Late check in is available, abundant parking is available and things are clean. The facilities are run down but overall that problem is isolated to the outside and not inside the room. The staff who checked us in was helpful and polite, and we're sad that we couldn't enjoy the breakfast because our flight was very early.

A beautiful and peaceful spot to stay the night. To sit beside the terrace looking out over the Thames was very special. Room was largeand all we needed for a one night stop while walking the Thames Path. Glad we could also get dinner as not a lot of eating places around the area.

Pleasantly located hotel on a quiet backwater of the Thames with convenient parking. Bar and restaurant serving dinner with good selection of meals and full cooked breakfast. Functional room with all necessary amenities. The floors were a bit creaky with a little noise from other rooms but not a big issue and very comfortable bed.

Having read mixed reviews I was a little unsure, but the location of the Warren Lodge Hotel is lovely, the building although on the older side, has good sized rooms and is nice and quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. My only negative is the parking, as even with the Anchor and Kings Head next door closed, trying to find parking if you are late back to the hotel is a struggle, and even when arriving early and finding a parking, I then found I was parked in.

Lovely hotel doesn’t show its true lovely location on its site it’s literally on the Thames a beauty spot our room overlooked the river and garden. It was quite and had a good night sleep Our breakfast full English gluten free great Although a few staff they were helpful Would stay again ☺️

Great out of the way location for those visiting London. When it's hot outside the rooms can get hot inside with no AC. So, ask for a fan.

There was an initial mix-up with my booking which was quickly sorted out. The location is superb for walking. Not many good local dining options within walkable distance but the hotel restaurant has a good range in the menu. The cooked breakfasts were very nice.

Fantastic location with amazing view over the river. It was lovely to be able to sit outside with a nice cold pint watching the world go by.

The room was clean, tidy and had everything that we needed for a 1 night stay, the bed was comfy too! For the price I paid, the accomodation was definitely acceptable. I was slightly disappointed with the breakfast. For the price I did expect a little more than one of each, considering my daughter only ordered a few items. Two sausages wouldn't have gone a miss, but I guess we didn't ask so didn't get! Apart from that everything was great. Great location, close to thorpe park which is why we were in the area. Staff were friendly. Check-in was quick.

Squashed bugs on walls/tiles of bathroom and bedroom, toilet barely flushed, even after issue was mentioned, insects in room every day despite keeping windows shut all week. Wouldn't stay again, though lovely area !!!!!

Hotel is a bit dated but room was very clean, bathroom spotless and beds very comfy. Good value for what was paid.

So great views if your up high and the bar area is nice. My room 78 was very dirty, it was a family room and there was a lid to a dairy Lee dunkers pot that had been left from previous occupants the skirt and boards had stains and coffee splashes on them I actually wiped the door handle inside and out because I couldn't bear to go in and touch it. I'm not an overtly clean version but it was grimy. The bathroom was clean and tidy and basic well stocked with shampoos, body washes and nice clean towels. Bits and bobs of mould on the ceiling and part of the side of the bath had been affected by damp and was flaking off. The carpets were stained in the bedroom but also at the top of the three flights of stairs to get there there was an enormous stain on the first landing which just led to the feeling of ick. This obviously once was a lovely hotel but the general area feels run down as this to ordered up pubs next door and it just generally looks like it needs some TLC. As a positive the breakfast was really nice and the dining room to have the breakfast in was really atmospheric and beautiful. The staff at all points and time were really helpful and attentive.

The bathroom was clean but the walls in the room were covered with brownish stains. The room will do with thorough cleaning of the walls.

Upon arrival, there was no parking. The bathroom was unclean and toilet unflushed. The grime around the bath was unpleasant. I would not stay again unfortunately.

Lovely old hotel by the river. I work nearby so just needed somewhere to sleep. The single room and bed where both a decent size. Mattress was very firm. The hotel was really quiet and parking was easy, so no complaints. Will definitely stay again

Nothing is clean properly The blinds are full Of dust and are broken The carpet had a massive bleach stain on it that was HALF covered by a old shabby Matt , curtains were filthy ripped and frayed food is fine ONLY of you have a burger other wise the food was not nice at all Staff are kind helpful and there is always plenty of guest parking space . It’s a beautiful place Outaide , so it makes up for it. The lake the boat the club the wild life sucks etc it’s just perfect for a lovely couple nights work break Take care xxxx L. Warren

Shocking. A Hi De Hi holiday camp would be 5 star in comparison. Bathroom was a nightmare, toilet wouldn’t flush. The bedding had blood stains, the windows didn’t close so felt unsafe as you could get access to the room via them. And to top it off the blind fell off so had light coming at 4.30 am

Location - good. Convenient and quite easy to access. Staff - sparse, but friendly and polite. Facilities - main house was good, but the room itself was a bit rough. Door lock barely functioned and had clearly been forced open more than once. Chain was missing from door. Shower was a trickle. Room wasn't filthy, but far from immaculate. Fine for one night, but that was about it. We didn't even use the shower it was so poor.

The room was good for what we wanted it for. The bed was big and comfortable. The hair dryer did stop working but the guy on receptionist was ever so apologetic. The only thing I had any issues with was that it took awhile for the hot water to come through when I had a shower.

Cheap and cheerful chalet- style rooms right beside the river. Decor a little tired and dated but perfectly adequate for an overnight stay ahead of an early Heathrow departure.

We had a lovely room with a river view and small balcony. Quite a bright room and noisy early in the morning so maybe bring ear plugs/ eye mask.

No handle for hot water and hairs in the bath. The kettle didn't work so I was moved to another room adjacent the building. The room had river view. Two long windows at the top, none of them could close, one of the handles was broken but the curtain was thick and there was a big radiator so I didn't bother again to complain. Extremely dirty around the windows. I could hear all what a woman was talking in the next room. Paper thin walls. Full english breakfast was good. Saturday morning the bread was a bit dried as it would have been in the basket for long time but as I put it in the toaster I didn't ask for another one. On Sunday the bread looked fresher. I can not recommend this hotel to anyone. Next time I definitely will spend a little bit more of money and not trying to save in a cheap hotel.Staff was fine and the cleaning lady was very nice and friendly. You get what you pay! Good luck!

Nice hotel in a lovely location. Decor was a bit tired in places but couldn’t fault the cleanliness. Booked 2 nights and paid extra for a room with a river view. Unfortunately due to shrubbery, we couldn’t actually see the river. However, the room (52) was very spacious with a large lounge and separate bedroom with a very comfortable king size bed. The carpet is a bit grotty but it was lovely to step out of the patio door straight into the lovely garden area. We had a very nice evening meal on the first night and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. We would stay here again but not pay the extra for breakfast as it was very pricey for what we got. A special mention goes out to James who was extremely helpful and friendly.

I was in the annex rooms upstairs. The guy in the room beside me was on his phone on hands free from 12:30pm until 1:30am and I could hear his full conversation with his wife. The walls are just too thin. I could hear him going to the toilet at night also. - Try to get a room inside the actual hotel would be my advice.

In serious need of refurbishment. Walls between rooms very thin so noise an issue.

I was staying in room 33 in an annex which overlooked the river Thames. Room was too hot but the thermostat was broken so I couldn't turn the heat down and had to leave the window open.Very expensive and wasteful of energy. The blinds/curtains need renewing and there were dark stain on the carpet.Only two sockets. All a bit dated.

Lovely view . Staff was friendly Only downside was patio door was very hard to open , room was very warm and no fan or air con , could hear everything the people in the next room was saying and doing

I have had the most awful experience that l have ever had at this hotel. On day two of my stay l was told to leave because my dog had entered the room to have a drink of water despite your listing stating clearly that service dogs are allowed which he is. The manager harrassed me relentlessly and repeatedly refused to tell me why l was being told to leave when according to the listing my dog was allowed to be there. This was so intense that it brought on a panic attack and l had to call my son from work to come immediately to assist me with my attack. I have now received a message via your booking site stating that l am barred from staying there. This is nothing less than blatant discrimination !!

We had a fire alarm go off at 4am. Fortunately this was a false alarm as the night manager had no idea what to do. He was running around the guests saying that he hadn't been trained to deal with the situation. Another staff member was on the phone trying to find out how to turn off the alarm. The alarm was going for 45 minutes. It went off around 6.30 again,thankfully for only a short time. The general manager didn't bother to turn up at all over the weekend. We were told the area which triggered the alarm was fine and it was a false alarm on the Saturday morning, however when we checked out we were then told it was a guest smoking in a bedroom. Obviously just an excuse. I will be reporting this to the Fire Safety Officer for the area.

In photos the hotel looked quite pretty, unfortunately it was let down by the following. Reception has high desk & you look over & down to receptionist. She finished her previous task in silence, head down - remained head down & seated whilst asking if we had a booking & our name Pointed to where we should be signing & just about saw her face whilst she directed us to go left, upstairs to the top. She very quietly bid us good day whilst remaining seated. It was in the middle of the heat wave, our room was the attic room, suffocatingly hot despite windows being open. No air conditioning but I would have thought a fan would have been put in the room knowing weather conditions (our onward hotel provided pedestal fans in their rooms without requesting). This room was in need of decoration, white yet grey walls, stained carpet that looked like a bleach spot from cleaning of ?? Before our evening meal, we sat outside on the edge of the river opposite a small sailing club. This was very peaceful, picturesque. On going back into the hotel we walked around to what in the online pictures looks a lovely veranda with white tables & chairs. I went to sit on a seat to overlook the river but the chair was full of cobwebs. There was another patio with wooden tables & chairs which was ok. We decided to sit inside to eat. The food was ok thankfully. Outside the hotel is short on parking (we warrived about 5pm yet by 7pm they were full.) The village itself is pretty, quaint & quiet

This hotel is in such a picturesque area and I always love staying here. The staff are lovely, friendly and go out of their way to look after the guests. The Warren Lodge is a gem. Don’t overlook it! ❤️

On the whole, it is what I paid for. Disappointing that other pubs (owned by same group) had closed not offering convenient alternate dining. Strange that it was not possible for staff to change barrels. Once updated, I’m sure it will return to a higher rated property. Some staff more helpful than others. Would like to have had a plug for the sink in order to block mould smell from pipes.

Location good. Hotel very tired looking. Needs refurbishing. More staff needed. Bedroom freezing cold at night. No heating.

At 9:16 in the morning, staff knocked my door and asked to check out. Then asked further: “when you check out?” I thought I was packing and nearly done (I left around 9:40), but having stayed so many over 200 hotels, this is the first time I have the stars knock on the door ask to check out, at 9:16am.

Great service given that only 2 people were shouldering all of customer service. Front desk/ bar service excellent. The girl on breakfast service was rushed off her feet, but provided great service. The room was comfortable ( in need of a little TLC) ,the bed & linens good.

Property is old and a bit dated but in the lovely village of Shepperton with beautiful walks along the Thames. Some good restaurants and coffee shops

Good value for money in a building that requires investment. Most things are looking a little past their best. Friendly staff. Located within walking distance of the train station 15minutes walk

Nice being by the river and a short walk into Shepperton village. We didn't eat at the hotel, so we cannot comment on the food. The room was ok, but a little tired. The bathroom definitely needed updating.

We've stayed at this hotel several times now and have never been disappointed. All the rooms we have been allocated have overlooked the river and one has a lovely balcony. Service has always been very good with the staff being friendly and helpful. Breakfast has plenty of choice and the cooked breakfasts are fresh and tasty. We have also had a couple of meals, again, these have been very nice. Never had a problem parking the car in the hotels allocated spaces. Overall i think this hotel offers excellent value for money.

The property is stunning, yes some of it may need updating on looks. But I love the old style cosy feel it has, I was lucky enough to have a stunning view from my bedroom of the river, and having that balcony area to sit by the lake in lovely. The only thing is I didn’t sleep well but thats because it’s near the airport so can hear planes and noises from other rooms, which can’t be helped. The food was very nice too I had dinner and breakfast, I would highly recommend, I would come back.

Breakfast was terrible as was the service, I didn’t attempt evening meal but can only imagine!!

The dinner was very disappointing both in terms of substance and presentation. Breakfast was fine. The TV didn't work properly in the room. Bags of laundry were left on the landing during the evening and overnight. The room was clean and the bed comfortable however. All a little dated and needs a facelift with a little more attention to detail.

Room nicely decorated, comfortable beds, but patio door lock not secure, and shower would be better if more powerful. Dinner was really great, breakfast we OK but coffee definitely far too strong to the point of being undrinkable.

Accommodation was good! The food in their Restaurant was absolutely disgraceful my husband ended up violently ill from what was supposed to be a chicken pie.. my meal wasn’t off but I most certainly would never recommend it! Anyone planning a stay there I would suggest having a meal out at another venue before you get to the hotel!!

Good sized room, comfy bed, river view, close to local.shops, shower curtain dirty, kettle lid pops open when boiling-safety hazard! No communications with staff other than check in which was fast but not the most welcoming, 'how was your journey' 'come far?' Customer service make your customers feel welcomed. But otherwise nice hotel would stay again
