The hotel facilities are good, and the staff is very helpful. A problem is that the hotel shuttle from and to the airport does not run in two time periods of the day. For our flight time, no shuttle was available. We had to take a taxi to the airport, which was arranged by front desk staff — and the taxi fare charged was unreasonably high.

Beautiful place with a great breakfast. The rooms were large and functional. Staff was visible at all hours and were very friendly. But if you need the airport shuttle: It was a minivan. After waiting the van filled up again with people who had just arrived; it took over an hour to get to the hotel. On the wait out of town the shuttle was on break outside of their posted schedule. The 7 minute drive was €30 in an Uber as we didn’t want to risk it. Timeliness and efficiency was why we chose an airport hotel versus something in town.

This is a very well kept up hotel near the airport. Modern and clean! There is a free shuttle to airport and back. The rooms are spacious and the amenities are good. The shower is great and hot and the bed was comfortable. They have a nice restaurant with a good variety as well as a full bar with all your favorites.

Everything about the facility is just fine except for one kind of important thing for travelers, hence 3 stars instead of more, if anybody cares. There are at least two glaring holes in the shuttle schedule, which happen to occur at peak travel times, that you won't find out about until there is no shuttle for at least an hour. No other airport hotel in Amsterdam seems to have this issue. So if you plan to shuttle here from the airport you really ought to directly contact the hotel to get an accurate shuttle schedule and hope that delays don't put you right into those holes. An unhappy cab driver can take you there, its not more than a mile or two, but the cost is nearly 40 Euros.

Very comfortable and good for an overnight transit stay. Only drawback was hotel shuttle which was supposed to operate every 30min but was on a 1 hr 'break' when I needed it in the evening. I only found this out by ringing the hotel. There was no prior info on this and the hotel does not have its shuttle info up on the notice board at the bus stop where all the other hotels do. So I stood in the cold wondering what was going on and in the end caught a taxi.

Hotel is sparkling clean and spacious. Sound proof is very good and I barely heard anything even the hotel was fully booked. Food quality is outstanding which surprised me. Definitely a great choice to stay!

Checked in around 6pm, staff was pleasant. Got to the room, very basic. Toilet already had a tissue in before we could use it. We could have dealt with that then there was the shower. Tiles had mold, floor was dirty and took a while to take a shower. Accidentally soiled the bed and guess what? Housekeeping never changed the sheets or at least flip it. No bathrobe, slippers or even a welcome water. Very disappointed. Unfortunately, I can’t download the pics I took

We decided to stay near the airport in a hotel with a shuttle. It was convenient for us, although an early morning flight was pre-shuttle hours. Check-in was slow, but check-out was rapid. The restaurant is quite okay for an airport hotel. The room was well appointed and clean. The big disappointment was a shower black with mold. Both reception and management apologized for this, and offered to shift rooms, but for such a short stay we decided to stick it out.

This hotel is not centrally located. You have to take a shuttle, which, thankfully, the hotel provides, to the train station and then a train to the Central city to have fun, so beware of that also there was mold in the shower. The property knew about it. The receptionist said they knew about it but basically they were too busy to fix it and they seem to have a mold problem because they know they had to take care of it but they just don’t have time to take care of it. It's pretty disgusting, unsanitary and hazardous.

This hotel is not centrally located. Caron would not check me in until 3 pm sharp on Saturday. The shower floor was moldy. Must take the shuttle to get to airport. A shuttle driver drove against the lane direction to take a shortcut to the airport on Sunday. The restaurant at the hotel was closed on Saturday. On the upside, the gentleman attending at the bar on Saturday was very polite and efficient and the other staff members at the check-in desk on Saturday were very helpful and polite. I enjoyed the sheep’s on the backyard as well as the horses nearby. The facilities are nice and the way in on the shuttle on Saturday was nice and relaxing.

we checked in at 11:00pm at night. Front desk person was very friendly and informative. Our room was clean and welcoming. Only complaint was trying to order from the "Night Menu" using the TV as instructed. The menu was there but no way to order remotely. We called room service but was put on hold. My husband eventually hung up and went downstairs to buy two tiny cans of Pringles potato chips from hotel grab-and-go. Otherwise everything was great. Airport shuttle is a big bonus! It is why we booked this property.

Pro’s - fantastic shuttle to and from Schiphol. Rooms are really nice, hotel facilities look great but we did not dine or drink there and left too early for breakfast. Con’s - we accept we may have been unlucky but to have a family room with four staying and broken air con was not feasible. It took over two hours to eventually agree it couldn’t be sorted ‘out back’, nor would I accept a fan and discount to stay in the bedroom oven. It was agreed that we could have two alternative rooms for us to share as there was no further family rooms available. Whilst the resolution was acceptable, this having to take place at after midnight, with kids, wasn’t exactly ideal. We had a 0500 start for the first shuttle bus so all were not in any way well rested for the next days travel.

Paid premium to get a corner suite with a good view of greenery. However I got a horrible view of the building roof. And whatever I could see was mainly the road adjacent to the hotel. Even during check-in I reiterated and the front desk confirmed the view of that of the barn, however to my utter surprise it turned out to be a blatant lie. I went back to the front desk and asked for a change (also asked them I am ok to downgrade the room size for a better view). However they were fully booked so I ended up staying at one of their worst rooms while paying the highest for it. Really dissapointing and for sure me or anyone from my company will NEVER go back to this place again.

nice hotel, good rooms, however the TV was not working very well.. signal fell away every couple of minutes. Tried to cast but that did not work. They offered and new room but similar issue.. they have to improve that part.. for the rest nice stay in a new, fairly new hotel.

Overall a quick layover hotel is okay but very stuffy inside. Jail like exterior and no balconies for fresh air. The worst part is that we sweated all night and the AC was controlled by reception so we had to call multiple times to lower the temperature in our room so we can sleep. Never heard of hotel controlling the temp in room that we are paying and staying in. Sad stay overall

We boekte een kamer met gehandicapten toegang. Dit gaf een kamer met 2 badkamers waarvan 1 voor gehandicapten. Echter daardoor was de slaapkamer zo klein dat er geen mogelijkheid was om de rolstoel naast het bed te plaatsen. Ook was de toilet stoel zo laag dat en invalide persoon niet meer overeind kon komen. Helaas was een andere kamer niet mogelijk.

We boekte een kamer met gehandicapten toegang. Dit gaf een kamer met 2 badkamers waarvan 1 voor gehandicapten. I’ve stayed at this hotel many time, staff are warm and welcoming. Hotel has a sense of style, it’s clean. Its gluten-free ans allergy offers have serious room for improvement. But overall the staff make up for the shortfall in offering, not stuffy or pompous as in many other hotels.

Room was good, very nice. The staff specifically the reception staff were the best I’ve ever worked with. Kind, courteous, and went above and way beyond to advise me on activities to do for my first trip Amsterdam. Will stay again because of the reception staff!!!

Amazing high quality rooms. But the hotel employees are very arrogant and passive aggressive and if you politely try ask for help regarding issues with the rooms the employees will belittle you and harass you and bully you to embarrass you in front of other people. Really horrible employees but the rooms are still amazing if you can handle the rude staff.

Made reservation with Expedia. The Hotel sent me an e mail saying they rebooked me at a budget hotel-it was last minute and had to take it. Did not offer me a refund even though the hotel room was half the price of what we paid at this original hotel. Expedia did refund me a portion and said it was my fault for negotiating directly with the hotel when they rebooked us. Didn’t know I had a choice and why didn’t the hotel contact Expedia, and they should have contacted me. I am guessing they bumped us because we booked through Expedia and didn’t care. No contact or response back from Marriott regarding the situation- contacted the Marriott rep. who originally sent the e mail telling me they rebooked us-no response.

Stayed for a missed flight. Great checkin. With no luggage, we were provided with a dental kit. We had to leave before breakfast and we were provided with a box breakfast which was waiting for us at checkout. Fabulous experience.

check in was a nightmare, took 40mins with the q which is a shame as after this the stay was really nice Another annoyance is that the shuttle bus to the airport is every 20-25 mins so you have no clue if you need to wait 5mins or 25mins as the reception team do not keep tabs on what time the bus last left

Convenient airport shuttle is free. The property is only about a 7min shuttle from Schiphol Airport but the setting is quiet and serene. Comfortable rooms. Easy check and out. Dining was a bit underwhelming at the mid afternoon hour. Would very happily stay here again.

Airport property that is a bit further from the airport than I expected. With that said, shuttle service worked great and rooms were clean/quiet/easy. Minus the distance (which is more my fault), was a great stay.

Shuttle from the airport was very convenient, but if you plan on going into Amsterdam it’s at least a 30 minute Uber or Taxi ride and very expensive. There isn’t anyone to help with luggage. We are traveling with my 80 year old Mother and my two Aunt’s so my husband had to take care of all our luggage. Not what we’d expect from a Marriott Brand Hotel. There is absolutely nothing around the Hotel so you are stuck eating in their restaurant and when we were here it was absolutely understaffed!!!! We ended up writing out our own order on a piece of paper and taking it to the bar to be ordered. There was another couple that said they had eaten there the night before and they didn’t think the service could be any worse, but they were wrong it was just as bad. Once we got our meal some had to be sent back because it was cold. On the plus side our room was very clean and most rooms are very close to the elevator.

This hotel is located near the airport, a park and highways. It, however, is not located near any sightseeing, shopping or restaurants other than the ones in the hotel. My mistake completely. I mistook how large Amsterdam was when I booked this trip as it was our first time in The Netherlands. So, we used Uber daily. And FYI if you want to go from the hotel to Centraal expect to pay about $30-$40 each way. Our stay at the hotel was great. When traveling abroad the language barrier is very real and we were very grateful that the staff that helped us spoke English. The hotel was beautiful and very clean. My daughter and I enjoyed watching the sheep outside our windows munching on the grass. We loved our stay there. The only negative comment I have is that we found the beds to be too hard for our liking, but that is personal preference.

Unfortunately, the restaurant only serves a buffet for breakfast at an obscene cost that is not worth it! Plus, only the dining room for dinner was open in a small quadrant and couldn't accommodate 6 people, but the lounge staff (one bartender who was wonderful) stepped up to the challenge!! Very disappointing for a Marriott property.

Upon arrival we were told that the restaurant was open for dinner. When we came down for dinner, we were told that it was closed on Fridays and by that time it was too late to make other arrangements. Had been looking forward to a lovely meal on our last evening in Amsterdam. Had bar grub instead. The room however was lovely.

My flight got cancelled and I stayed my first night here because the flight company made the room available to me. As the next flight to my target location was on the morning of the second day from the cancellation, I preferred to remain in the same hotel as it was very comfortable and well maintained. The shuttle bus runs every 30 minutes from and to the airport so it is quite convenient. Price of the beer on the bar is slightly overpriced.
