The staff here are super helpful and the hotel is in a great location for sightseeing (walkable to the Victoria Memorial and Mother Theresa House, short taxi to the train station ). Lovely outside restaurant and bar. Decir a bit dated but you can’t fault the staff or the location.

We’re cyclists from Australia and have been travelling around the world on our bikes for 5 years. We received a wonderful welcome by the staff and everyone couldn’t do enough for us. The room was comfortable, the hotel itself had a great feel about it making us feel at home. The gym and spa were fantastic. The food was superb and so were all the wait staff. Everyone was super attentive to all our needs. Highly recommend this hotel and in such a great location too.

Great unassuming hotel in Kolkata center. Perhaps some of the best staff I have encountered in India. Top notch hotels in India often fall short on some measure (usually maintenance), but my room was perfectly maintained and everything actually worked! Loved the Christmas decorations and restaurant was great.

The hotel is very nice. Very close to many shopping options and in the heart of the busy city! I liked the room. Always very clean. They have provided 4 bottles of water which is perfect. The restaurant breakfast was great. The best is the staff, very helpful, always support me! Whenever I ask about something, in less than 5 minutes, I have it. I enjoyed a lot my stay!

The service was impeccable. Highly recommend staying in this hotel. The rooms are outstanding and the staff went over and above to cater to everything we asked for. A special mention to Rohan and Sumit at the reception desk.. thank you so much. My mum and husband travelled with me as well and they were well and truly impressed.

The Kenilworth Hotel is a great stay in Kolkata. I was here last year and the service and staff are excellent. The only complaint I have is that the card payment system at the front desk is problematic. Some cards are not accepted whereas other cards need multiple tries before being accepted. Apple Pay or tapping the card does not seem to work.

I had a good stay at the hotel in Kolkata. The rooms were comfortable, and its location is a definite advantage—close to popular attractions such as Victoria Memorial and the vibrant Park Street area, making it convenient for sightseeing and dining. However, the TV service could be improved; I often wanted to watch the news, but only app-based options were available, which was somewhat inconvenient. Overall, it’s a decent place to stay while exploring Kolkata’s cultural and tourist hotspots.

We booked for 4 nights and will definitely be staying again next time we visit Kolkata. The rooms are cosy, spotlessly clean, and well appointed with any facilities you require. The staff are friendly, dedicated, and helpful. The food and drinks are also delicious. The hotel is situated in a fantastic location, close to the famous bars and restaurants of Park Street.

We booked for 4 nights and will definitely be staying again next time we visit Kolkata. The rooms are cosy, spotlessly clean, and well appointed with any facilities you require. Reasonably sized and clean rooms. Courteous staff who help with everything, including arranging taxi prices so that they don't cheat tourists. A very varied and delicious breakfast.

We’re cyclists from Australia and have been travelling around the world on our bikes for 5 years. We received a wonderful welcome by the staff and everyone couldn’t do enough for us. The room was comfortable, the hotel itself had a great feel about it making us feel at home. The gym and spa were fantastic. The food was superb and so were all the wait staff. Everyone was super attentive to all our needs. Highly recommend this hotel and in such a great location too.

The hotel is very nice. Very close to many shopping options and in the heart of the busy city! I liked the room. Always very clean. They have provided 4 bottles of water which is perfect. The restaurant breakfast was great. The best is the staff, very helpful, always support me! Whenever I ask about something, in less than 5 minutes, I have it. I enjoyed a lot my stay!

Great unassuming hotel in Kolkata center. Perhaps some of the best staff I have encountered in India. Top notch hotels in India often fall short on some measure (usually maintenance), but my room was perfectly maintained and everything actually worked! Loved the Christmas decorations and restaurant was great.

We had three rooms at Kenilworth in July of 2026. We were there for two days, visiting relatives and doing some sightseeing. The staff at the hotel always made us feel welcome. They took us to our room directly, and then Tanisha came up to the room to help us check-in. Which was a unique experience. On the first day, Tanisha helped us with a car service and also planning out a sightseeing itinerary. The car service on both days was exceptional and appropriately priced and very professional drivers. Shantanu was with us for three days and also stood in as a guide to explain places The restaurant had good food and the staff were also exceptional. Some provided great tips on eating places around town. The rooms were very clean, modern, and had all the amenities. Staff was very attentive and kept the room fresh for us everyday. Only issue we had was that one of our bathrooms smelled a bit like sewage. They offered another room, but we had attached rooms and did not want to change. Management took our feedback and hopefully will fix it. Overall a wonderful experience, and will highly recommend.

I highly recommend to the visitors of Kolkata. I always stay at this hotel. It is conveniently located. It is one of the best hotel. The hospitality of the staff are excellent. They remembered my birthday and presented me a delicious birthday cake. I was touched!
