Travelodge by Wyndham Fargo

The breakfast was unkept, unstocked (no coffee cups), no one at the front desk or attending the breakfast area. Milk jug was empty. Hardly any selection also almost empty. The bathroom door in the room was off its hinge, the hot tob had a four inch scum ring around it with dead skin floating the surface. The pool was dirty, you could see the dirt on the pool floor. No towels in the pool area. Outside the property had huge overgrown weeds.

Property and room were clean, updated, and comfortable. There was a pretty good breakfast selection. I appreciated the ample, well-lit parking lot.

It is what it is and you get you pay for. The breakfast was two types of cereal or a waffle, nothing really of any substance; the pool and hot tub were over chlorinated; no elevator; and the staff wasn’t very friendly - they seemed put out if you needed to speak with them or needed something.

Very underkept. Outside of the hotel looks disregarded. The “troughs “ are all over the place . Exposed wiring and looks old and ran down . Hotel room stank like old musty carpet Thin ceilings and walls Pool was dirty Hot tub was dirty Their orange juice is also gross. Nice employees, poorly maintained

I really enjoyed my stay here, the staff are very friendly, it’s easy to check in, and the rooms are very clean. More importantly, they are pet friendly.

Swimming pool and hot tub are a nice option to have. Comfortable stay.

This was under some construction and updates. The hotel was nice place to stay with family. No breakfast at this time. Staff friendly.

My room was very nice, the hot tub and pool were working, the jets ar strong in the hot tub, Love this hotel and the price was decent!

As soon as you walk into the hotel it smells very strong like cleaner, giving a good impression that the place is clean. The room was disgusting- it HAS COCKROACHES!!!! The bathroom was not cleaned properly, hair clumps on the shower wall. The beds were very uncomfortable we woke up with sore backs, the mattresses have metal under them instead of a box spring that sounded like thunder when you moved. The pool was cold and had a dirty used bandaid floating in it. We will never stay at this property again.

Upon arrival in my room, I found several unclean spots, including stains, dirt, and grime, a previous tenant's tissue on the door, etc. I have photo and video proof, and I am very unhappy with this. I am honestly terrified of my stay here now because it feels very unclean, like the workers didn't bother to do anything other than make the bed. No high-touch surfaces were cleaned. There are very visible spots everywhere that are dirty. I am disgusted with the state of our room. Travel lodge refused to do anything about refunding or even acknowledging the issues of our room. I will never stay here again. A business should be ashamed of themselves to allow such atrocious lack of cleaning happen, as well as to have such lazy and incompetent employees. This business should be shut down.

The room smelled as urine

The blow drier didn’t work, the floors were not vacuumed in the hotel. We had a fridge that froze the food and drinks, when we turned it down the ice build up would leak on the carpet. I was there for 5 nights they never came in to clean, vacuum or change garbage. I had to call to get new clean towels.

This property was beyond disgusting. The room smelled so musty when we just opened the door of the room. Upon further investigation, the ceiling in the bathroom was covered in mold. They tried to justify the mold by saying there was water on the ceiling. We changed rooms. If one room has mold the building has mold. I spent my entire time there sick. This is not fit for humans. This hotel should be shut down by the health department. I would like my money back. That would be simpler for you than my alternatives. We never used the pool or hot tub. Based on the condition of the room, the pool and hot tub are in an enclosed area that is humid which is the perfect environment for mold. Not even sure if the chemicals are properly maintained.

The lobby was clean, but the room we stayed in was not. There were small dried blood stains on the sheets, mystery stains on all of the furniture, surfaces, and shower curtain. The bed was loud due to the metal platform frame and the mattress was not very comfortable. The pool area could use some cleaning as well.

Bed spreads were very stained and towels were either dirty or stained. Check in at reception was very friendly however

Well, for $250 a night you expect there to be toilet paper in the bathroom and washcloths that aren’t stained with what looks like feces. The beds are well worn, and that’s the highlight…. Not worth the money, and won’t return.

Front desk person was kind. Entry way right away was smelly. The first room we had reeked of old cigarettes. The employee kindly gave us a different room. However this one smelled badly of mildew and urine. The sheets and blankets and walls had stains on them. There was a broken lamp shade and only some of the outlets worked. It looked like attempts were made to update but still needs a ton of work. The bathroom fan didn’t turn on and the heating lamp looked like it would burn the place down had I turned it on. Didn’t try the pool or hot tub, lots of thumps, bumps and knocking in the night.

Dirty bedding and towels

We came to go swimming and loved the hot tub because it was really hot, the room was clean and updated, but wanted it a little warmer so let the heater run all night although it never got warm, I think it was broken. Nice stay all together

Rooms are clean but bathroom shower curtain rod is held up by painters tape. The shelf in the bathroom was ripped off of the wall, holes still in the wall. No shower gel, only bat soap, no hair conditioner. Normally we would bring it but forgot. TV should be replaced. Half of it was dark. Would be nice if those things were available. Not a ton of parking either. Overall this is an ok place to stay. We didn’t expect a lot, so our expectations weren’t set high.

Beds were very uncomfortable

The room size was nice. Bed comfortable. The problem was there was something that kept cycling on in the building that creating a very loud vibrating noise. In different areas of the room the sound changed but on the one side of the bed it was so loud it contiguously woke me throughout the night. Initially we thought maybe it was a jetted tub but when we asked the front desk they confirmed no jetted tubs were in the rooms. But when the sound continued to cycle on and off we knew it was obviously something else. Have no idea what the problem was. We checked out the next morning. Would not stay in that room again. I think the room was 223 (was next to the stairs king size bed suite). We were so tired by the time we left the room the following day.

Let me start with this is a cheap hotel for a reason. If you want to pay less than $100 a night, don't expect the Ritz. Cons: the beds were pretty bad and definitely in need of new mattresses. The TV is surprisingly small. The bathroom is very small. Things like fixtures, rugs, etc are dated. Staff are a bit hard to find. Pros: It felt like a safe area. The room is spacious. The bathroom does appear to have been upgraded. It was very quiet. Pool and hot tub were nice. The breakfast was basic but still nice (classic bagels, toast, muffins, cereal, yogurt, and a waffle maker). For one night it definitely worked for us. I don't think I would stay for more than a weekend though.

You never make it to the restroom if you’re a big person cause you gotta walk past the toilet to shut the door. You actually have to use force to shut and open the bathroom door and it seems like there’s loud banging from the bed frames for being on a tin pedestal.

Bathrooms are small.

It smelled like old stale smoke. The heater/air conditioner smelled horrible when turned on. Slept without heat all night (didn’t sleep all night) Would never stay there again.

Small tv, booked king suite and have a dog, dogs not allowed in kings, they switched us to two queens, bed is very noisy and spring sounds, bathtub drain plug damaged

Terrible bed on some kind of metal strap frame every time you move makes terrible noises. And walls are paper thin

Staff was very helpful

Very dirty and unsanitary. We were moved twice and both rooms were dirty with hair and pubic hair in bathtub and something in the toilet. We ended up leaving and staff lied to us about their cancellation. I worked at a hotel I know they can check us out just not give us our refund so technically we're still there and they kept saying they can't because I booked through a third party.

I was given the wrong room key and walked in on someone. Then a new room was given and bathroom was dirty-used towels thrown around bathroom, dirty toilet and garbage behind garbage can. It was all disgusting. Management/help was very nice and apologetic. Promised to assist us and compensate but have not heard a word.

I was quite disappointed with how we were treated at the time of check-in. I was told in a firm manner to hand over my ID and credit card with no explanation as to if my credit card is going to be charged again, holding fees or damage deposit taken off. My passport was shoved back to me, and slammed my room key down on the desk. We were not told what room we were staying in, all we were explained is there was a continental breakfast and the pool was open until 11 PM. When we got into our room, we had no lights turned on for us, and had to walk in the dark to try and find a light switch, room was not very clean and our smoke detector was disabled sitting behind our TV with exposed wiring in the ceiling. When we came back from shopping, the main doors to the hotel were locked and we had not been made aware that we needed our room key to re enter the hotel. The front desk attendant stood there watching us with a scowl in her face and rolling her eyes as we read directions on how to enter and finding our room key. In our room, there is dust everywhere, hair left in the bathtub, our remote was covered with a white substance (hope it was yogurt, may have been semen). I’ve stayed at this hotel in the past and we were treated well the first time with friendly staff and clean surroundings, but this entire encounter was quite disappointing and made us not want to book this hotel again for our future stays

At check-in some crack-head came down to the counter swearing and yelling at the lady at the desk about her sister getting kicked out of her room from noise complaints. Witnessed a drug deal in the parking lot. Shady looking people hanging out in the parking lot every time we went outside. Cops visited the motel three times while we were there. Staff are actually very nice. We could hear two ladies arguing and swearing at each other on and off the whole time we were there. Wife and kids wouldn’t leave the room without me. Breakfast was very limited. Don’t recommend this place for a family or couple to stay.

When we arrived, the gentleman begind the counter was struggeling alot to get people checked in. In the 45 mins it took frome the time we walked in the door until we left the counter to go to our room 2 other guests came back to trade rooms as the person checked them into rooms that already had other people in the room. When we finally got to our room it was clean however thw fridge was very iced up when i went to put stiff in it. We then got ready to go relax in the hot tub, when we stepped in it was lukewarm at best, because this was one of the main things we wanted during our staywe asked for a refund to go somewhere else. They did agree to refund our room but said it would take 2 to 3 days before the money was refunded back to my account. We are still waiting for the refund.

The team was just amazing.Shiva the front desk clerk helped me solve a problem that would have caused me money .She was really kind, understanding.I really appreciate her and the team.Overall we had a great stay at that property and will gladly come back whenever we visit Fargo.

The location was convenient and it had the amenities that I needed. It's close to the airport and had enough decent restaurants.

Average stay. Served a purpose for a 1 night stay close to the interstate.

The room was average the bathrooms were small. But it was close distance to the mall and other shopping venues.

Just arriving on the property, it looked like a dreary motel. There wasn’t even a Travelodge sign on the building. The lobby and halls smelled like marijuana. The staff were very nice and when i brought it to their attention, they said it was just from the smoke drifting in from the outside smoking area. I’m sorry… But that may be true for the front lobby area, but it was clearly all over the hotel. Even my young children knew that it smelled like “skunk”. Probably not the healthiest environment. Second negative was the shady characters wandering around intoxicated around the building. I don’t think they were guests, but i didn’t feel safe leaving anything in my car, that’s for sure! Having said that, the hot tub was hot! The pool was cool! And for one night, it was adequate. Also, extremely important, the beds room was clean. I do feel like this is not a hotel that should ever charge more than $80 per night. Way over-priced. We won’t stay there again, but appreciated the friendly staff, a clean bed and the hot tub.

We arrive after 11 and needed to be let into the property. There was no sense of urgency and there will young children running around the lobby unattended. Once checked in we were handed keys to a 225 room and told it was on the first floor around the corner. I questioned the 'first floor' and he said, yes around the corner. That was not the case. The room was warm upon arrival but clean and orderly. Fairly spacious which was a pleasant surprise. The bathroom was really small and the door nearly hit the toilet making it hard to open and close. Breakfast area needed attention. Juices were watered down, tables were dirty, and food was running low at 8am in the morning. Noone seemed to be managing it. The value was good.

Everything was a OK 👍. Except the breakfast no eggs cooked neither boiled no sausage no bacon no potatoes nada . Just corn flakes , waffle,bread ,bagel,yogurt n juices it's all good it is what it is..

They water down everything they can on the breakfast bar to pinch pennies. Like, they literally water down the waffle batter!! Sheets were stained with what looked like blood. Not the best experience. They let us check in a bit early (a half hour) so that was a plus, but overall I wouldn't reccomend this hotel to anyone who is looking to take full advantage of the amendities. It's fine for a cheap stay.

Easy to find, good restaurants close! Coffee was terrible! Breakfest was very poor hot tud needed repair, our shower rod was semi-broken off wall, bathroom door wouldnt shut, and again coffee was terrible!!!!

The room was clean and check in was very quick. Breakfast had a nice assortment of item to choose from. The food was replenished as items were getting low instead of gone. Staff was polite and professional. I would stay at the location next time I’m in Fargo.

A/C worked good. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Continental brekky was a 4 out of 10.

It was a decent hotel for a reasonable price. No frills but adequate. VERY basic breakfast. The bowed shower curtain is a nice touch, however it limits the door from opening completely.
