This is a lovely hotel with separate rooms from the pub. The dinners and breakfasts were excellent as was the service. Yealmpton is conveniently located on the A379 although with my room being on the ground floor I had to keep the curtain closed and it was a little noisy at commuter time. The room however was large and very comfortable with access to outside patio spce

Really nice place, rooms in a separate building to the pub, well presented and very clean. Loads of free parking, generous nicely cooked breakfast, friendly, helpful staff team. Location is great for getting to local attractions, beaches etc.

We arrived late so did not eat at the pub. Parking was safe and convenient. The accomodation is in a converted property next to the pub. We had Room #5 which was small and noisy because it faced the road. The bed was a really small double. The bathroom was also very small. Traffic noise started at 6am. Other rooms were larger with bigger beds and some were not facing the road. There was good choice of cooked food for breakfast though the 'continental' selection was not up to much. Poached eggs were overdone. Overall, we were disappointed given the excellent reviews by other customers.

Everything was spotlessly clean and the room had all we needed. Breakfast was from a great selection and we checked out without issue. Fantastic.

Lovely staff particularly Alice. Friday evening had to book table as a very popular restaurant - if a little pricey - the main of a small fish pie £19. Very comfortable bed and good size room. But no heating on either night of our stay, and it was very cold on Saturday night so after raising the issue with staff - extra blankets and heater provided, and fresh towels as towel rail not working either.

Excellent value for money. Nicely appointed room with everything you need and the pub has an excellent choice of both food and drinks. The draught ales were all excellent. As the rooms are in a separate building from the pub the accomodation was very quiet at all times. Overall a really excellent stay

Rooms were spotless, well equipped and fittings were of a high standard. Had an evening meal in the pub, which was fine although a little more choice would be good. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Staff were helpful and attentive throughout. 20 minute drive into Plymouth. Recommended for a weekend stay.

Very cosy pub with delicious food. The room was big, comfy and immaculately clean. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Really good value too. Would definitely stay there again if visiting Plymouth.

Excellent experience from check in to check out. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was made from quality ingredients and cooked perfectly in accordance with my specific requests. Room was clean and of an adequate size. I had intended to stay elsewhere but a significant price increase just before I was ready to book caused me to look for an alternative. I found this reasonably price establishment which turned out to be a gem so I was well chuffed with the outcome.

Excellent, friendly, helpful staff and good food. Room furnishings lovely - however room was very noisy from road, plumbing noise very time other rooms used water. Windows faced onto pavement but no screening for privacy. We did have a lovely breakfast regardless of lack of sleep.

This is a lovely hotel with separate rooms from the pub. The dinners and breakfasts were excellent as was the service. Yealmpton is conveniently located on the A379 although with my room being on the ground floor I had to keep the curtain closed and it was a little noisy at commuter time. The room however was large and very comfortable with access to outside patio spce

We didn't make it in time to try the restaurant, but the menu looked great, as was the St Austell beer. We received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our rooms in the annex next door. Everything was spotlessly clean and the room had all we needed. Breakfast was from a great selection and we checked out without issue. Fantastic.

Rooms were spotless, well equipped and fittings were of a high standard. Had an evening meal in the pub, which was fine although a little more choice would be good. Excellent breakfast in the morning. Staff were helpful and attentive throughout. 20 minute drive into Plymouth. Recommended for a weekend stay.

Lovely staff particularly Alice. Friday evening had to book table as a very popular restaurant - if a little pricey - the main of a small fish pie £19. Very comfortable bed and good size room. But no heating on either night of our stay, and it was very cold on Saturday night so after raising the issue with staff - extra blankets and heater provided, and fresh towels as towel rail not working either.

We stayed for one night. Lovely room ,v v comfortable bed. Great food in The pub and a lovely full English breakfast. Staff were super friendly. Will definitely come back. Oh and great price too

Staff so lovely. Room needing a bit of up dating. But provided everything we needed and more. Shame the car park was was full and parking was then hard to fine, then a long walk with luggage and 3 children. But we coped
