We had a nice big room overlooking the garden and street. There was plenty of parking and a good menu for our evening meal in the pub. We sat outside on the patio and there is a little playground for the kids which was very much appreciated. Plenty of drinks choices at the bar and prices were reasonable. Good continental breakfast selection plus a full English breakfast and lots of banter between the breakfast staff - we had a great time and lots of laughs. I have deducted one star because I found three hairs in the bathroom but other than that everything was fine and we would stay there again if we are ever back on Anglesey.

For the price and location for a nights stay before the ferry to Dublin, especially as a breakk is included is good value for money. Room was dated amd lacked amenities but fine for a pit stop. My only compliant is the TV was the smallest TV i have ever had in a hotel room. Staff were friendly, lots or parking and lots of places to eat in walkkng distance

Family room was great for what we needed. Quite basic but good value for the money. Super easy to check in. Ate in the evening. Staff lovely and food decent. Parking super easy. Perfect pit stop for getting the Ferry at Holyhead.

I just needed a reasonably priced b&b on a short road trip on my bike. I was very happy with the Valley as my choice of stay. A comfortable en suite single room, a good quality fresh cooked breakfast, good bar and bar meal and a friendly staff team. Very happy. Thanks.

Nice clean hotel, close to all amenities, with some excellent facilities on its doorstep, staff were very welcoming and the bar was a pleasant experience. Food was well cooked and full of flavour.

We arrived early, our rooms were not ready. The staff greeted us warmly, stowed our bags, and said we could go to lunch in the dining room. The food was incredible! Before we were finished, our rooms were ready. We settled in, walked around the lovely village, before heading back to the bar. It was lovely to get our drinks and sit outside in the beautiful gardens. The staff was very helpful and kind. We really enjoyed talking to them, they were delightful. Our rooms were very comfortable. We would stay here again.

This hotel is clean, stylish, and very comfortable. All the staff we met were very friendly & helpful. The food was excellent, served promptly and in a nice ambience. Our room was very nicely decorated, the bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the blackout curtains. Tea/coffee tray was well stocked, with biscuits & bottled water also provided.

Other peoples hair in my bathroom. Only a third of a toilet roll for two nights stay. Single room… just that… single bed against the wall…no plug socket or shelf near bed. Friends room… no tea bags… one empty/ used sachet of milk. Very basic amenities for the price. However the breakfast was very good but the service very slow. Open at 7am. We were first in the dining area but we still somehow waited 40 minutes to order when we had made it clear we wanted an early departure… Attention to detail was lacking ….fortunately will not have to stay here again. Proudly displayed on the bar wall was a certificate stating winner of four in a bed…. Very hard to believe unless that was just a local competition.

We stayed here as a place to stop after a ferry journey. I wouldn’t recommend to families as the pub was noisy when we arrived and not a particularly welcoming atmosphere. Room was well presented and very clean. The bathroom was the same apart from the sink took forever to drain. My biggest issue was the mattress. It was horrendous. Very uncomfortable, thin and cheap. I had a really bad sleep. The food was good but the service was poor. I was given my food but the waiter didn’t give me any cutlery, I had go looking for some. I’m not sure how they thought I was going to eat my food.

Convenient for our stay, place is looking a bit tired, could do with a refurbishment, dining carpet badly worn and marked, our room dated and need of upgrading, loose fittings, faulty lights in bathroom shower screen and surrounding of bath needs attention. The hotel is not welcoming. Decor dull and staff member rude and abrupt . The room was ok. Not worth the money but beds comfy . As another guest mentioned only a tiny amount of toilet roll However breakfast was good

Amazing stay. Food is delicious, staff have been friendly, helpful, and accommodating. It’s been so peaceful and quiet, I extended my original booking by a week. Supermarkets, hardware store and a few places to eat within walking distance.

Stayed for one night with the family as we had an early ferry the next morning. Would definitely stay again, the staff were so friendly and the place was convenient. The hotel were very generous with snacks and water bottles in the rooms too, pleasant surprise. Good value for money. Breakfast was lovely also.

Stayed for one night with the family as we had an early ferry the next morning. Would definitely stay again, the staff were so friendly and the place was convenient. The hotel were very generous with snacks and water bottles in the rooms too, pleasant surprise. Good value for money. Breakfast was lovely also.

Family room was great for what we needed. Quite basic but good value for the money. Super easy to check in. Ate in the evening. Staff lovely and food decent. Parking super easy. Perfect pit stop for getting the Ferry at Holyhead.

Staff very friendly and welcoming, food is of a high standard and would stay here again. Handy for Trearddu bay beach, only 6 min drive away down one road. Good facilities around (Spar/subway etc)

Nice clean hotel, close to all amenities, with some excellent facilities on its doorstep, staff were very welcoming and the bar was a pleasant experience. Food was well cooked and full of flavour.

Amazing stay. Food is delicious, staff have been friendly, helpful, and accommodating. It’s been so peaceful and quiet, I extended my original booking by a week. Supermarkets, hardware store and a few places to eat within walking distance.

This hotel is clean, stylish, and very comfortable. All the staff we met were very friendly & helpful. The food was excellent, served promptly and in a nice ambience. Our room was very nicely decorated, the bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the blackout curtains. Tea/coffee tray was well stocked, with biscuits & bottled water also provided.

Other peoples hair in my bathroom. Only a third of a toilet roll for two nights stay. Single room… just that… single bed against the wall…no plug socket or shelf near bed. Friends room… no tea bags… one empty/ used sachet of milk. Very basic amenities for the price. However the breakfast was very good but the service very slow. Open at 7am. We were first in the dining area but we still somehow waited 40 minutes to order when we had made it clear we wanted an early departure… Attention to detail was lacking ….fortunately will not have to stay here again. Proudly displayed on the bar wall was a certificate stating winner of four in a bed…. Very hard to believe unless that was just a local competition.

The room was OK, the bathroom was cheap and very dark.. The hotel lacked character; the food was pub food but very good, the breakfast was amazing, the staff were very good and friendly, the hotel stay was expensive for the class of hotel.

Room was well presented and very clean. The bathroom was the same apart from the sink took forever to drain. My biggest issue was the mattress. It was horrendous. Very uncomfortable, thin and cheap. I had a really bad sleep. The food was good but the service was poor. I was given my food but the waiter didn’t give me any cutlery, I had go looking for some. I’m not sure how they thought I was going to eat my food.

We arrived early, our rooms were not ready. The staff greeted us warmly, stowed our bags, and said we could go to lunch in the dining room. The food was incredible! Before we were finished, our rooms were ready. We settled in, walked around the lovely village, before heading back to the bar. It was lovely to get our drinks and sit outside in the beautiful gardens. The staff was very helpful and kind. We really enjoyed talking to them, they were delightful. Our rooms were very comfortable. We would stay here again.

The hotel was clean, but run down. Could do with some investment to fix the small things, such as missing lampshades on the ceiling light, or broken coat hooks. It served its purpose, being convenient for the ferry terminal

The hotel itself was clean and tidy but the attitude and language of some members of staff was very rude and unhelpful. We were told at check-in that breakfast was served from 7am- 10am but when we came down on our last morning for breakfast at 9.30 we were told that breakfast had finished at 9 am and they couldn’t offer us tost or juice because they were waiting for a delivery! We also had a meal the first night and I was served an undercooked half a chicken! I didn’t realise until I had eaten some and suffered a severe upset stomach and stomach pains during the following day. This was a very disappointing stay and would definitely NOT recommend this hotel! There is a Premier Inn 10 minutes away from The Valley Hotel-book that instead!
