Nice gaff and everything you need within it

Booked this as it was one of those random nights where for some reason all my usual hotels were 2-3 times the price they generally are. Maybe there was some sort of event? It was a bit out of the way from where I needed to be (either central London or Canary Wharf) but fine, I knew the location when I booked. Spacious apartment and reasonably equipped - standard bed etc. No curtains/blinds in main living area. Front door lock was a bit dodgy (Yale lock didn't catch so had to use the deadlock when leaving each time, which would have done anyway, but aware that the door would have been effectively just open when I was inside if I hadn't noticed. Some things a bit worn out or damaged - no plug in bathroom sink, plug in other bathroom sink didn't work, shower controls didn't really work properly, some mould in the shower. Two main issues were 1) no hot water - couldn't have a shower. By the time I realised it was too late to do anything about it and had to just leave, and 2) communication through one of those stupid online portals which required far too much information to access WiFi code, check in/lockbox instructions etc etc - hate this, please just email me what I need!

very nice flat. deposit and ID confirmation makes check in slightly tricky.

Was handy to public transport and had most facilities we needed. Unfortunately it was let down by lack of attention to detail, such as missing kitchen equipment and washing machines. The towels etc were well due for replacement.

Annonce trompeuse. Appartement “deluxe”, alors qu’il est situé en rez-de-chaussée avec une vue soit sur des poubelles (sac poubelles, littéralement déchèterie) juste sous la fenêtre, soit sur un immeuble (balcons qui voient tous) soit sur une rue passante jour et nuit. Impossible de laisser les rideaux ouverts : nous avons passé le séjour dans le noir. Les photos ne reflètent absolument pas la réalité et induisent clairement en erreur. L’accès au logement est compliqué, surtout pas pour les débutants. Le formulaire, la caution, passeports, photos Aucune aide du propriétaire, qui se contente de dire que la vue n’est pas garantie, c'est écrit nul part que vous serez pas au rez de chaussée. Je tiens a preciser que les poubelles sont dans une petite cours sous la fenêtre et que les propriétaires peuvent les évacuer mais visiblement ils s'en foutent. C’est inacceptable vu la différence entre l’annonce et la réalité. Très mauvais rapport qualité/prix. Je ne recommande pas. Sinon bus ligne 15 sous l'appartement. Le seul point positif.
