It goes above and beyond for the expectations for a 2 star hotel. Also it has free parking , which in Florence is great. Breakfast was good and varied. The area is beautiful, calm and silent, we really slept well and our room was warm in a cold winter night. It’s basic but what do you expect from a 2 star place? It has some common area in the outside, which is ok for summer. But it need means of transport for Florence, so if you go out at night you’ll have to take a taxi (20 euros). This place is best enjoyed if you have a car and you are not planning on drinking out.

Calm peaceful area but still close enough to everything within a short drive. Walking distance to a few little cafes etc. Excellent parking with gated (at night) entrance, operated by a keypad so you can come and go as you please easily. No additional cost for parking.

This is a great stay on the outside of Florence. Transportation into the city is convenient as there is a bus that takes you into the centre of Florence for €1.70/person. Food variety at breakfast was good and the hotel parking is convenient if you’re travelling by car. Overall had a very comfortable and welcoming stay, and would highly recommend to travellers who want to stay in a quiet area of Florence.

Alte, rustikale und romantische Villa mit Parkplatz auf dem Gelände. Kleine Zimmer mit guten Betten. Bushaltestelle nur ca. 200m entfernt. Der Bus fährt bis zum Bahnhof Florenz - sehr gute Anbindung auch zum Flughafen. Die Villa liegt traumhaft ruhig oberhalb von Florenz und wer die Ruhe nach einem turbulenten Tag in Florenz schätzt ist hier genau richtig. Gutes Frühstück mit viel Auswahl. Für uns war die Villa la Stella perfekt um Florenz zu erkunden. Kleiner Tip - mit dem Bus Nr 7 der zur Villa fährt, einfach weiter fahren nach Fiesole - kleines Dorf mit herrlicher Aussicht auf Florenz

Udemærket stille hotel i udkanten af Firenze. Beliggenheden er god i forhold til byens travlhed og jag. Lidt langt afstand at gå til bymidten ,men det kan lade sig gøre, hvis man er vant til at gå meget. Udemærket morgenmad med nogenlunde udvalg uden at være prangende. Dejligt rent over alt, men et lidt slidt hotel.

Trevligt och lugnt ställe att bo vid vistelse i Florens. Fantastisk utsikt över staden. Rent men enkelt. Vi sov mycket bra här. Personalen var hjälpsam. Lätt att ta sig in till Florens med buss. Några trevliga restauranger i närheten.

Struttra molto grande, con parcheggio e a pochi minuti d'auto dal centro di Firenze. Il personale è gentile; colazione internazionale, puoi trovare dolce, salato e distributori di bevande calde e succhi di frutta. Il bagno è abbastanza grande, il letto e i cuscini comodi e le stanze sono poco insonorizzate. Unica grande pecca: nella nostra stanza non erano presenti le zanzariere e dato il caldo dello scorso weekend non abbiamo potuto non tenere la finestra aperta; abbiamo passato la notte a dar la caccia alle zanzare... guardando dalla finestra le altre stanze le avevano, quindi magari erano solo alcune quelle con questo "problema". Nel complesso è stato un buon soggiorno.

PLUS: Ruhige Lage über der Stadt Florenz Busanbindung in die Stadt Frühstück Quali-und Quantität für ital. Verhältnisse ok. Alle Fenster mit Mückennetz (top) MINUS: Sehr, sehr hellhörige Zimmer, man kann wirklich die Nachbarn reden hören und jede Klospülung, etc. Frühstücksraum sehr dunkel und Kantinenstil (2 lange Tischreihen) keine Klimaanlage die funktioniert

La struttura si trova un po’ distante dal centro, ma facilmente collegata dagli autobus, presente il parcheggio gratuito, la camera era spaziosa per due, il bagno era cieco e non aveva nessun modo di areare, l’aria condizionata è un po’ datata pertanto fa molto rumore, c’era la presenza di innumerevoli zanzare molto fastidiose, la zanzariera era rotta, c’erano diverse macchie anche sul muro poco belle, la colazione buona, ma non molto vasta, la sala per la colazione purtroppo si riempie subito e diventa molto rumorosa, i muri sono poco insonorizzati pertanto durante la notte abbiamo sentito il vociare dei nostri vicini di stanza, letto non troppo comodo direi che per una notte te la fai andare bene

Beautiful location. Decent room size. Firm beds. Lovely view of Florence. A little dorm-like but confortable. Just outside of the city (15 minute bus or taxi from central train station). Decent breakfast.

The staff at the property were good. Air conditioning is advertised but it was terrible and the room never cooled down even when left on permanently. You can hear everything with adjacent units to the side and above. Beds were terrible (noisy and old mattresses). There is no fridge or any kind of amenities common in a hotel room. The breakfast was okay with pastries and fruit and drinks. Worst stay during our trip across Italy.

This “hotel” was more like a old hospital. The layout was super weird and did not resemble a hotel at all. The rooms were tiny and very basic, beds were extremely uncomfortable and there were no basic ammenities. Not even soap in the bathrooms. The location is around a 20 min bus ride out of the city - it’s a nice area but not close to anything. I really would not recconebd staying here to anyone

Nel complesso tutto bene. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Letto comodo (ho apprezzato il doppio cuscino), ambiente ben riscaldato, buona colazione, comodo parcheggio e fermata autobus per il centro vicinissima. Unico difetto, ma per me importante, si sentiva troppo il rumore dell'apertura e chiusura delle porte delle altre camere anche oltre la mezzanotte e la mattina presto.

Jeg likte tanken om å bo på et 'Villa'. Beliggenheten er typisk for Toscana, med høye trær rundt, oliventre i hagen og lyden av insekter. Bussholdeplass (buss nr. 7) rette utenfor hotellet. El Servicio del Hotel no es bueno. Las personas que son Clientes "Gold" para Hoteles.com normalmente tienen 2 horas mas temprano el Check in, o para el Check up dos horas mas tarde. Pues eso No lo respeta el Hotel.

I booked this as a solo traveller and, even if I felt welcomed and everything was smooth, it is an inconvenient location specially to arrive during the evening or night when it gets dark. The buffet breakfast and all the staff were great, but I wouldn't go back as a solo traveller just because of the convenience and safety to get there by myself.

It goes above and beyond for the expectations for a 2 star hotel. Also it has free parking , which in Florence is great. Breakfast was good and varied. The area is beautiful, calm and silent, we really slept well and our room was warm in a cold winter night. It’s basic but what do you expect from a 2 star place? It has some common area in the outside, which is ok for summer. But it need means of transport for Florence, so if you go out at night you’ll have to take a taxi (20 euros). This place is best enjoyed if you have a car and you are not planning on drinking out.

Die Villa ist in einer sehr schöne Gegend. Villen Gegend würde ich sagen.. Abseits vom Touristen Trubel. Mit dem Bus Nr. 7 ist man in ca. 25 Min in der Stadtmitte, und man kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß besichtigen. Alles in einem sehr schön gewesen! Wenn Sie mit dem Bus 7 bis zur Endstation Fiesola fahren, können Sie dort auch ein Archiologisches Museum, etc besuchen.. auch sehr interessant..

El hotel está lejos del centro de Florencia pero para nosotros estuvo bien porque pudimos dejar siempre el auto en el estacionamiento y en la recepción nos vendieron el boleto del autobús al centro, saliendo del hotel está la parada y el transporte fue muy fácil. La atención en recepción fue muy buena y también la del desayunador, sin embargo las opciones para desayunar en su bufet son muy pocas.

As the prices are very high in Florence these rates for a night are reasonable. But the standard is poor. Rusty parts in the bathroom. You can hear any noise of your neighbours (from sex-life to snoring). Breakfast is good but the breakfastroom reminds to an waitinghall at the trainstation. At Check-out no WiFi connection so nobody could pay their stay by card, only cash possible. Perfect bus-stop in max 100m (line 7 to Florence Station and Fiesole)

This “hotel” was more like a old hospital. The layout was super weird and did not resemble a hotel at all. The rooms were tiny and very basic, beds were extremely uncomfortable and there were no basic ammenities. Not even soap in the bathrooms. The location is around a 20 min bus ride out of the city - it’s a nice area but not close to anything. I really would not recconebd staying here to anyone

This is a great stay on the outside of Florence. Transportation into the city is convenient as there is a bus that takes you into the centre of Florence for €1.70/person. Food variety at breakfast was good and the hotel parking is convenient if you’re travelling by car. Overall had a very comfortable and welcoming stay, and would highly recommend to travellers who want to stay in a quiet area of Florence.

Included breakfast was very good with various options. No fridge in room or ice machines, but staff offered to store food we had with us in their kitchen fridge. Exterior areas and grounds could use some cleaning. Wifi was very slow, unable to watch videos and cell phone reception was very poor in iur room.

I wasn’t interested in staying in the busy city. This hotel Was perfect for my needs. It’s a brief stroll to the No 7 bus which basically stops everywhere you’ll want in the city. In a pinch it’s walkable within 50 mins if you are in shape. The place is spotless and quiet. Situated in the hills. You can do a 7km hike up the mountain to a small village for amazing pizza and views. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Loved the hard boiled eggs and toast. The coffee machine makes everything you can imagine. They sell tickets for the bus at the front and even refunded me for unused tickets I turned in at the end of my trip. One warning: this place like every other place I’ve found in Italy doesn’t actually have laundry facilities onsite. You have to give your laundry to them for service.

The staff at the property were good. Air conditioning is advertised but it was terrible and the room never cooled down even when left on permanently. You can hear everything with adjacent units to the side and above. Beds were terrible (noisy and old mattresses). There is no fridge or any kind of amenities common in a hotel room. The breakfast was okay with pastries and fruit and drinks. Worst stay during our trip across Italy.

I do not understand the previous reviews left about this place. yes it is old villa, exactly like shown in the pictures and description. Why some people expect a 5 star luxury experience i don't know. As per our stay, you cannot compare the price to other location in Florence (similar places charge 2x-3x more! The rooms were clean, air conditioning was old but managed to cool the room in a 35°C Florence. We had a view of Duomo from our room. No safe in the room but they have one in the managers office where we kept our valuables. Breakfast is great, there are boiled eggs, ham, cheese and lots of savory and sweet pastries. If you demand beans on toast, perhaps reconsider your vacation destination. Special thank you to Alex who serves the breakfast, very friendly, nice and helpful to all guests. Receptionists were also really helpful and friendly. Location may seem far but it has its benefits, really quite and calm neighborhood, fresh air and the bus only takes about 20-25 minutes to the center. Highly recommend especially for the listed price compared to alternatives

We loved the premises and the staff! The breakfast was really good and awesome to have. The views are amazing! The only problem we had was that we were in the middle of a heat wave and the ac was out of service! It would have been nice to learn about this before hand.
