Motel Idéal Ste-Rose

We were in the new block of rooms which were very nice. It was difficult getting our stroller up the stairs however.

Great motel. We came here last minute after our other accommodation didn’t work out. Only downside was it was very expensive due to the weekend we went. They offer breakfast and there’s a good ice machine and vending machines and a coffee machine with lattes for free! The main reason I give this a good review is the staff were very friendly which was rare on my trip. Was a breath of fresh air to have very kind staff

Nice parking and staff

The room was spacious, and the motel has a lots of parking spaces. The only problem, there is no elevator to go to the second floor.

We spent two nights at Ramada by Wyndham Laval and, unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected. When we checked in, the lady at the front desk assigned us a room on the second floor. There was no elevator, so we had to lug our suitcases up the stairs. Things got worse when we opened the door to our room and found it had clearly not been cleaned after the previous guests—a couple had used it, and there were condom packages left on the bed and used towels on the floor. It was honestly disgusting. We called the front desk, and instead of helping us with our luggage, we had to carry everything back downstairs to get another room. This time, we were given a room on the first floor, but it was at the far end of the building, which was quite inconvenient. The cleanliness of this room was just barely acceptable. There were water stains on the carpet near the door facing the parking lot, and someone had wrapped a towel around the air conditioner to stop a leak. The window curtain was stuck and couldn’t be raised fully, which made the room feel even less inviting. Breakfast was included, but the food variety was very limited and not particularly appealing. Overall, our stay was disappointing. The lack of cleanliness and poor maintenance really overshadowed any positives. I would not recommend this hotel unless there are no other options available.

Last minute booking. I found the property easy to find and there was plenty of parking. The assigned room was very spacious. The air conditioning was working and when I arrived the room was a comfortable temperature. However it was noisy, thus I turned off the A/C. A comfortable and restful sleep was obtained. I was pleased to discover check out time was 12 noon. The staff at check in /check out were very pleasant.

We appreciated the ev charger. It worked well.

Using stairs for heavy luggage

I must say, I was rather let down by my recent stay at your hotel. I had specifically chosen your establishment due to the advertised availability of electric car charging facilities, but I was disappointed to learn upon arrival that these have been out of order for several months, as confirmed by your staff. Furthermore, I feel that the quality of the accommodations and services provided did not justify the price I paid, and I believe there may be better options available in the area. Regrettably, I cannot recommend your hotel to others, as it did not meet the standards I expect from a Canadian establishment.

We got there and when we were being told the cleaning staff did not have our room ready. We had driven for 13 hours and i asked if there was another room that we could have she said the cleaners did not update the computer . Exactly at 3 oclock the room was ready at this time there was about 5 other people waiting. We went to our room the tiolet was not flushing. I had to reach in the tank and hook the handle in the tank. There was only a couple of towels in the room. The floor had pop or something spilled on ot and it was sticky. The fridge was not working not cold at all. Someone had an ice pack in the little freezer and even that was dripping. We made do for the first night and i let them know at the desk we would need towels an extra pillow ans blanket. We were already in bed when they showed up. That was the last we seen of them. The next day when we got back to shower and change they had n̈ot been there, we still had no fridge ot towels rooms were not cleaned garbage not touched. I was not impressed. Most definately will never be back there again. Waste of money, way over priced.

La chambre etait grande et il n'y avais pas de tapis. L'entretien exterieur et l'amenagement etaient accueillant. L'hotel etait tranquille. Cependant, les renovations effectuées n'étaient pas de qualité, le papier peint decollait des murs car il avait été peint, il y avais des espaces au pourtour de l'air climatisé qui donnait accès a l'exterieur, de la peinture dans les fenetres. La toilette etait fonctionnelle mais coulait sans arret avec la clanche qui restait coincé. Les draps et couverture etaient propres, la chambre sentait bon mais le plancher n'avait pas ete balayé, il y avait des céréales, du sable et autre debrit au sol. Les sommiers, les baseboards et les interupteurs etaient recouverts de coulisse brunâtres. Le dejeuner etait adéquat et les réceptionnistes etaient sympatiques. Le prix etait bien abordable.

The room we got was not clean. You sit on the bed and it crunched and crinkle like made terrible noises. I requested a king size bed. They gave me a queen size bed we went and they gave us another room with a king size bed. I found the room was not clean. My husband took a shower and he walked on the floor a couple of times and his feet were filthy and I was extremely upset then. You advertise free breakfast. There is no breakfast either day we spent there what we did get on the second day was a yogurt. Your hotels are not equipped for handicap seniors with major disabilities. I was not impressed at all. I would not recommend your hotel and I'm a little concerned that there may have been bedbugs in it And for the price that you charged. I would definitely not recommend your hotel. Kevina

Fenêtre qui ne ferme pas, poils dans les draps, air qui entre par la porte, pas de séchoir a cheveux, toilette sale, base de lit en 2x3, tapisserie décollée, lamelles de stores manquantes donc on voit dans la chambre, aménagement et décor plus que désuet. Pas de locquet de sécurité sur la porte. Reveil-matin sale et brisé. Je tiens toutefois à remarquer le professionnalisme du personnel.

L'endroit était poussiéreuse, brisé, sale. Le séchoir ne fonctionnait pas. Les meubles sont brisés. Il n'y avait pas de télécommande pour la télévision. La toilette avait du moisi, du noir à l'intérieur. Le lit était sur une base en bois. Pour essayer de rendre la salle de bain plus intime, puisqu'un mur etait vitré ils ont mis du papier givré mais n'ont même pas couvert la vitre au complet. La bouche d'aération était pleine de poussière. Le contour de fenêtre sale. Même le pommeau de douche éjectait l'eau dans toutes les directions parce qu'il était sale. Le séchoir à cheveux ne fonctionnait pas. La carte pour la porte à du être réactivé pour la 2e journée. Le déjeuner était très très très simple.

Mold on the walls of the washroom and rooms was not cleaned

La 1er chambre que nous avons eu était sale(poils dans les draps, plancher sale, derrière le conteneur a dechet). La dame a la réception nous a offert une autre chambre qui était passable. Mon fils de 8 ans s'est reveillé le matin le dos couvert de petits boutons. Les gens de la réception étaient gentils.

Sa fait trois fois que je vais à cette hôtel mais là j’ai eu la pire chambre de ma vie pourtant les deux premières fois très belle chambre,pour la dernière fois ma chambre était sale la douche avait des cheveux de femme et très petite douche la pomme à douche coulais de partout,des vieux rideaux qui traîne sur un vieux bureau,le bas de porte d’entrée on voit le jour ayoye pour l’hiver pour finir ma carte ne débarrai pas la porte de ma chambre retour à l’office pour recharger une autre carte et la dernière surprise un client rente dans ma chambre avec le même numéro de porte.de plus l’air climatisé Maine un bruit d’enfer.

Need better beds and pillows!!!

Nous avons été bien accueilli à la réception. La chambre et la salle de bain étaient propres. J'avais réservé une chambre avec 2 lits Queen et c'était des lits doubles. Endroit démodé. Ce n'est pas très joli. Il y a un minimum.

Super nice staff; both the receptionist and night guard very friendly. Some noise from the nearby road, and NO WIFI.

Brand new building with 2 stories, large rooms and bathrooms, everything very new, clean and quiet.

Uncomfortable noisy beds

Went with a group of 4 friends, we were expecting it to be way worse based on the reviews, but for the price we paid, it was not too bad. The room was clean, breakfast was pretty decent and there were many options around the hotel to eat and get groceries. Our main complaint is that the AC was super noisy making it pretty hard to fall asleep, and the smell of the room was pretty bad (smelled like old furniture). Eventually we got used to the noise and smell but they could definitely invest in a new AC unit.

The rooms in the new building are very spacious. The continental breakfast is sufficient. The property advertises that rooms are sound proof, absolutely not, we overheard a couple way down the hall having an intimate moment. The cleaning staff and the staff refilling breakfast were very kind, same with the staff at front desk. Overall we were satisfied.

Only one pillow per person and the bed was so hard.

Front desk assigned someone else to my room at 9:30pm resulting in someone else trying to enter my room unexpectedly. Then, front desk staff tried to enter my room unexpectedly at 10pm. No apology, no solution offered.

The staff is not friendly atall. Gave a very hard time at checkin. Renovations going on at the property when asked to give a room that’s away from it the staff literally said I’m delusional to think there’s renovations going on. Never staying here again.

Personnel tres chaleureux

A l'hôtel, la réceptionniste n'a pas trouvé ma réservation, elle m'a dit qu'étant donné que j'ai réservé il y a plusieurs mois et qu'il y a eu changement de bannière que c'était pour ça que ma réservation n'apparaissait pas, donc elle m'a donné une suite étant donné qu'elle n'avait plus de chambre de disponible, c'était très bien mais sur ma carte de crédit, j'ai eu 3 fois la charge sur ma carte, j'ai appelé la réception chez Ramada, elle a trouvé où était l'erreur et m'a remboursé. L'erreur était qu'elle n'a pas fait correctement sa recherche dans le système et que j'avais effectivement une réservation à mon nom, c'est pourquoi les charges additionnelles.

Check in was terrible. We were supposed to check in at 4pm but the room was not ready. They tried to overcharge me for one of the rooms, advising that I did not order the right room. I ordered two rooms exactly the same. The reception ended up giving me the room for the hotels.com price.

Everyone working was super friendly and the place was clean. Close to some restaurants and grocery stores. I would recommend if you're in the area. Thank you!

I paid for a double room.but they had none. They mentioned that i will be reimbursed but still nothing

The room itself was clean but we had broken blinds, we used our shower curtain to block the window.checkout was a night mare they asked for a cash deposit and then it took 2 managers and all day to find the deposit and give it back to us

Overall, the hotel was good for what we needed, which was simply a place to sleep. In terms of the positives, it was clean, the staff were nice and pleasant to deal with, and the continental breakfast was good. The only negatives were the condition of the room itself, including the following: the door to the room was really hard to open and close, the electrical plug beside the bed didn't work (I woke up in the morning and found my phone not charged), the lights were really confusing to switch on and off, and the bath towels were quite small. However, it was a decent stay (despite the price being so high because of F1 weekend in Montreal).

The property was nice but if you want to visit places in Montreal it is about 30 min driver other than that everything is fine

Con: It is far from last metro stop in Laval. Pros: Room felt like a hotel NOT motel. BK in AM is on par with hotels re cold options like hard boiled eggs, strudels, bread, cereals etc. HOOOOOT showers!!!!!!!!!!!

Emplacement pratique, proche d'une pharmacie, épicerie et restaurant (et tout peut se faire à pied). Nous y retournerons

Proche des autoroutes et des restaurants sur le boulevard Curé Labelle. Très propre. La seule chose qui manquerait serait une petite cafetière pour le matin. Mais avec les restaurants tout autour très proches il y est facile d'en rapporter

Bon hôtel pour une halte. Plutôt propre, personnel sympathique et petit dej correct.

Le déjeuner est une arnaque …. Y a rien à mangé sauf des rôties …aucune cafetière dans les chambres

Great hotel for the price really enjoyed my stay, the breakfest was nice some decent options

So the only con to this property is that the breakfast room is small, not that many options same breakfast the 5 days we were there wished they had options for gluten intolerant individuals had to buy breakfast many restaurants around the restaurant good area, also depending on the room your staying you may not be in the same building as the main office/ breakfast area

Muy bien, buena atención y ayuda en dudas de transporte, nos resguardaron las maletas casi un día, todo de una manera amable y respetuosa, un buen desayuno incluido.

Unable to attach shower head to wall. Very small and limited shower towels. Breakfast food did not seem fresh (hard pancakes) lobby coffee machine spills every time. bathroom smells weird all the time. extremely thin bedding. Also got woken up at 7am by the very loud alarm clock in the room directly next to ours. Would not stop for at least 15 minutes.

We stayed there for one night. The service was very good. The breakfast could have been better. It was very simple and there were only 3 tables to dine, and the coffee machine also was not working in the morning. But overall, the room was really good and clean. I would go back to the Motel.

It was just for one night. The room was clean, the mattress comfy, breakfast was good. I enjoyed my short stay .
