The cleaning staff were always working and wiping down everything, very hard workers. Bed was comfortable, shower was decent. The gym was non existent which was a hug disappointed, a couple old and poor cardio machines but not a single weight in the building?

Great up to date rooms. TV converters didn’t work right though. Towels actually fit around me! (No picture attached for that). I loved when we arrived the lady at the desk saw my elderly mother with me and automatically changed are room to the first floor as they do not have an elevator. I didn’t even have to ask. Great service skills!

My spouse sat on the couch in the room for quite a while and had many many bites on him on all areas of the body that would have touched the couch. I did get a few bites but did not sit on the couch for long. I believe they must have been bed bugs. We thoroughly checked out possessions for bugs, shook everything out and left items outside and washed everything right away etc. This property must really be infested for us to get that many bites. The hotel had to have known.

The bed was very comfortable. The general room was good. Some patchy areas that aren’t fixed and would look better if fixed. The bathroom was grimey and not very clean. I found dirt all over the floor. Grossed us out. The continental breakfast was decent (bagels, toast, cereal, muffins, breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, fruit.

The room was disgusting. We paid over $300 for the night, compared to a 2 Star Miotel 6 two nights previously for a $130 that was 10 times better. Stains all over the washroom area. Chair in the room was stained, the carpet smelled, the heating unit was dirty and did not work correctly. The staff was unorganized, sitting around talking making us wait when we checked in. The complimentary breakfast had next to no food left and no coffee at 8am. We had to ask the staff and the gentleman was apparently upset that we were inconveniencing him by asking for some. Honestly the worst hotel that we have ever stayed in and they are price gouging for what they pretend online to offer.

Les passages était sale. Pour déjeuner personne ne lave les tables et comptoir donc très sale. Manquait café, beurre et plusieurs choses donc nous devions a chaque fois aller voir le personnel . Pour avoir demeurer souvent dans des motels normalement un employé passe régulièrement afin de s'assurer que tout soit propre et qu'il manque de rien. Très déçu. Cest la première et dernière fois que je loge dans cette établissement.

The room had been sprayed with some areosol to cover some cigarette smoke I could smell in the background. Got a massive headache from it.... had to open the window and run fan all night to clear this up .... Anyone smoking in rooms should be charged $5000 to cover thorough cleaning.

The hallway looks like it hasn't been vacuumed in a very long time which makes you wonder about overall cleanliness. Paint in washroom is still on primer. This hotel has seen better days. The price is good but have to wonder if it's worth it.

This was a last minute booking. The property was underwhelming as it felt dated and used. The pillows are horrible, I’ve been tossing all night and write this review at 3:30 am as I am unable to get comfortable to sleep :(

Room is out of date and has partial carpeting. Can smell the carpet when you get into the room. Wasnt happy with the downpayment amount that was required upon check in. Too expensive for what was given.

Indicated that there was daily room cleaning. In four nights they did not come once. Also instead of keeping just the security deposit on my credit card ($200) for a few days, they kept the full charge of my room ($1600) for one week after I checked out, plus the charges for my room. Caused major issues with my bank.

Toilet was plugged I asked the front desk for help while he was moping the entrance told him my washroom floor was soaked due to toilet overflowing he said just leave it someone will clean tomorrow then handed me a plunger (fend for yourself kinda thing ) I had to use all towels to wipe up floors. The manager did give me small discount but seriously should have offered another room or free stay. I was upset when front desk told me just to leave it and someone would fix in morning I said to him NO I need a functional toilet for the night. I had to use plunger everytime I had to use toilet. He also told me it happens all the time! So disappointed

The stay was nice and was decent for pricing. Only issue I had was, trouble with checking in as I didn’t need to show my id for check in and as some person took my reservation and had already checked into my room without proof of ID for the reservation. But overall was a decent stay!

Checking in was easy, person at the counter was friendly and personable. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The cooling/heating unit was messing up a bit and it was a little warm the first night. Next night it was fine. Our second time at this hotel and if/when we head back to Timmins, we'll stay here again.

They refused my check-in, even though I booked the room online and had it paid for. Staff was completely useless no manager on site. She didn’t even know how to get her manager on the phone to clear up the confusion. Do not book a room at this place this place should be closed down and staff should be fired.

Nice hotel with very friendly, helpful staff at the front desk and cleaning staff. Concerns (like access to TV) are promptly adhered to. For the price you pay you get an excellent, secure stay.

Nice hotel with very friendly, helpful staff at the front desk and cleaning staff. Concerns (like access to TV) are promptly adhered to. For the price you pay you get an excellent, secure stay.

The room was disgusting. We paid over $300 for the night, compared to a 2 Star Miotel 6 two nights previously for a $130 that was 10 times better. Stains all over the washroom area. Chair in the room was stained, the carpet smelled, the heating unit was dirty and did not work correctly. The staff was unorganized, sitting around talking making us wait when we checked in. The complimentary breakfast had next to no food left and no coffee at 8am. We had to ask the staff and the gentleman was apparently upset that we were inconveniencing him by asking for some. Honestly the worst hotel that we have ever stayed in and they are price gouging for what they pretend online to offer.

room was clean, beds are comfortable. Only complaint is the breakfast area - first day there were no coffee cups - I asked staff to bring some and they did. Then they egg mcmuffin sandwiches ran out, I asked staff, they brought some. Next day: same thing - no coffee cups, milk ran out. Everything was fine, but staff should keep an eye on breakfast area which was running out of everything.

The property has been renovated and was very nice. The front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast area is extremely small. Only hot options are either toaster items or microwave items. It was fine for a single person but not good for families.

My wife and l enjoyed our two nights there on Labour Day weekend. Room was good, clean and the beds were very comfortable. We encountered no issues while we were there. It was very quiet as there was not many guests while we were there. Breakfast ends at 9:30 am which was too early for us, as we slept in both mornings. We would definitely stay here next time. Tim Hortons is a two minute ride down the street and the Hotel has an East Side Mario’s directly behind it which is very convenient. I would give this property a 4.1 out of 5.

Rooms are moderately clean but not well maintained. Hallways quite dirty. Breakfast is cold cereal, yogurt and coffee. Staff is friendly. Appears to host many transient workers and unhoused people. Cheap but defo more costly than it should be.

When we arrive, the air conditioner was not working in the room. They changed the air conditioner. We had a much better result. The first time I took a shower, the water was not draining very well in the bathtub. I was standing halfway between my ankles and my knees and water. I told a staff member about it. Nobody came to the room to check it out. On the second night that we were there the toilet plugged at midnight. I went for a whiz and the toilet would not flush. It wanted to overflow. The desk clerk came with a plunger, but he didn’t know how to use it very well. I took the plunger and cleared the blockage. The toilet was still very slow to flush, but it was better. The bathroom exhaust fan did not work.
