Jag är tyvärr väldigt missnöjd med min vistelse på hotellet. Jag bad personalen flera gånger om hjälp med TV:n, och varje gång lovade de att någon skulle komma och fixa problemet. Trots att jag frågade fyra gånger under en och en halv dag kom ingen för att hjälpa oss. Hotellet passar främst personer som bara ska stanna en natt och har tillgång till bil. Det ligger långt utanför centrum och det finns nästan ingenting i närheten, varken restauranger eller affärer. Jag är väldigt besviken på servicen och förväntade mig betydligt bättre bemötande från personalen. Jag skulle inte rekommendera hotellet till någon som reser utan bil.

Booked a week in advance, booking for two nights was +£360. Randomly checked the app for the same hotel on the morning of my check-in, dropped to £118 for the same stay.

We booked this hotel for a birthday weekend away, hoping for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Unfortunately, from the very beginning, we felt like everything was an inconvenience. My partner has dietary issues and can only have liquids, so we explained this to reception, who directed us to the kitchen. We were then told they couldn’t heat up soup due to hygiene reasons and were advised to buy Cup-a-Soups instead. We found this disappointing, as we were simply looking for a little help to accommodate my partner’s dietary needs. The following day, we asked for more milk and fresh cups, explaining that the original ones had been taken away with the room service tray. We were told fresh ones would be brought to our room, but they never arrived. Overall, we felt like an inconvenience rather than paying guests. It was especially disappointing as this was supposed to be a special birthday trip, and the lack of care, communication and customer service really put a dampener on the weekend. We understand that hotels have policies to follow, but a little understanding and willingness to help would have made a huge difference to our stay. Sadly, the experience fell well below our expectations, and we left feeling disappointed rather than having the enjoyable birthday getaway we had hoped for. We hope the hotel takes this feedback on board and improves its customer service so that future guests feel more welcome and valued.

An otherwise good stay was spoiled by an unknown person opening our room door at 6.30 AM, rattling it loudly against the security chain. After this rude awakening I was unable to get back to sleep, not the best preparation for the long drive home. Staff were very apologetic but could offer no explanations.
