Situated in a business area this rather Spartan hotel fills a need if you just need a bed for the night. The rooms are austere but clean and tidy and the facilities marginal. But for £50 a night you can’t grumble!

I stayed at the 24/7 Hotel in Oldham recently, and here's what I can share from my experience. The hotel was ok for a one night stay, we had a concert at Heaton Park and the hotel was about a 20 minute drive from there..free parking and loads of spaces..for what we paid compared to what hotels wanted in Manchester and surrounding areas it was ideal

Very evidently an old Travelodge, and by old I mean old. Very much needs refurbishing from top to bottom, the corridors feel like an old hospital. The bed was realtively comfortable, but the room was very sparse. Room had a skylight window but it barely opened which in the hot weather was awful. No air conditioning either.

Taps leaked, heater noisy, room very basic but reception did send additional pillows after request so wasn’t all bad. Car park was full so had to park on road.

This was a cheap / budget stay. Hotel next to a small 'industrial estate' and a dual carriageway. Some way out of town - approx. 20 minutes on foot. Hotel is clean enough and easy check in. Free Parking!! The room was quite big, but, the plaster was coming away from the window frames, the windows were quite grimy. The TV remote didn't work and neither did the taps or the shower in the bathroom! But it did the job that we booked it for - somewhere cheap to put our heads down after a long day.

The hotel was tatty. Bathroom was in need of fixing. Toilet roll holder holder coming off the wall. Bath/shower contols damaged and just usable. Furnishings in the room grubby. Several warning signs in the room for ceiling hieght and danger from burning on the room heater. Room was unwelcoming. But the bed was comfortable.

For starters there was a woman on an absolute power trip working at the front desk. She very nearly didn’t let us check in because we were with a 17 year old who apparently needed to be accompanied by a parent/guardian despite it not stating this anywhere on the booking. This woman also stood in the corridor looking for an opportunity to have a go at us for “being too loud” despite nobody complaining about this. There was food shoved behind one of the beds from the previous guests and rust all over the shower and shower curtains, as well as no hot water coming from the tap, aside from when this tap would randomly switch on without being touched. There was also no way to change the temperature in the room so it was either boiling hot or freezing. The security deposit was also upped from £20 to £50 in between the time that I booked the room and went to check in, which I was not made aware of until I checked in. Finally, there were very peculiar rules posted up around the hotel, such as no pyjamas in the lobby?? Overall would not recommend, will not be coming back!

Ok location, however needs updating in all areas . The smells near lift area were terrible . Room needed cleaning thoroughly

Property needs refurbishment, dirty and tired, television aerial was held in the socket with blu-tack and kept going off, the bathroom was awful, there was a crack in the bathroom sink, very unhygienic, and the whole place had a funny smell, not fresh, so definitely will not be returning.

Parking was good place need a good paint lot of noise outside my room.. Staff very friendly and bedding had some stains on

We sted two nights, didn't head hot water in the shower and wash basin, the bed and bedding was good but furniture was dusty.

No hot water, either shower or basin tap. 4th floor room, noise through window as if it was open. Rained and sounded like drummers on window/roof zero sleep. Colleague had 1st floor room foisty smell on entry and worse when heated. Avoid!

Check-in was done quickly, room was large and bed was very comfy; a bit difficult to reach the hotel if you're going by bus or train but value for money is amazing

Curtains didn't fit window. Wall lights fell off wall. Electric heater didn't work. Washbasin hot tap came off in my hand. Place in need of some serious repair and maintenance . It is an awful condition.

Very strange place to stay. Too noisy all through the night. People shouting and playing in the corridor. TV and radio blasting all through the night. Terrible condition of bathroom. Wouldn't recommend at all.

City view was very nice from my window, I can see whole Manchester skyscrapers from there, in terms of ventilation, there is no ventilation so you will suffocate during summer and hot time, overall my experience was good with comparatively cheap and budget hotel stay for business.

It’s a cheap and nasty hotel full of in savoury characters which is no a place for small children as the smell of drugs was horrific within the hallways The room was shabby and in need of repairs the shower is slow, the toilet handle hanging off the wall The check was shocking with a demand to scan my licence , there is no league reason to scan my personal details when you have on account nor can any business under GDPR request with out good reason which I was not provided with , very shady

I didn't like the fact that we came earlier before the check-in time and the receptionist asked us to pay £10 for an early check-in. Despite offering to pay the £10, we weren't able to check-in because the cleaners were behind schedules in carrying out their duty. We were extremely tired after a long drive from London to Manchester. The receptionist tried to help

The hotel is situated in a central location with good public transport to Manchester and the lovely villages of the hills surrounding Oldham.It is very clean and friendly and competitively priced.

Enjoyed the on site cafe when we arrived so didn't have to go out to eat although there's plenty of takeaway just over the road

Very expensive very basic amenities all food was microwaved. The lady serving food was lovely. There was a lot of noise from other rooms. Shoring swearing and moving of furniture so I didn’t sleep well. Also people were definitely smoking marjuana

From checking in to checking out staff was friendly and great. The full English breakfast was fantastic.
