM. There was no appropriate channels for young children. The second issue I had, even though the description of the rooms include the size. Not all rooms were the same size and when you added the bathroom, desk and bed into the room, you have a limited space to walk around your bed. we had no storage under the bed And one spot in the desk. The desk is also your closet if you are traveling with two bags expect to keep one bag in the walkway. Some other disappointments we encounter. The hot tub is designed for two people. The bar is closed. Breakfast is offered only. Hotel staff were very friendly. Location is OK. Police department across the street. Recommend walking in pairs when leaving the hotel we didn't have any issues, but there is some drug usage in the area. We were charged €150 per night per room. A fair value would be €60-€75 per night.

The gym, the room, the facility were all great reasons for our five star rating - but most of all we were very please with the hospitality and recommendations from Irene at the front desk- she goes above and beyond, we feel this deserves to be recognized :)

Cool property with a hard rock vintage style. Modern yet retro. Extremely comfortable beds. Never slept better. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Great amenities. Roof top with amazing views of Athens and a jacuzzi to boot. Definitely recommend. Walking distance to restaurants and of course the Acropolis.

Great spot to stay in Athens! Felt very safe the entire time, lots of great options to eat nearby. AC didnt work in the room but that wasn't a big deal. Rooftop patio is excellent but it is all BYOB and no bar on site. Hot tub was nice and clean up there and open 24/7

My reservation was transferred to this hotel 1 day before my arrival in Athens, due to my original hotel cancelling and this one having availability. When reading the reviews online, I did panic however the hotel surprised me in some ways. The hotel is a ‘modern industrial’ style. I would probably never book somewhere like this to stay but I really loved how different it was to anywhere else that I’ve stayed. The staff were all really lovely, they gave us some good recommendations for thins to do and a map of the city. They also held our bags for us on our day of check out. Breakfast is good, there’s no hot food but what was on offer was good. There’s a pool table which was great to use on an evening, and a roof terrace with a jacuzzi. The main negative is the location. There are lots of homeless people and people on drugs around the hotel area which made it feel unsafe getting to and from the hotel. Though we felt perfectly fine when in the hotel. We ended up getting taxis when I was dark because it felt that unsafe. If this hotel could be picked up and put in another location, I’d give us 4 stars.

Frokostbuffet var OK. Vi fikk frokost inkludert pga at barene i hotellet var stengte, og det var en hyggelig gest. Rengjøring virket enkel vil jeg si - det var ikke særlig godt ryddet etter at housekeeping hadde vært på rommet vårt i løpet av vårt opphold. Rommet var helt OK, litt trangt men greit bad. Sengen var god og komfortabel. Jeg hadde dessverre forventet meg mer av et hotell som er i Brown Hotels kjeden, så jeg ble litt skuffet denne gangen. Men alt i alt et OK hotell, som ligger 5 min fra nærmeste t-banestasjon. Kanskje ikke det koseligste strøket å bo i når man er i Aten, men kun 2 t-banestopp fra mer sentrale strøk og restaurantområder.

It’s difficult to get a good night’s sleep when there is so much noise from outside and the hotel walls are so thin. Added to this is the black out curtains are not wide enough to blackout the light. The breakfast is okay without being special. The rooftop patio is very nice and the views are great. The best part of the hotel.

The hotel is well located near Omonia square. It is surrounded by buss lines and within a five minutes walk from a subway station. There are eateries open 24/7 and while being located across from a police station means there's no parking at all, it also means you're completely safe and secured without any shady monkey business going on. The staff is kind, knowledgable and attentive. The hot tub on the roof is grand and the view of the acropolice nice. The gym is basic, but it is there. If you are a gym type of person, consider bringing resistance bands to supplement your options.

We enjoyed our stay at Dave Red Athens. We arrived very late due to a delay in our flight, but we had a smooth check in. The room was a little on the small side, but this was fine as we knew that we'd be out & about most of the day. The shower//toilet was only separated by a glass panel which meant that most of the bathroom got wet but again not too huge an issue. Room was clean and quiet. The area was a little perhaps dodgy, I wouldn't have felt comfortable as a solo traveller walking back late at night, but I felt safe with my husband. Very convenient for the tube.

Room was quite small and sound traveled from adjoining rooms and other parts of the hotel. My first night there was only one bath towel - no floor mat or hand towels. This changed my second night. Breakfast was decent, and staff were knowledgeable about arranging taxi, etc. Overall location good, but was noisy and small .

Nice staff, rooms were quite noisy and breakfast was average, nothing which really stood out. No housekeeping for 4 nights was a shame.

Place is clean and the reception on my departure date on 14 Sep, is very very friendly

the rooms r maybe decorated modern but no glass for toothbrush and paste in the bathroom the breakfast is very poor cleaning is not suitable and is not in the mornng they claim till 1600 so if we want to come and rest in the afternoon room is not clean only one lift for 4 stars hotel 9 floors towels are old total review very bad for such a hotel and no wonder brown corp os loosing money we shall never use this hotel and not recommend on it a big shame for a 4 stars hotel we go to athens for 18 years now 3-4 times a year first time we got such a poor hotel

Good location to visit main sites, about 20 mins walk max. Area directly around the hotel a bit run down but good eateries and a shopping centre close by. Room was functional, nice to have a terrace. Big shower and good sized bathroom. Towels weren’t always clean. Big bed.

Room design is very impractical. Bed size overwhelms room and is impossible for two people. Bathroom is small and again impractical. We were in another which would work for two people, but the Foxy Deluxe room is dank, disgusting and dingy! One person could tolerate the room. There were many decorative pillows that in photos looks exotic, but in reality they camouflage the flaws of the room and over crowd a tiny room filled with too much!

The rooms are super small and the street outside is very up and coming. At night the street below was very noisy. The bathroom did not have any windows so not great for any ventilation. The pillows were very large or quickly deflating to flat. The staff was extremely amazing and gave wonderful recommendations-- this was the highlight of this hotel.

The Foxy room is a storage room with a big tv. Dark, and the small window offers a 'view' to an internal yard, very small and full of pipes. A lot of noise from the pipes. Felt like sleeping with 10 refrigerators in the room. Also, the room description is a lie: there was no coffee machine and no bath robe in the room. Staff always smiling but very unhelpful. The manager was never there and, of course, was the only person who could make a decision. Requested a paid change/ upgrade 6 times and the answer was the same: hotel is full. 30 minutes from when i was told there is nothing they can do, after having made a complaint to expedia, they found a room (18 hours before my checkout) Nobody should end up in such places for 150 euro per night.

This hotel was very quirky and inviting. The staff were lovely. There are thoughtful touches like freah fruit water in the lobby, and a hammock on the bar's balcony, and a reckrd player in the room. I look forward to coming back

Due to the reviews we were a bit skeptical about the location. Turns out we didn’t see anything too alarming, not the best neighbourhood to hang out but it was okay. The hotel itself was actually very nice, staff were nice and helpful, we managed to use the hot tub even in winter. My favourite part was definitely the bed! What an amazing mattress.

Très bon établissement à 2 pas de la place Omonia et des métros (centre ville / Pirée et Aéroport) 15 mn à pied de la place Monastiraki et 20 mn à pied de l'Acropole. Très beau rooftop avec jacuzzi très propre.

The hotel is the cheapest I found in Europe. The bed is amazing. Also, they pur reaconditionator, which is importa for long hairs. Everything was perfect. The area where is located is not the best, but the police station is just crossing the street, and the metro us only one block away. Forbthe price, it worth it!

Very nice staff. Cute room decor. I didn’t like the unsafe location. If you’re a woman traveling alone, beware.

We kregen een zalige kamer, met meer ruimte dan vorige keer dat we er bleven. Het bed was ook zalig en groot, met veel kussens. Het dakterras met jacuzzi en met mooi uitzicht over de stad blijft een enorme plus! De ligging vlak bij de metro is superhandig. We zouden geen ander hotel meer nemen als we terugkomen naar Athene.

Tolles Designer-Hotel mit coolem Industrie-Charme und individueller Zimmerausstattung. Besonders der Plattenspieler im Zimmer mit einer kleinen LP-Auswahl aus Schlagern und Rock aus einer längst vergangenen Zeit sowie das Wählscheiben-Telefon aus den 60ern sind tolle Relikte. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend - beim einchecken gab es eine Tüte frisches Popcorn! Die Lage war für uns ganz ok, die Metro-Station Omonia nur 3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Hervorzuheben ist das klasse Frühstück: UNBEDINGT MIT BUCHEN! Das Frühstück wird zwar im 3 Fußminuten entfernt liegenden Partner-Hotel Brown Acropol serviert was zunächst etwas seltsam erscheint. Doch für diesen kleinen Fußmarsch entschädigt die tolle Sonnenterasse im großen Schwesterhotel sowie ein erstklassiges Frühstückbüffet mit Prosecco, frischen Eierspeisen und zahlreichen hochwertigen griechischen Delikatessen. Wir waren total begeistert und wurden in unserer Erwartung mehr als übertroffen. Der sehr freundliche und persönliche Service rundetet das Erlebnis ab! Perfekt!

Upon checking in i was told i was upgraded to a larger room, however once inside the room i did think it was very small with no space to walk around the side of the bed. The staff at this hotel were all absolutely lovely and very helpful. I would like to mention that the breakfast served at this hotel was way below my expectations, the donuts were hard, the salad options were minimal and there was little to no variety in options for anything else.. i did expect some warm food options such as bacon / eggs / sausage or even some pastries, however there was none of these unfortunately. The location of the hotel itself is bang in the middle of a homeless area with many of them surrounding the hotel which doesn't feel too safe, especially when walking back to the hotel at night! Aside from that, the stay was fine however I doubt i would consider staying at this hotel again.

Das Frühstück war sehr eintönig, es hat nur eine sehr kleine Auswahl gegeben. Nur Toastbrot, keine Aufstriche o.ä. Der Whirlpool ist 24/7 geöffnet und das Personal sehr freundlich.
