Wow.. we have recently returned from a short break in Marrakesh and this Riad was amazing. I booked it based on other reviews and it did not disappoint! The service is so unique and personalised it really does feel like you’re a part of a little family whilst you’re there. You are welcomed with Moroccan tea and biscuits whilst they tell you all about the history of the Riad and any recommendations they have for your stay! The daily breakfast was lovely, everything is handmade by the waitress herself, with the menu being a little different every day. There is a lovely terrace area upstairs where you can dine, sunbathe or watch the view of the beautiful sunrise. When booking taxis for you they will also walk you to the taxi themselves and meet you upon your arrival to ensure you know your way and you’re safe. We couldn’t fault this Riad and we will definitely be recommending this to friends and family!

Nous avons passés un magnifique séjour. Le Palais est vraiment spacieux et tellement reposant, vous pouvez trouver des transats pour bronzer et des terrasses à l’ombre pour lire tranquillement. La cuisine est très bonne. Les chambres sont grandes, les lits immenses et super confortable. Tout le personnel est parfait avec les clients et vraiment très professionnels. Je recommande ce Riad pour des vacances dépaysante et reposante. Merci à vous

Mostly well restored but incomplete regarding functioning amenities: plumbing and lighting could have been better, walls need serious upkeep. Excellent staff, great location in the Medina, beautiful riad.

Très bon riad un peu a l'écart des souk. Le personnel est adorable et a votre service h24, ils repondent à vos besoin. Le cadre est merveilleux du faite que le Riad est un ancien palais, portes berbere et moulure artisanales magnifique. Le jardinier entre autre s'occupe vraiment bien de la vegetation a l'intérieur. 10/10. Le seul point noir est que les clients peuvent vraiment faire ce qu'ils veulent il n'y a pour ainsi dire aucunes règles claire de savoir-vivre. Resultat des courses nous nous sommes faits menacer et insulter par une cliente car nous avons demandé a ce quelle baisse sa musique ( qui se trouvais a 2 metres de notre chambre ) cette meme femme a ainsi pu tranquillement se recurer le corp entier dans la piscine partagée, le personnel lui ayant procuré du savon noir. 1/10 pour les clients suivant qui iront se baigner dans la crasse de madame. Globalement tres bien, nous avons neanmoins du changer d'urgence d'hôtel a cause des menace de mort reçues. Pas de remboursement.

We loved staying at this property for so many reasons. The staff were extremely helpful, welcoming and polite. They helped us throughout our stay in multiple ways and the service was always fantastic. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast. There were so many different foods that we were given and they all tasted really good. The property is so beautiful and really peaceful. The room was a perfect size, clean and included everything that we needed. There were also many different areas to relax in other than our room. We would definitely stay in this property again the next time we come to Marakkesh.

The outdoor space upstairs was beautiful with lots of plants, flowers and birds. My room was quiet, beautifully decorated and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the fish tagine was delicious.

The riad overall is a pretty place to stay and has very welcoming staff. Unfortunately when we (my friend and I) arrived our room wasn‘t cleaned propperly (in the shower was still hair from previous guests, bedsheets and pillowcases with stains and hair on it). After demanding fresh bedsheets they only made the bed and didn‘t actually gave us new/clean bedsheets. We stayed for five nights and they never cleaned our room nor changed our towles. They only „made“ our bed everyday so the room seemed to be clean but it wasn‘t actually. We wouldn‘t recommend their breakfast because the quality was low and it wasn‘t really tasty nor diverse. We stayed in many different riads all around morocco and this one was the priciest but had by far the weakest price-performance ratio. our conclusion: the price isn‘t justified.

Not too far from the parking so the walk from the cab to the riad is only 3 minutes. MAKE SURE TO DOWNLOAD THE MAP OF THE AREA BEFORE GETTING THERE! Not easy to find the first time around and cabs cannot bring you there. The staff was great at giving guidelines for the city and places to visit. Although a bit far from the popular areas, we did enjoy it being in the quiet part of the Medina. The room was very clean and the Riad is very cute and pretty. The free breakfast was also pleasant. Would definitely recommend.

Muito bom o local.equipe de recepção e funcionários excelente, atenciosos e muito educados. O quarto da primeira noite tinha muito barulho externo. No entanto, trocaram de quarto assim que pedimos. A partir da segunda noite já haviam nos transferido para um quarto silencioso. Limpeza excelente

The place is amazing! I love the ambiance, the Moroccan style and decor, and the fresh scent of orange! Clean 👌 which is important. Staff are all very kind, helpful even when it’s busy. They make the time to help and assist in any way possible. I enjoyed every minute of my stay there! Highly highly recommended. 5 star ⭐️

We were treated amazing by Mohamed and the staff. The room was very nice and specious with our own terrace and another large terrace outside our room. It was safe because they always lock the door of the riad. It is located inside the medina but not near the heart of the medina, maybe a 10 to 25 min walk from it which was very walkable. We are grateful for the great service we received from all the staff!

It was safe because they always lock the door of the riad. It is located inside the medina but not near the heart of the medina, maybe a 10 to 25 min walk from it which was very walkable. The room and the Riad was beautiful it was just the authentic experience we were looking for. We had two private patio areas to relax on a morning or evening. Travelling as a group of two Mums with their teenage daughters we were hesitant if Morocco was the right choice for us but had a great time. The riad team kept in touch with us by what’s app and ordered our airport transfers. This was fantastic as we would have struggled to find the road on our own without internet. They came out to meet us and took our bags. We were welcomed with mint tea and they kept the restaurant open late for us so we could eat dinner when our flight was delayed. They helped us with directions, excursions and friendly advice without any pressure. The breakfast was different each day with lots of options. We stayed for three nights and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, the streets outside are very busy but everyone is friendly and will help you if you get directions confused. I used a foreign esim for three days and google maps which worked well. If you are sensitive to noise there is a mosque close by and you can hear the early call to prayer so take some ear plugs however not all of our group heard it. Don’t forget to spend all your local currency before you leave as airport shops don’t accept it only the restaurants ( which also don’t have alcohol )

Er meget skuffet over vores junior-suites , som var mørket og kan høre alt fra gaden! Det er som at sove udenfor ! Personaler er flinke og hjælpsom, men ikke nok at skifte værelset . Stedet er svært at finde, pga. parkering plads er lidt langt ud .

It had the most comfortable beds in Morocco and the whole Ryad is beautiful. The staff are very helpful as well. It is a bit of a hike to the main square but it is a great place to stay

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful riad. If this is the experience you want, rather than a typical tourist hotel, then we highly recommend you stay here. Staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly and our room was lovely. No complaints at all. It really is an oasis in the chaos of the city. The riad is a little way from the hustle & bustle of the main square but we were glad to be well away from it. Note the walk is not long (20 - 25 mins) but you walk through a part of the city where there are less tourists and locals can try to encourage you to walk a certain way so you get lost or confused, and then want to direct you for money. If you know where you are going and stick to that it's fine, although as a couple we didn't want to walk so far at night. It's a city to have your wits about you anyway. There's not a lot to do at night but we liked that - it was so relaxing. We liked being away from TV etc. (WIFI worked ok). This really is a special place. We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful riad. If this is the experience you want, rather than a typical tourist hotel, then we highly recommend you stay here. Staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly and our room was lovely. No complaints at all. It really is an oasis in the chaos of the city. The riad is a little way from the hustle & bustle of the main square but we were glad to be well away from it. Note the walk is not long (20 - 25 mins) but you walk through a part of the city where there are less tourists and locals can try to encourage you to walk a certain way so you get lost or confused, and then want to direct you for money. If you know where you are going and stick to that it's fine, although as a couple we didn't want to walk so far at night. It's a city to have your wits about you anyway. There's not a lot to do at night but we liked that - it was so relaxing. We liked being away from TV etc. (WIFI worked ok). This really is a special place. The outdoor space upstairs was beautiful with lots of plants, flowers and birds. My room was quiet, beautifully decorated and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the fish tagine was delicious.

Well, there are always arguments about hotels, restaurants, etc, although for me, no matter how beautiful it is a place, the staff always make the difference. Very helpful, kind, and reliable. First they had manage to change the day of our reservation so that they did not have a room for us, but this they did not teall us. Then they manage to miss to pick-up my wife from the airport. We did get a room after 45 minutes. Food OK but not more. The place has a certain charm and can be fantastic with the right management. Location is in the North of the old town, where most of the attractions and restaurants are in the south.

Wow.. we have recently returned from a short break in Marrakesh and this Riad was amazing. I booked it based on other reviews and it did not disappoint! The service is so unique and personalised it really does feel like you’re a part of a little family whilst you’re there. You are welcomed with Moroccan tea and biscuits whilst they tell you all about the history of the Riad and any recommendations they have for your stay! The daily breakfast was lovely, everything is handmade by the waitress herself, with the menu being a little different every day. There is a lovely terrace area upstairs where you can dine, sunbathe or watch the view of the beautiful sunrise. When booking taxis for you they will also walk you to the taxi themselves and meet you upon your arrival to ensure you know your way and you’re safe. We couldn’t fault this Riad and we will definitely be recommending this to friends and family!

Very friendly staff. Hamza gave us a warm greeting upon check in and detailed explanation on how to navigate the streets in the Medina which was much appreciated as it was our first time in Marrakech. Recommend using the road’s transport services- reasonably priced and walk us right to the Riad which we would not have figured out upon arrival.

From start to finish, this was the best stay my boyfriend and I have had. We were greeted with mint tea and biscuits from friendly staff who instantly made us feel at home. Inside the riad was nice and quiet and a great place to relax after the hustle and bustle of the busy markets. The location is perfect. It’s in less of a touristy spot, but very close to the markets (about a 20 minute walk). The rooms were clean and the food was delicious! We can’t recommend this place enough. It was the best stay. The staff were the most friendly and helpful. They advised us of areas not to go in the city due to more dangerous activities. They also walked us to a meeting point where we had to meet our bus for one of our day excursions to ensure we got to the right place. Overall, Palais Tinmel exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back!!

Not too far from the parking so the walk from the cab to the riad is only 3 minutes. MAKE SURE TO DOWNLOAD THE MAP OF THE AREA BEFORE GETTING THERE! Not easy to find the first time around and cabs cannot bring you there. The staff was great at giving guidelines for the city and places to visit. Although a bit far from the popular areas, we did enjoy it being in the quiet part of the Medina. The room was very clean and the Riad is very cute and pretty. The free breakfast was also pleasant. Would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay at Palais Tinmel and the staff members were amazing. They were accommodating and friendly, assisting us with transportation and more. The property is also beautiful and we enjoyed our time there. However, be sure to schedule your pickup and drop offs in advance because taxis do not fit in the small streets. We loved staying at this property for so many reasons. The staff were extremely helpful, welcoming and polite. They helped us throughout our stay in multiple ways and the service was always fantastic. The food was delicious, especially the breakfast. There were so many different foods that we were given and they all tasted really good. The property is so beautiful and really peaceful. The room was a perfect size, clean and included everything that we needed. There were also many different areas to relax in other than our room. We would definitely stay in this property again the next time we come to Marakkesh.

The room and the Riad was beautiful it was just the authentic experience we were looking for. We had two private patio areas to relax on a morning or evening. Travelling as a group of two Mums with their teenage daughters we were hesitant if Morocco was the right choice for us but had a great time. The riad team kept in touch with us by what’s app and ordered our airport transfers. This was fantastic as we would have struggled to find the road on our own without internet. They came out to meet us and took our bags. We were welcomed with mint tea and they kept the restaurant open late for us so we could eat dinner when our flight was delayed. They helped us with directions, excursions and friendly advice without any pressure. The breakfast was different each day with lots of options. We stayed for three nights and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, the streets outside are very busy but everyone is friendly and will help you if you get directions confused. I used a foreign esim for three days and google maps which worked well. If you are sensitive to noise there is a mosque close by and you can hear the early call to prayer so take some ear plugs however not all of our group heard it. Don’t forget to spend all your local currency before you leave as airport shops don’t accept it only the restaurants ( which also don’t have alcohol )

My wife and I are going back to Marrakech soon and Palais Tinmel will be our spot.

The proprietor was fabulous. Took the time to welcome us with tea and cookies, and showed us a map and the highlights of old town. Went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Very cute hotel with a great breakfast included and a wonderful dinner one of the nights. Felt very clean. The hotel is in the north part of old town and it’s very confusing to find. Felt a little unsafe in old town in general, but nothing to do with this place as it had a locked door.

We were treated amazing by Mohamed and the staff. The room was very nice and specious with our own terrace and another large terrace outside our room. It was safe because they always lock the door of the riad. It is located inside the medina but not near the heart of the medina, maybe a 10 to 25 min walk from it which was very walkable. We are grateful for the great service we received from all the staff!

Struttura fantastica. Personale molto efficiente e disponibile su tutto. Cucina ottima. L'unica pecca e' che per raggiungrere le principali attrazioni occorrono 30minuti a piedi (ma e' indicato nella descrizione).

Very charming property, the only thing was really hard to get to and taxi drivers were not able to locate it with just reading the address. I would really recommend it but with proper instructions about arrival!

Beautiful place in the north end of the Medina. Getting around did mean a lot of walking in the narrow, often crowded streets. Room was clean, quaint and pleasant. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Really nice place to stay, everyone working at the Riad is so friendly and kind. Took the time to explain aspects of morrocan life and food. Had dinner at the Riad one night which was the best food we had in Marrakech (much better then the expensive restaurants in the centre of Medina). Location is very quiet but felt safe. About 20-30 minute walk to the centre of old Medina and the way back to the Riad is well lit with lots of people about even late at night so felt safe to walk back. If you want a taxi there is a car park/main road about five minutes walk away. This Riad is also close tp the new town if you want to see the more modern side of Marrakech.

Overall staff was helpful. Breakfast was poor (no orange juice was offered initially. After we asked, we had manufactured juice not fresh natural juice. The bread and pancakes are below average. The facility is great and many improvements can be made easily.
Overall staff was helpful. Breakfast was poor (no orange juice was offered initially. After we asked, we had manufactured juice not fresh natural juice. The bread and pancakes are below average. The facility is great and many improvements can be made easily.

Palais Tinmel is a quiet, relaxing haven in the midst of an energetic city. We stayed in the "family suite," a large room with a private balcony. The room felt private and romantic, and we awoke to birdsong in the morning. The staff was kind and spoke excellent English. We are vegan and they had no trouble accommodating our diet for breakfast and dinner. We would return again.

The outdoor space upstairs was beautiful with lots of plants, flowers and birds. My room was quiet, beautifully decorated and the bed was comfortable. The staff were very helpful and the fish tagine was delicious.

Street was noisy at times but generally okay. Food was bland so we ate out a lot. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The riad was beautiful with lots of seating options. In all a very good experience

The hotel was nice and staff were very nice and helpful, this hotel is excellent for a couple but not for family with kids. We spent an hour and half to find the hotel. The parking lot is too far and the road from there to the hotel is not safe after 22:00 hrs. If you intend to book there you must first contact the hotel for airport pickup

This is a tranquil oasis in the middle of Marrakech chaos. A very old, traditional property with patios, gardens and multiple sitting areas that has been very well-maintained. What makes the experience special is the helpful, accommodating staff with excellent advice for restaurants and what to see. Noella was the star of this team. The food is very good but the restaurant is not licensed for alcohol, though bring-in may be an option. The breakfast is very good with omelette available to complement fresh juice, fruit and Moroccan bread goods. We had oriignally booked for 5 days, but extended to 6.

There is a chance that you may not get the exact room shown in the photos. The most important thing to know about this hotel is its location. It is considered to be central, but the streets of Marrakech are narrow and require a lot of walking. Because of this, the hotel is not actually as central as it seems. It is about a 15-minute walking distance, but since you can’t walk directly and have to navigate through the streets, it usually takes around 20–25 minutes. É um hotel antigo é histórico, muito bonito, mas algumas coisas precisam ser melhoradas, por exemplo, no quarto em que fique (9) o banheiro ficava úmido demais e o chuveiro não jorrava água adequadamente. O quarto em si era bom com uma cama confortável. O cafe da manhã é servido como um menu tradicional que muda durante os dias, as áreas comuns são lindas e muito aconchegante e a equipe é muito atenciosa. Infelizmente a localização deixa a desejar, achei muito afastado de tudo, você acaba muito dependente de táxi e perde tempo se deslocando.

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la propreté irréprochable des lieux ainsi que la qualité des services rendus tout au long de notre séjour. Pour celles et ceux qui auront la chance de s’y rendre, nous recommandons vivement l’excursion proposé au riad à ne surtout pas rater : la magnifique Vallée d’Ourika.
