Hotel Stella was a great last minute booking, the location is a 5 minute walk from the harbour. The roof terrace has beautiful views of Rapallo. The cleanliness of the rooms is great and the beds are very comfortable. Bring ear plugs, though! The rooms are very close together and noisy. Both nights I was kept up by other guests.

Easy check in / out Wouldn’t recommend room on 5th floor as Lift only goes to 4 and you have to navigate the additional 20 steps with luggage. Reception did offer to assist. Had a superior room which was comfortable, clean and basic ( no kettle for tea and coffee) . Breakfast was great ,was impressed with the service and selection of foods. Rooftop provides stunning views . Would have enjoyed sitting out but no shade.

No parking . No help with finding temporary parking to unload suitcases by staff . They should advertise that there is no parking around their property and they don't have any parking spots . U have to basically figure out on your own and park at strange spots in this busy part of town. If you driving there be warned

We loved our 4 day stay here. The staff were uniformly cheerful and informative (thanks Lucretia, Giovanni and breakfast lady), the building charming, with a deck available on the 5th floor. The whole establishment was sparkling clean. Location is great, between 2 grocery stores, 10 minutes from the train station. Good soundproofing and air con. Plentiful storage, sweet balcony. Breakfast offered lots of options in all food groups in a pleasant room. Overall, top notch!

Such a gem in the middle of town. And the friendliest staff ever! Delicious cappuccinos and don't forget to check out the roof terrace. If you need car parking try to make a reservation beforehand. We didn't know but the staff bend over backwards to get us a permit to park on the street

My room was tiny but clean. The A/C worked, the shower was refreshing and there was a mini fridge. Rate was very reasonable for Rapallo and the hotel was 500 meters from downtown and the waterfront. Staff was pleasant and accommodating.

A ten minute walk from the station. Very helpful staff. Room clean and reasonably well appointed. A comfortable bed and a good night's sleep. Van delivery to the supermarket across the road at 5.30 am onwards was a bit noisy at times. Breakfast was alright but choices a little limited. The staff again were very helpful.

Really good value for money. I stayed in the single room as a solo traveller. Room was clean and comfortable. Small, but comfortable. Water was hot and there was a small fridge in the room. Staff were very warm and helpful. If you’re on a budget, this is a great option.

Lovely check in staff. Supermarket nearby was great. Room in need of upgrade did not compare to other 3 star hotels in italy. Very noisy at night, disturbed our sleep on 2 nights.

Such a great location and an excellent and kind staff. Hotel is a bit dated, which is ok, but the location is perfect. And so is the view from the rooftop. Close proximity to trains station and Rapollo is overlooked and underrated. We found it charming and more authentically Italian. My only complaint is the beds, be prepared for a firm mattress.

Nice hotel for a short stay. For the price, though, I would expect better conditions in the room, especially the bathroom. The shower was so small you could not pick up anything if dropped.

Vi bokade 14 dagar på detta hotell, fin service i reception, välstädat och fräscht med tillmötesgående personal, fantastiskt fin takterss med utsikt där vi satt varje kväll med tilltugg och god dryck.Hotellet hjälpte till att boka taxi till flyget mitt i natten och taxin var punktlig-så vi kommer gärna tillbaka och vill gärna rekommendera detta hotell.

The hotel was only a 5-10 minute walk from the seafront and from the shopping streets and restaurants. There was also a handy supermarket just across the road! The reception staff and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a good selection for the buffet breakfast. The hotel was only a 5-10 minute walk from the seafront and from the shopping streets and restaurants. There was also a handy supermarket just across the road! The reception staff and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful, and there was a good selection for the buffet breakfast. Vi hade det toppen på Hotell Stella. Så trevliga människor som arbetar där och så service minded. Jag kommer lätt åka tillbaka. Vi fick många bra tips och rekommendationer och fick lämna bagaget på hotellet både innan och efter utcheckning. Rummet var bra och rent. Hotellet hade en underbar takterras där vi också kunde se raketer och sola. Vi lyckades pricka en festival som var där under 1-3 juli vilket var så roligt, det var extremt mycket fyverkerier och smällare som var fina att titta på och massa stånd med godis, smycken etc.

We loved our 4 day stay here. The staff were uniformly cheerful and informative (thanks Lucretia, Giovanni and breakfast lady), the building charming, with a deck available on the 5th floor. The whole establishment was sparkling clean. Location is great, between 2 grocery stores, 10 minutes from the train station. Good soundproofing and air con. Plentiful storage, sweet balcony. Breakfast offered lots of options in all food groups in a pleasant room. Overall, top notch!

Easy check in / out Wouldn’t recommend room on 5th floor as Lift only goes to 4 and you have to navigate the additional 20 steps with luggage. Reception did offer to assist. Had a superior room which was comfortable, clean and basic ( no kettle for tea and coffee) . Breakfast was great ,was impressed with the service and selection of foods. Rooftop provides stunning views . Would have enjoyed sitting out but no shade.

Wow! This was a fantastic option for our family of 4. Affordable, clean, and comfortable. Air conditioning worked very well. It is an older facility but we’ll maintained. The breakfast was lovely. Our kids loved the crossaint The hostess, Lucrezia, was so kind and informative and spoke perfect English. She deserves an applause! We would stay at this hotel again!

Einzelzimmer in schlichter, aber ausreichender Ausstattung. Bad gross und sauber. Freundlicher Service, Frühstück (gegen Aufpreis) reichhaltig und gut. Lage gut, Parkmöglickeiten in derr näheren Umgebung möglich. Hafen mit umliegenden Restaurants problemlos in kurzer Entfernung zu Fuss erreichbar.

Such a gem in the middle of town. And the friendliest staff ever! Delicious cappuccinos and don't forget to check out the roof terrace. If you need car parking try to make a reservation beforehand. We didn't know but the staff bend over backwards to get us a permit to park on the street

The website and pictures portray the hotel well. It is a relatively small hotel and on first appearances can seem a little dated. However all staff encountered were exceptional, high quality of cleanliness throughout the hotel. Rooms cleaned daily, towels changed daily. Room had everything required. Ample pug sockets, Bed comfortable. Air conditioning worked well. Breakfast was continental buffet style. No hot food. Usual selection of fruit juices, water, tea, choice of coffee's, hot chocolate etc. Choice of cereals, pastries, breads, cakes, cold meats and cheese, selection of fruit and yoghurts. Roof top terrace has lovely views. Only small, but perfect for relaxing on if you get back from sight seeing and have an hour or two to spare and want to sit in the sun and admire the view. The hotel is on a busy road, good supermarket right across the road. A very short 5 minute, max, walk to sea front & promenade where there is an abundance of lovely restaurants and bars. Boat trips from the promenade approx 6 min walk away. Good local bus service was easy to navigate, as were the local trains. 7 - 10 minute, flat, walk from the Railway station. Had a lovely week exploring the local area. Would not hesitate to stay at Hotel Stella again if we are lucky enough to return. Found Rapallo to be a good base, lovely harbour area, good selections of restaurants, bars and shops.
