The staff were very welcoming. Room was well designed. We had a room overlooking the river which was good. Location excellent in the old town. Restaurant food very good and wise choice for breakfast. We had reserved a parking place which was an easy walk of 10 minutes away.

The Hotel is in an ideal location is the big plus. Very disappointed in our arrival arrangements. Our reservation advised us to call before we arrived to get parking instructions and transport to the hotel instructions. The instructions to the parking facility were incomplete as to exactly where in the Mercsnte garage we were allowed to park. The reservation clerk we called was a “bit” impatient and was very rude and unhelpful about how we would get to the hotel. We had never been to Lubijiana before so didn’t understand the “Hotel Shurrle” service. We thought she was sending your own shuttle. We had not been advised about the shuttle’s that should be hailed. We ended up taking a cab and when we are the receptionists rude about our confusion. Better communication on our confirmation would have helped.

She works in the front desk in the evenings. -there is no coffee/tea or even hot water in the room -even though the location is very good. It’s covered with big drapes. -I wouldn’t consider this as a 4 star hotel.

We enjoyed the hotel. It was comfortable and the staff were very friendly. We didn’t realize that we could not pull up to the hotel to unload our luggage and had to park in a parking garage several blocks away, but when we talked to the staff, they made sure a cart met us at the parking garage.

Everything for our stay was wonderful! Breakfast was fantastic, the only issue was that the shower head did not work in our shower when we pressed the button. We had warm water through the wand, but nothing came out of the rain shower head above. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality….the elevator was such a lovely perk. And this hotel is so convenient to everything.

This property also had a glass elevator, great for older clients and a really good restaurant . The staff was really great . Problem outdoor signage does not say it’s a hotel , so was hard to find .

The Hotel Ljubljana is in a great location right in the heart of the old town next to the river. The pale (why?) carpet in our room was pretty badly stained and there wasn’t much storage space. Only 5 coat hangers which is fine for a long weekend but not enough for a longer trip. More were provided when we asked for them though.

This is a very nice hotel. The location is excellent and the breakfast which was included was fantastic. The only issue we had was the light switch for the bathroom was broken and they couldn’t fix it so we had limited light in the bathroom

The good: location is absolutely excellent, right in the Old Town at the Cobbler's Bridge. The service was excellent. The room and everything was spotless clean. The not-so-good: The room (503 private terrace) was very small. As in you have to crabwalk to get anywhere within the room. There was barely adequate AC. Even in May, it was fairly warm, probably accentuated by being a top floor room.

The good: location is absolutely excellent, right in the Old Town at the Cobbler's Bridge. The service was excellent. The room and everything was spotless clean. The not-so-good: The room (503 private terrace) was very small. As in you have to crabwalk to get anywhere within the room. There was barely adequate AC. Even in May, it was fairly warm, probably accentuated by being a top floor room.

This lovely renovated hotel is right in the center of the old town and a 5-minute walk from everything! Some rooms have a beautiful view of the castle. The on-site restaurant was delicious. The rooms are compact but very nice.

We had one of the smaller rooms with no window. It was a little small for 2 adults with 2 bags , but we managed. A/c was quiet, bed comfy. Great location. Most breakfast options good, though avocado not ripe snd eggs tended to be overcooked. Would recommend

The rooms are small but clean and efficient. Good shower with pressure and the bed is very comfortable. We stayed 2 nights in 405 The windows have curtains but because of the angle the drape hangs in a way that lets light in.. bring a sleep mask if you like darkness. The hotel is well situated in the old town, a very walkable and busy area with shops and restaurants. They only have one coffee machine so every morning there was cue. We ate dinner there one night, pricey for the offering and staff was aloof… would stay again, but eat elsewhere.

Small, dark windowless room (but I picked the cheapest room available). Modern bathroom, nice shower. Couldn’t seem to control the air conditioning so the room was a bit too hot even with cool, rainy weather. Staff efficient, but not particularly friendly with the exception of the girl who check us out. Nice breakfast, but limited.

We loved this hotel right on the river the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful everybody acknowledged us whenever we entered or left the hotel. Thd breakfast was excellent. We checked in late in the evening and had an early trip the next day but they went above and beyond by preparing breakfast boxes and coffee for us in the morning

I was there for 5 nights and it was a great stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. I try to pick a good location and since I wasn't familiar with the city, I did my best. I chose well - the hotel was close to the castle and several parks. There was a huge variety of places to eat or relax in the evening.

Very central location and great finish. Has the potential to be a great hotel. The 4/5 reflects service issues - a very strange/awkward check in, followed by staff attempting to clean our room at 9.15am despite a DND sign being displayed.

This lovely renovated hotel is right in the center of the old town and a 5-minute walk from everything! Some rooms have a beautiful view of the castle. The on-site restaurant was delicious. The rooms are compact but very nice.

Beautiful hotel! Breakfast was fresh and delicious! Staff were friendly and very welcoming. Wonderful location with a gorgeous river view! Very walkable area, with a variety of restaurants and shopping just steps from the hotel.

Hotel was very clean and the room was nice. Friendly staff and an amazing (a la carte) breakfast! Located in the heart of the pedestrian district of Ljubljana.

Great hotel positioned perfectly on the narrow strip of old town between the river and castle. Breakfast was great quality and a nice change from the usual buffet set up (it’s a la carte). The thing I really liked was the sound proofing on my room that meant even though you were yards away from the most lively/noisy part of the city, you couldn’t hear a thing. All the staff I spoke to were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean. The only very slight downside is that taxis etc cannot get close to the hotel as the whole area is pedestrianised (but that’s being very picky and won’t be an issue unless you have mobility issues)

It’s a charming hotel in the middle of the pedestrian area so you can walk to everywhere to see the sights. The breakfast at the hotel is very good and the dinner is excellent. We had dinner on the first night outdoors and the last night indoors as it was a bit chilly. The staff from the receptionist to the restaurant staff are very nice and accommodating. The cleaning crew in the rooms does a great job.

The rooms are small but clean and efficient. Good shower with pressure and the bed is very comfortable. We stayed 2 nights in 405 The windows have curtains but because of the angle the drape hangs in a way that lets light in.. bring a sleep mask if you like darkness. The hotel is well situated in the old town, a very walkable and busy area with shops and restaurants. They only have one coffee machine so every morning there was cue. We ate dinner there one night, pricey for the offering and staff was aloof… would stay again, but eat elsewhere.

Outstanding location in the middle of everything. Best breakfast we had ever had in Europe was included in our stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a great view from our window. A perfect place to stay.

We had breakfast here and dinner twice all of which was excellent. We were on 5th floor which was one above where the lift went so bit more of a struggle with luggage though they offered to help. Excellent location in the old town. Friendly welcome with glass of fizz. Rooms a little cramped but had all we needed. Would definitely come back.

Construction noise began most weekdays at around 7.30am and made the room unbearable to be in after 8am. Drilling and hammering from the building that adjoined the hotel was a constant throughout the stay. The Hotel will say it couldn't be helped as the people doing the construction had a permit - but they offered no solution, no amenities (even earplugs would have been welcome) or offered any sort of compensation for the constant noise. Apart from the noise the Hotel was OK, breakfast was nice but it was a slightly strange procedure where you were allowed to select two items from an a la carte menu. Coffee and juice were self service in a nice enough breakfast area. Staff attention was mixed although generally polite, Location is great, right on the river and easy walking distant to everything. Rooms are small - I was allocated a windowless room, which I think is common in this hotel. Felt a bit cramped, but had all the basics that you would expect in a three star hotel (definitely not four star). Overall, I wouldn't stay here again - though maybe it would be better without the constant drilling?

De ansatte var veldig effektive og profesjonelle, men vi opplevde at smilene var påtatt. Beliggenhet, standard, service og mat var veldig bra, men vi savnet ekte smil fra mange av de ansatte.

We had a great stay. The location was perfect, the bed was super comfortable and the breakfasts were fantastic.. My only complaints were that the room was very small and there was some confusion over the parking. If you plan to park you may want to contact the hotel first as they only have a few spots and it's not obvious where to find them. Also they charge 30 euros per day for the parking. Regardless, we would stay there again. Ljubjana is a wonderful city
