The trim strip at the bottom of the tub was falling off and looks gross. The breakfast was not good and the juice machine was out of order. No milk for the cereal either. The bed was not comfortable and not a lot of channels to choose from.

Older place with small room. Very clean and well maintained property. Gas stations and restaurants next door. Staff was very pleasant.

The hotels.com reviews of this property are wildly inaccurate! Just to add some context to this review, I had just driven 14 hours that day, it was nearly midnight, and I still chose to leave right away. The room was musty and damp, and you could feel the dampness in the bed linens themselves; they felt like clothing you took out of your dryer too soon. Under the fitted sheet and mattress pad there was dirt accumulating in the stitching of the mattress, and all around the edges. This property does not use mattress covers under their linens, and they clearly do not clean the mattress itself. The pull-out filters on the AC/heater unit looked as though they had not been cleaned in a very long time; thick layers of brownish looking dust and hair on them. The washcloths had a grey/brown hue to them; the bath towels had spots which I assumed to be old fluid stains. The room in general was unkept and obviously only being given a cursory cleaning between guests; the TV, iron, ironing board, etc., all had a thick layer of dust on them. Having said that, the woman working the front desk was very nice and apologetic; she accepted the keys back and assured me that hotels.com would issue me a refund; although hotels.com must issue your refund, and they make it extremely difficult. Also, if noise is a factor for you, this hotel is right next to a gas station that plays loud music at their pumps, apparently all hours of the night.

We chose this hotel because others closer to Depauw were booed up and this hotel had the highest ratings. I am baffled about the ratings, my only guess is AI Chatbots making false ratings. Absolutely disgusting, puddle of water on floor by door when we first entered. Stained sheets, stained towels. The bathroom was covered with dead bugs and other folks hair. It is not nice to have such dirty feet just from getting out of bed and walking to the bathroom and back because of the nastiness on the hard floor. DO NOT stay at this hotel, the ratings are absolutely false and the place is disgusting. We felt itchy all night long because of all the gross. This facility is not maintained by anyone who takes pride in their work. If we had known we would have stayed in the Indy area and driven the distance in the morning. I still feel dirty even now hours after checkout.
