Upgraded to an exec room so we could have aircon. Room was situated at the back of the hotel over the function room which held a 21st party. Not so exec with music playing until 23:30.

We stayed here for a weekend. The room was lovely, with a really large bed and also two armchairs. The curtains were also thick which made the room nice and dark for sleeping. The water for the sink and bath was hot too. We had drinks downstairs on the patio and the waiter could not have been more helpful - bringing us cushions for the chairs, putting up the umbrella for us, and checking in at appropriate points to see if we wanted more drinks.

A delightful hotel with friendly, professional and efficient staff. The breakfast is self service and very varied with continental or English. The rooms are spacious, clean and have tea and coffee making facilities. There is also a bar in the hotel that leads out to beautiful gardens. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the train station where you can get services to London, High Wycombe and Oxford. Highly recommended.

The Hotel had free parking and free electric car charging which I thought was great. The food was amazing and the evening meal tasted like they had a top chef cooking for them. The breakfast was really nice as well

All staff were very professional and welcoming. Plenty of parking available. Beautiful garden and dinning/bar area. Large buffet breakfast selection of good quality and cooked well. Will recommend to others.

The property is a lovely establishment. The outdoor patio is such an unexpected treat. The Bull Hotel is not far from Heathrow Airport even with roadway traffic. The walk to Gerrards Cross Train Station was manageable.

Very well run, front staff helpful. I like that there's an indoor and outdoor area for dinner and drinks. And I like having the option of a newspaper delivered: it may be old school, but it influenced my choice to stay here a second time. A family member who needed an accessible room was well accommodated.

A beautiful quiet property, with a very good restaurant, including ample breakfast buffet. My wife who is Celiac especially appreciated quite a few menu items marked GF and the scrupulous attention in avoiding cross-contamination. The room was also very nice with a comfortable king size bed; just a bit musty- it could use better ventilation especially on a damp day. Carpets in some areas of the hotel are a bit dated but clean. It’s convenient to Heathrow and the M25. We did find it pricey especially the restaurant so bear that in mind.

Staff couldn't be more smiley or helpful. Bathroom had a loo seat that crashed down alarmingly and a basin tap that was responsible for shooting water everywhere: the loo seat, all surfaces, both my husband and myself (all dressed up and ready to go to dinner). Scuffs and scratches were on all corridor walls, half peeled off labels on bathroom walls. Great bed, really comfortable! Imaginative hot buffet in the evening and truly impressive breakfast - including perfectly fried eggs that were runny. Altogether a very good experience and we would stay again. Full marks to the staff, though who were so charming, efficient and organised.

Another fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location of this hotel is great for Wembley events and visiting London. The staff are always friendly and the food served is excellent.

Staff really good and attentive our room was a little dated example shower over bath the head was loose. No air-con. But very clean and looked after and very comfortable. We would stay again and my mum’s room was much more up to date with air con and walk in shower. Could fault the staff best I have seen for a long time and the food was good too.

We have stayed here in the past so chose the Bull again as we were going to an event in Wembley. It's easy walking distance to Gerrards Cross station where there are lots of trains to Wembley and Central London. The hotel rooms are extremely well appointed with high quality furniture, air conditioning and the rainfall shower was amazing! Staff were all friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel, good size room, No air Con and not able to fully open windows due to the safety catch system, which is the correct for safety of young people but not when the room is around 30 degrees.

Great place to stay. Rooms are a good size and well furnished, shower is great and bed is comgortable. Wide selection of well cooked food at a readonable price. The staff are really polite and enthusiastic. Good parking, close to the station. Basically that covers everything you would want from a hotel. Hense 5 stars. 😉

Visited for celebration of a wedding anniversary Sunday lunch. Food and service at lunch was excellent. The serving staff were v good. We sysyed for the night and also had a late meal in the bar area. The service was also also and the food - club sandwich and lamb curry were really good too. A v nice menu with a good number of choices. room was very comfortable. Excellent bathroom and comfy bed. Breakfast was advised as 730- 10 am. Arrived at 945 … got coffee and collected cereal and was then abruptly told at 955 we had only 5 mins and the hot food buffet would be taken away. An older member of staff effectively watched over until we took our food by 10 and it was ceremoniously all removed. Appreciate they have to give a time but it’s how it’s implemented. Most places look for you to arrive for 10 am… didn’t feel too,chilled to be frank and fact is by 1005 we would have chosen etc…. A minor point arguably in a lovely hotel which we would recommend

The average overall score is that on booking in I was told the room was not available (at 1pm) and I would have to pay £30 to fast-track the room cleaning... in the end, the room wasn't available for another hour, so I was charged £30 to be an hour earlier than normal time. Given that there are plenty of rooms, I would have solved this in a different way, or waived the charge.This is not America...

We stayed here while visiting friends in the area. It has a really great history and was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really robust and we enjoyed it each morning we stayed. The Bar staff was super friendly and we loved the free drink tickets offered at check in. All in all, I thought this was a lovely hotel. It's a bit of a walk to the train station but ubers were really easy to get. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a good value in the area.

We booked the Bull because it was dog friendly and we were happy to pay the extra charge to have our dog with us. It was a stop on our way home from a trip when I found I needed to be in London for an appointment and Gerrards Cross has good train links to London. Despite allegedly being dog friendly, we were not permitted in the bar area and had to eat in a separate bar, which was closed. I have no problem with dogs being excluded from the dining room, but this was a little extreme. We were three rooms away from the dining room in what was essentially a glorified corridor. Aside from that, the room was comfortable and clean. However, Tthe key cards were unreliable and one didn’t work at all, which I raised with reception and was told it was probably my phone that deactivated it - the card was not anywhere near my phone. It just didn’t work. If the dog friendly status were more inclusive it would have been a better experience. We just wanted to sit in the bar, not the restaurant/dining room, which has always been the case in other hotels. I’d prefer not to feel like an outcast when eating an expensive meal.

The property is a lovely establishment. The outdoor patio is such an unexpected treat. The Bull Hotel is not far from Heathrow Airport even with roadway traffic. The walk to Gerrards Cross Train Station was manageable.

We have stayed here in the past so chose the Bull again as we were going to an event in Wembley. It's easy walking distance to Gerrards Cross station where there are lots of trains to Wembley and Central London. The hotel rooms are extremely well appointed with high quality furniture, air conditioning and the rainfall shower was amazing! Staff were all friendly and helpful and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here while visiting friends in the area. It has a really great history and was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was really robust and we enjoyed it each morning we stayed. The Bar staff was super friendly and we loved the free drink tickets offered at check in. All in all, I thought this was a lovely hotel. It's a bit of a walk to the train station but ubers were really easy to get. I highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a good value in the area.

Nice hotel in a beautiful area of Gerrards Cross. Just off a busy road but there is no noise from the road at all. Everything about our stay was positive , would recommend.

A beautiful quiet property, with a very good restaurant, including ample breakfast buffet. My wife who is Celiac especially appreciated quite a few menu items marked GF and the scrupulous attention in avoiding cross-contamination. The room was also very nice with a comfortable king size bed; just a bit musty- it could use better ventilation especially on a damp day. Carpets in some areas of the hotel are a bit dated but clean. It’s convenient to Heathrow and the M25. We did find it pricey especially the restaurant so bear that in mind.

Another good stay at The Bull so we would stay again. Areas for improvement would be a) over attentive clearing away of tables at breakfast made us feel a bit rushed b) poor vegetarian dinner - why is that when all the meat eaters get a plateful of mixed vegetables with their meat, vegetarians get nothing other than a plate full of the same thing e.g. ravioli and nothing else? The clue is vegetarian.

All staff were very professional and welcoming. Plenty of parking available. Beautiful garden and dinning/bar area. Large buffet breakfast selection of good quality and cooked well. Will recommend to others.

Pleasant stay. Staff are friendly. Breakfast was okay though I wasn't too happy about meat and vegetarian food being in close proximity as hotel guests often used same utensils to serve themselves food. Had they been separated then this would not be an issue.

I eas little disappointed with the Hotel on this vist, all was going well until breakfast, the restaurant was really cold, the heating was clearly faulty, and felt to be blowing cold air, the problem was compounded with cold plates, the result was a cold breakfast. The rooms were fine and the staff freindly and helpfull as usual.

Really good hotel. Room was large and well maintained. Bed was large and very comfortable. Large tv and really great shower. Breakfast was exceptional. The only negative that i have is the evening meal which had limited options and was just average. The fish and chips came with two straight out of a box triagles of fish. Not what you expected for the price

We were welcomed and allowed to check in 1 hour earlier than normal check in at 15:00. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a good selection of hot and cold food, plus hot and juice drink machines. In addition, staff circulated to remove used plates and offer hot drink top-ups. A very good experience.

We would highly recommend this hotel. We found it ideally located for visiting friends & family in Amersham & West London. Lovely spacious room. Comfortable large bed. All linens & areas were clean & pleasant. As with any venue thae staff can make it break an experience. The Bull has no problems in this department. Every member of staff we met was professional but friendly & happy to help. Especial mention has to be made for Becca (unfortunately not 100% sure of her name) who served us on Thursday (24th) evening. Absolute credit to the hotel. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection of hot & cold options. The hot food was replaced frequently & so didn't suffer from being on the hot plates. The only real criticism was with the breakfast experience, the juice dispenser. It was obviously a concentrate & diluted by the machine. For us this didn't work & the taste of the juices wasn't very nice. The bar was very good. Wide selection of drinks & a relaxing area. Excellent cosmopolitan! Apart from the juice issue we highly rate this hotel & would definitely stay there again.
