Totally awesome staff and very friendly. Very clean. Totally warmest pool. I’ve been in for a long time. It was awesome. Big hot tub. Worked great. Not your small run of the mill. Great cleaned comfortable rooms. We forgot some things and they called us right away, and when we got there, they came out and brought it right to us, that was awesome. Good breakfast great coffee yes I have to have my coffee even though the wife don’t like it just keep up the great work we will definitely be back to visit family and this is where we will stay. Thank you for all you’ve done.

Worst AmericInn we’ve ever stayed in. Nothing was properly maintained. Hot tub jets didn’t work. In our room we had: a lightbulb out, a defaced bible, a bathroom sink that wouldn’t drain, a tub that got 5” of water in it when you used the shower and then took over an hour to drain, a toilet that ran constantly and a bed that had one corner all jacked up from a broken base and was so uncomfortable that we barely slept.

I forget the man's name but the older gentleman working the front desk is amazing he was very welcoming and I was just happy to be here. The pool is warm which is amazing because any other place you go they say the pool is heated and it's freezing cold this pool is warm me and my son had a great time and we will definitely make this our little mini getaway.

Well the phone in the room does not work. The hot tub in my room does not work. . The shades in our room does not open and my wife is claustrophobic. The tv in the hot tub room does not work. The pool needs to be clean around the top. The spa is not hot and the jets work on over power.

The entire place was very clean and well maintained. Our room was great! We would have preferred a different t.v. set up but overall that was our only complaint. The area surrounding the hotel has a lot of offer for food choices and the Hy-vee next door offers a wide variety. The breakfast in the morning was good and offered quite a few choices. We will definitely be coming back here again.

My room was dirty. I asked for another room, they claimed no other rooms were available. Housekeeping came in the next day a cleaned the bathroom but did not clean the dust of lamp.shade or headboard. They will have maintenance removed the caulk in the bathroom to remove the moldy areas. I would like some kind of refund for this room.

First of all, believe the recent reviews. I read them and didn’t heed the warning. This facility is under some much needed renovations and is really dirty. We had an updated room but it still needs a lot more work. Our issues were the shower curtain which had black mold in several places, no sink stopper or shower stopper for the tub, the room needs dusted and thoroughly cleaned from the construction mess, the refrigerator, furniture, and microwave all need a good cleaning. I will say that the bed and pillows were adequate for this type of hotel. We will most likely not ever stay here again due to the lack of cleanliness. The breakfast is ok if you’re in to non nutritious breakfasts of carbs!

The staff was very accommodating. Which I appreciate. The pool was sparkling clean. The grounds are filthy. The interior is filthy. My bed spread had a giant blood stain on it, the carpets need shampooing. There were nail clippings on the floor, dried poop in the toilet, and mold in the shower…will not return.

We entered the hotel and staff was very friendly...we entered our room and it reeked of must and mold...the room was dank and the couch was wet. I mentioned it to the front desk and he happily found us a different room. The 2nd room was much better smell wise ...lots of hair stuck in the blankets and sheets ...dust everywhere ...bath tub/shower was very unappealing. Moldy edges rusty unclean spots.

Honestly it was a great stay. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because some of the lights were burnt out and the fridges didnt get very cold. Other than that very much enjoyed my experience here. %100 would stay again.

Our main gripes about this hotel: the air conditioner was very loud, the pillows were uncomfortable, and we had some insect visitors in our room. The breakfast was fine, had several good options but nothing outstanding. I think better value can easily be found elsewhere.

All went well. It felt safe there. The room was clean although the bathtub was a bit dated. Coffeemaker worked fine. Beds were comfortable. I especially appreciated that two pillows were bigger and two were flatter which give us options as to preference. Breakfast was adequate.

The front desk individual was very helpful; I inadvertently booked our room for the wrong night and he quickly changed the date to accommodate us without penalty. Service like this is why we stop here every time we’re on a road trip. It’s convenient, comfortable, and fantastic staff.

I made my online reservation at 2 PM. I arrived a little after three. They told me because they were so busy the night before they had no rooms available yet. It would be 30 minutes. Three groups of people came in after me they were all told the same thing it varying times. I did not get my room until 4:30 PM. I tried to cancel, but I can only go through Expedia and they would not allow me to cancel. I will not use Expedia ever again.

At check-in, the desk clerk was not inviting or nice. Walking to our room, there was trash in the hallways that was still there in the morning. In the room, there weren’t two full sets of towels, and there was missing trim around the window, showing the window frame and wood.

I have been staying here for the last 3 years. I won’t be back! Bill that usually works Friday and Saturday nights always made me feel welcome. I am a very laid back guest. I don’t leave a messy room, not noisy, and very le maintenance. I felt un welcomed the minute the woman started checking me in. Too many other places to chose from to be disrespected even once!

The room I stayed in was very quiet though I did stay on a weekend when it wasn't extremely busy. I was disappointed on the cleanliness of the room as there was dirt around the edges and all fixtures were dusty. I also noticed huge dust webs above the window so obviously who ever is cleaning is not doing a very good job. I gave 4 stars because of convenience but if i would have had the option of giving 3.5 I would have. I was also sent a text welcoming me and if i needed anything i was to message them back which i did about an hour later as I had ordered takeout food and wasn't given any silverware. I recieved no reply so I went down to the desk to ask for some and waited for 10 minutes for the staff person to return and I finally gave up because they didnt return and had to throw half my meal away because of it. It wouldn't hurt to leave some silverware out for guests as im sure im not the first person this has happened to.

We have stayed at this property prior and still continue to love it. They have redecorated in the most beautiful blue grays laid carpeting in the in the rooms. The walls are too into tone. My compliments to the decorator. Breakfast was lovely. They even have a girl in the breakfast room helping she had the darling as apron on and was so sweet. Robert was at the front desk when we arrived and when we left the next day. He helped us with our luggage and always had a smile on his face. I highly recommend This hotel. Oh great indoor pool absolutely spotless than even has a little alcove with a two piece sectional couch for private visiting.

We have stayed at this property prior and still continue to love it. They have redecorated in the most beautiful blue grays laid carpeting in the in the rooms. The walls are too into tone. My compliments to the decorator. Breakfast was lovely. They even have a girl in the breakfast room helping she had the darling as apron on and was so sweet. It was a decent stay but felt the price was high considering we stayed at a 2 bedroom hotel in a major city the night before for the same price as this one room 2 bed room. The floors didn’t seem very clean. But everything else was fine. The pool looked clean although we didn’t use it. If you stay on the side near the highway there is some noise.

We appreciated the kind reception of our dog. The property is a bit outdated, but clean and comfortable. The front desk was very warm and welcoming and allowed us to check out a bit later. It's a well-priced property located very close to the regional airport; we will be back in the near future. Thank you!

Was close to the freeway so easy to get to. The staff checking iud on wasn't overly friendly but the staff checking is out was very nice. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the room was clean. Not much to offer for breakfast but there's a McDonald's next door.

All went well. It felt safe there. The room was clean although the bathtub was a bit dated. Coffeemaker worked fine. Beds were comfortable. I especially appreciated that two pillows were bigger and two were flatter which give us options as to preference. Breakfast was adequate.

We always stay here when traveling through Albert Lea. Clean, quiet, comfortable. I was disappointed in the breakfast though this trip - they’ve really scaled back on what was offered.

This Amercinn is MUCh improved from a decade ago. Fresh paint, fresh carpeting, fresh decorations. However, the breakfast is pitiful with limited choices despite the cheerful attendent. This property needs to step up its gane again.

Great staff, just needs a little TLC (and elevator info) We had a pleasant stay overall. The staff were very helpful, nice, and accommodating — they made us feel welcome and were quick to assist with anything we needed. We would definitely stay again. The hotel was clean and very acceptable. The lack of an elevator was the one thing that was not available, so when you are elderly (like us) that does make a difference. Other than that, everything was clean, the staff was pleasant, the breakfast was good.

We had no room service for 3 days. Breakfast was super basic, will choose a different hotel next time. Poor shower pressure, lumpy beds, and no elevator (which wasn't a surprise).

No elevator makes it difficult to haul your luggage up the stairs. While the hotel inside looked and smelled nice our room had stains on the carpets and the bathroom was not clean (to the point we did not shower)
