Location was great (1 stop from old town) Free breakfast was delicious and great service. Hotel is clean BUT room was very small and no elevator. If you don’t mind using the stairs and a small room this hotel is a GREAT deal due to location, price & service & free extensive breakfast. The quality of the food exceeded our expectation.

Superb location, hotel entrance is just less than 3 min walk from the Slussen metro station. Slussen station is 1 station away from T-central station, it is a very convenience location. Bed is comfortable, friendly staffs and fantastic breakfast buffet. The hotel is a heritage building, so be mindful that there is no lift. If you check in early, the staff will help to send the luggage to your room. Walkable to SOFO area, which has many hip and creative shops and restaurants.

This is a heritage listed building with tasteful renovation. It is in a superb location with plenty of food choices. The breakfast buffet is also great with exemplary selections. But, two things let us down. One: no lift. Not that we had to carry lots of luggages ourselves, but every morning I was awaken with the loud sound as people dragging their luggages downstairs. Two, the rooms are so small without any room to lay down the luggages. There was no shelves in the room or bathroom to put anything. Traveling as a family of four was difficult. Might be a better option for couple or solo traveler.

A hidden gem of a hotel which I will definitely return to next time I visit Stockholm. All staff were extremely helpful and able to communicate in English which was great as my Swedish is non-existent! The buffet breakfast was excellent and there’s a cosy bar we tried one evening. We didn’t dine in the restaurant as the menu wasn’t to our taste. So much more interesting to stay in a hotel like this than a larger chain hotel. I’d definitely recommend.

Beautiful unique property just a few steps from the subway station. Cozy bar and restaurant for breakfast. There are no elevators so all luggage must be carried to rooms on upper floors. Lovely intimate patio with seating in front and in courtyard (but unusable in winter due to snow). Comfortable beds, nice linens and good sized baths. Very friendly staff.

A decent place to lay your head for the night. The rooms were on the small side but the air conditioning worked well and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast that was included was great! There is no elevator so we had to carry our bags from the 4th floor, and there is no direct entry to the hotel where a car can drop you off so we did have to roll our bags down the cobblestone a bit. We arrived very early off of our flight and were hoping to have a bathroom to freshen up in at least since the room wasn’t going to be ready for quite awhile. The public restrooms were tiny and there wasn’t a lot of public space to reorganize our belongings/hang out in. Obviously not a huge deal but just in case others are hoping to do the same it may help you be better prepared than we were!

Amazing stay! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and the hotel was very clean and safe. We booked a family room with a king bed and bunks beds. This was the perfect size room for our family of four. The breakfast was delicious and served until 11am which was a plus since we were jet lagged coming from the US. It is walking distance to many of the key sights and very close to the Slussen metro stop (30 seconds walk). We took a cab from the airport ( ~$75 USD) since I was nervous about trying navigate our way to the hotel. (However, taking the train from the airport to Stockholm Central and then changing to the metro and exiting Slussen would have been quite easy.) We would definitely stay there again.

This is a really well located, boutique hotel. My room was clean and felt newly renovated. It was in an interesting old building. The room was small without a lot of wiggle room. That was great for me as a solo-traveler staying 2 nights. Everyone working there was so incredibly nice and both the restaurant and bar were really good. I’d stay here again.

Fremragende hotel. Rent, stille og med meget velfungerende aircondition (boede der nogle meget varme sommerdage). Morgenmaden er den bedste, jeg har oplevet på et hotel. Kæmpe udvalg og alt lækkert og hjemmelavet.

We love this property! The room has beautiful modern interior design and with the high tech such the light control and door control. The bed is very comfortable. High end towers, pillows and sheets. The building interior is so appealing showing the old and new blended together. The included breakfast is wonderful with various choices. The only thing that is out of control of the hotel is the current construction outside. Once it is done, no issues. We definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and relatives. Next time we are here, we will book this hotel again.

Rummet luktade lite kloak, och det var ganska mycket oljud från avloppen ovanför. Annars är hotellet supermysigt och frukosten är en av dom bättre vi någonsin haft

Minuscule room without space for a chair. No elevator on the property. Street noise and creaking floors. I was a little worried about fire safety although there was a sprinkler in the room. Bathroom was very clean and stylish.

Fint hotel. God placering, venligt og hjælpsomt personale. Værelset var ret lille, men fint. Jeg kunne høre musikken på gaden fra mit værelse, det synes jeg ikke var optimalt. Morgenmaden var dejlig, udvalget stort.

My husband and I have stayed in the Hotel frantz three times when it was the Hotel Anno 1847. It has changed. The room was so small with a too large bathroom squeezed in. The bed was squeezed into the remaining space with 30 to 50 cm left on all sides. No place to put luggage as the excess decorative pillows took up a tiny space left under the bed for storage which the majority of under bed space had a huge safe. There was no place to sit as the bed was so high it came up to my waist and was difficult to get in. It was excessively soft with a very thick unnecessary topper on the bed. It was very cluttered and very uncomfortable. The only storage left was in the hallway. I preferred the more spacious room without the bathroom with a shower down the hall. Also the windows do not open so no fresh air. The breakfast was extensive and good. But I didn’t see any traditional Swedish items like herring or Müsli but instead mediocre bread, and many unusual, but good items. Also an extensive table with desserts, which I do not need for breakfast. I was disappointed as what the Anno 1847 has turned into. I don’t think we will return

Om ni är två personer är minsta rummen inte lämpliga . Finns inte plats för resväskor , ingen plats för att lägga ifrån sig kläder, m.m. Väldigt trånga rum !

Hotellet är väldigt fint och vackert inrett. Personalen var vänlig. Frukosten är väldigt bra! Fint läge vid Slussen. Vi bokade ett rum med våningssäng och rummet var väldigt fint men otroligt litet. Vi kunde inte vara på golvet samtidigt utan fick turas om. Det hade varit ok om vi inte hade betalat över 4000kr. Det är inte ett rimligt pris för detta rum. Vi sov bara och sedan gick det inte att vara där.

This was a brilliant hotel. We felt very well cared for, from the moment we arrived right until a few hours after check in, when we collected our bags before heading to the airport. The staff are truly exceptional and I've never felt quite so welcome in a hotel before. The breakfast offering is great and varies slightly day to day. Everything I tried was of a very high quality and seemed to have been well thought out. The offering of cream cake and non-alcoholic prosecco is so fun!

We stayed at Hotel Frantz for three nights. It was all wonderful! The room was so cozy, the bed was great and it was quiet at night even though the room turned towards the street. The Staff at Hotel Frantz are amazing and extremely accommodating. The breakfast is first class and the staff do an amazing job in meeting client needs. This was our second stay at the hotel and we were fortunate to see staff members that remembered us after 2 years. We felt very welcome.

I recently spent five nights here on a solo trip, and it was worth every penny. For a solo female traveler, this hotel wasn't just a place to sleep; it was a true safe haven. The aesthetic is a beautiful blend of antique charm with a modern flare, feeling historic and storied yet perfectly updated for a modern traveler’s needs. My room was a highlight, featuring an incredibly comfortable bed and the ability to fully control the air and heat, which made for a perfect retreat at the end of the day. The service I received was genuinely exceptional and made me feel incredibly well-supported. The staff was kind enough to grant me an early check-in, which was a lifesaver after a long journey. Throughout my stay, they were proactive and helpful, whether they were hunting down a phone charger for me or being accommodating with room service requests. They even went the extra mile on Valentine’s Day by calling around to different restaurants to secure me a last-minute reservation. That level of personal care is rare and made a huge difference in my experience. Beyond the service, the atmosphere of the hotel is delightful. The bar area is cozy and inviting, and the dining areas always feature great music that sets a wonderful mood. Breakfast offered many high-quality options, ensuring I started every morning right. Additionally, the location is unbeatable.

This hotel was absolutely perfect. The location was central and right next to a major metro stop, so you can go anywhere easily. The building and decoration was beautiful - it achieved being cozy where other hotels would just be "small"...real thought was put into everything and it shows. The service was impeccable. Every interaction I had with the staff was great. From a simple smile and head nod to the whole check in experience, everything was exceptional. The room I stayed in was small, but I knew what I was getting into. It was a great, cozy space perfect for a solo traveler. Admittedly, it would have been cramped if I hadn't been alone, but there are other room type to choose from, so just consider that. Everything was super clean and overall, I couldn't have asked for a better place to return to after a long day exploring Stockholm. Oh, and the included breakfast was an 11/10. Top tier hotel breakfast hands down. I highly recommend this hotel, especially considering the alternative options in Stockholm. It may be a bit pricier than the cheapest (and second cheapest) hotels, but I can guarantee you'll be happy you spent the extra 20-30 euros a night.

Located next to a subway station and across the street from ferry terminal. Restaurant was excellent as was the service. Room was a typical old European hotel room, very small by US standards but adequate.

Very comfortable hotel in a central location which was perfect for seeing downtown Stockholm but with subway steps away from the hotel also provided access to other parts of Stockholm and beyond. The hotel food is outstanding. Breakfast (included) offered very wide selection of choices. Dinner was very good. the only downside if you stay here and are in a room on the street side it can be quite noisy late into the night with people returning from bars and going to the subway.

We had a an amazing stay at Hotel Frantz! The location unbeatable as you’ve got easy access to all the sights in Stockholm. There’s plenty of great restaurants, cafes and shops just a short walk from the hotel. The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable! The breakfast is one of the best I’ve ever had. Staff is incredibly service minded. Can’t recommend this hotel enough! Worth noting there’s no elevator and that the rooms did not have a minibar/coffee maker.

The highlight of Hotel Frantz is….everything. Conveniently located near public transportation that can get you to and from ARN airport in 30 Minutes. Walkable to the royal palace, and other great attractions. Plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area, but the Hotels restaurant is suburb. The food is fresh and flavorful. The staff is inviting, and attentive. The hotels decor blends luxury and royalty effortlessly. There’s no place better to stay in Sweden, unless you’re staying at the Royal Palace.

Hotel Frantz is a newly renovated boutique hotel that was a delightful surprise. The staff is knowledgeable and attentive. The bar downstairs is a wonderful place to linger over a drink with friends. The breakfast buffet was another special treat. I would certainly stay there again.

Hotellet är jättefint, men det är lite dyrt med tanke på hur små rummen är. Frukosten var ok, mindre utbud , men även där var det lite trångt när man skulle hämta grejer.
