The is one of the most special places with truly magnificent views, outstanding service, and with a restaurant with amazing food with perfect place to be a sunset. We were at the pool in the afternoons and really loved our stay there.

We had the best stay at this hotel! The room “Guadalupana” was beautiful, the staff was helpful and kind and the location couldn’t get better. We loved staying at a smaller property, as most days we had the pool to ourselves. They do not lie about the church bells though. They also ring during the middle of the night if you are a light sleeper. However, if we ever find ourselves back in Puerto Vallarta we will book this hotel again.

I had a beautiful & memorable stay in this exquisite old town Puerto Vallarta hotel. Incredible views, spacious room, unforgettable balcony/patio, and a glorious Italian restaurant. The service was fantastic.

The place was amazing. Incredible views. People are real nice and this place has everything from a bar to breakfast, lunch, and dinner options looking over the church and ocean. It’s in the middle of everything so whatever it is you have planed it’s literally 15-20 mins away. The rooms are amazing, Spanish style at its finest. Everything is clean beautiful art everywhere. Defiantly coming back.

Clean hotel, getting there is kinda tough since the roads are so small, but overall had a great time. The views are great. The bell does ding a lot but they provide ear buds if that’s an issue for you.

If you want to feel like you are living in million-dollar view with the most charming rooms and dining, this is the place. Incredible vista and views across the old town to the ocean. Wonderful room with a balcony and traditional furnishings which reflected the high-end charm of the hotel. Dinner overlooking the old town, was breathtaking. We loved the sound of the church bells, they are loud and literally in front of the hotel, but that’s part of its charm, and we didn’t mind the steps down to the lower part of town, the climb up is well worth it.
If you want to feel like you are living in million-dollar view with the most charming rooms and dining, this is the place. Incredible vista and views across the old town to the ocean. The parking and street access are horrible but it goes with the location. The accommodations are beautiful and large rooms, large bathrooms and the balcony area was spectacular. The Breakfast I included was wonderful and delicious served on the terrace. Luxury, great dining, historical charm! Also they contacted us about items left behind and held them safely for 4 days when we could retrieve them.

Una súper experiencia, ideal para descansar y comer bien. Nos trataron de maravilla, el desayuno excelente. La vista del cuarto y del restaurante está espectacular. El ruido de las campanas las escuchas el primer día, luego ya la verdad no te molestan, te acostumbras. El agua de la regadera no la pudimos templar o muy o muy caliente, pero no pasa nada.

We loved our stay at Bellview Hotel. The staff was so kind and took care of everything we needed. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our room had a balcony overlooking the church and the beach. It was so nice to have our morning coffee overlooking Puerto Vallarta. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Really liked the place, but a couple of issues make it difficult. Biggest problem is that church bells ring all night at random times making it very difficult to sleep. Second issue is hot water, of which it is difficult to get a good, hot shower. Rooms are very nice and the service was outstanding.

Pros: Beautiful hotel, gorgeous views, convenient location close to the center, amazing customer service and accomodating staff. Cons: room needs deep cleaning (furniture hand prints, windows, floors). Overall would stay again.

This hotel was an amazing last minute find! So clean, the bed very comfortable and the room is very spacious with beautiful old and new decor. The shower is hot and good pressure. The church bell is frequent but I loved it, I found it to be a beautiful sound and a reminder of the time. I slept with earplugs and did not hear it once. The view is incredible and you are just high enough to be away from the hustle bustle yet still able to walk to everything. The front desk staff Emanuel and Daniela were very helpful and friendly. I had the breakfast brought to my room and it was very tasty and fresh! I wish I could have stayed longer!

Exquisite property. Just gorgeous. Unfortunately the location of this hotel is right behind the Church of our Lady of Guadalupe, whose bell tolls loudly all night long every half hour, so no sleep for hotel patrons. Additionally, the day before our departure to Puerto Vallarta, I received an email stating that the hotel is being renovated with a new pool, so there will be drilling from 9 to 5 p.m. everyday. In the hotel's defense, they did offer me a free breakfast for the days of my stay (however, this was not offered to the two other patrons staying with me in the hotel). The Bellview is a historic building, which I have to say is the most beautiful buidling in Puerto Vallarta. Staff is over the top wonderful. The property is impecably clean and the venue is so elegant yet peaceful. Would I stay here again....absolutely!

This boutique hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Vallarta. It shares the same space as La Cappella restaurant. Our room was spacious and we had an amazing view of the bay. I have read reviews about people complaining about the church bells but that did not bother us. You will have to deal with some noise from the restaurant on Sunday mornings if you were wanting to sleep in. In the end we dealt it was great value and ticked off all the boxes.

the kindest service the most beautiful setting. up on the hill just a few blocks from the tourist beach chaos with extensive views of the pacifica. the sounds of the amazing church bells are like a lullaby along with the sounds of the ocean and the birds. the views and the homes up here are breathtaking. i've stayed in several rooms and they all are special in their own way. everyone who works here has been kind and helpful (i can be difficult too and no one get annoyed with me.) i wish i never had to leave! they have a lovely breakfast too.

the kindest service the most beautiful setting. up on the hill just a few blocks from the tourist beach chaos with extensive views of the pacifica. the sounds of the amazing church bells are like a lullaby along with the sounds of the ocean and the birds. the views and the homes up here are breathtaking. i've stayed in several rooms and they all are special in their own way. everyone who works here has been kind and helpful (i can be difficult too and no one get annoyed with me.) i wish i never had to leave! they have a lovely breakfast too.

My husband and I had a great experience here. This hotel is a gem in the city of PV. I would certainly stay here again. The staff is friendly and so accommodating. The back gate of the property is in the heart of the city and an easy walk to the Romantic zone. Loved the historic feel of the hotel. The two hang ups are there are LOTS of bells from the church, it was hard to get use to and there are a lot of stairs so if you aren't use to walking stairs you may struggle here. Otherwise an amazing place to stay. Beautiful details everywhere!

This hotel was an amazing last minute find! So clean, the bed very comfortable and the room is very spacious with beautiful old and new decor. The shower is hot and good pressure. The church bell is frequent but I loved it, I found it to be a beautiful sound and a reminder of the time. I slept with earplugs and did not hear it once. The view is incredible and you are just high enough to be away from the hustle bustle yet still able to walk to everything. The front desk staff Emanuel and Daniela were very helpful and friendly. I had the breakfast brought to my room and it was very tasty and fresh! I wish I could have stayed longer!

This boutique hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Vallarta. It shares the same space as La Cappella restaurant. Our room was spacious and we had an amazing view of the bay. I have read reviews about people complaining about the church bells but that did not bother us. You will have to deal with some noise from the restaurant on Sunday mornings if you were wanting to sleep in. In the end we dealt it was great value and ticked off all the boxes.

Clean hotel, getting there is kinda tough since the roads are so small, but overall had a great time. The views are great. The bell does ding a lot but they provide ear buds if that’s an issue for you.

If you want to feel like you are living in million-dollar view with the most charming rooms and dining, this is the place. Incredible vista and views across the old town to the ocean. Wonderful room with a balcony and traditional furnishings which reflected the high-end charm of the hotel. Dinner overlooking the old town, was breathtaking. We loved the sound of the church bells, they are loud and literally in front of the hotel, but that’s part of its charm, and we didn’t mind the steps down to the lower part of town, the climb up is well worth it.

The parking and street access are horrible but it goes with the location. The accommodations are beautiful and large rooms, large bathrooms and the balcony area was spectacular. The Breakfast I included was wonderful and delicious served on the terrace. Luxury, great dining, historical charm! Also they contacted us about items left behind and held them safely for 4 days when we could retrieve them.

Una súper experiencia, ideal para descansar y comer bien. Nos trataron de maravilla, el desayuno excelente. La vista del cuarto y del restaurante está espectacular. El ruido de las campanas las escuchas el primer día, luego ya la verdad no te molestan, te acostumbras. El agua de la regadera no la pudimos templar o muy o muy caliente, pero no pasa nada.

The place was amazing. Incredible views. People are real nice and this place has everything from a bar to breakfast, lunch, and dinner options looking over the church and ocean. It’s in the middle of everything so whatever it is you have planed it’s literally 15-20 mins away. The rooms are amazing, Spanish style at its finest. Everything is clean beautiful art everywhere. Defiantly coming back.

Bellview is absolutely excellent! Front desk - Emanuel is friendly, helpful and kind. The view is amazing from anywhere you stand. We had a patio to drink our coffee in the morning and sip our tequila in the evening. It was not crowded this time of year so we had the whole place to our selves. The pool has a view of the ocean and church towers. We received a free welcome juice. The Capella restaurant is beautiful and dinner was very good. Strolling violinists added to the dinner. Our room had free coffee and water. Mini fridge was stocked if desired. Add breakfast to your booking because it is complete with fruit, fresh juices, pan cakes, meat, eggs and coffee. It was amazing!!!! We feel in love with this small boutique hotel in city center near the church and malecón.

The staff was lovely and they offer breakfast, lunch and dinner. I will definitely be back! Would 100% recommend! Why stay at some overcrowded resort when you can stay somewhere like here!? I had a huge balcony with two loungers and a table and chairs! Thoughtful amenities, even two chandeliers in my shower! Wow!
