Vilanculos Beach Lodge

On the plus side, the hotel has: - a great location, in a beautiful tropical garden, directly on the beach - a very friendly staff - a good restaurant - a good breakfast - a beautiful swimming pool On the minus side, the room (I have tested a chalet) is small and not very pleasant.

Everything was good or excellent staff, views, swimming pool, milkshakes and piñacolada :)... just they could improved the look of the bathroom and desk, they are a bit old style.

Just the pool was a bit cool but in general I loved the stay!

Our stay at Vilankulo Beach Lodge was simply unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of. The service was exceptional—warm, attentive, and always delivered with a smile, making us feel both comfortable and valued throughout our stay. One thing that truly stood out was the sense of safety and peace we experienced. It allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the stunning surroundings without a worry, which is priceless when traveling. But what made this experience truly special were the meaningful conversations we had with Angela and Damien. Their kindness, openness, and the time they took to connect with us added a deeply personal touch to our stay. These moments went far beyond what you expect from a hotel experience—they created memories we will carry with us for a long time. A beautiful place, wonderful people, and an experience we would gladly relive. Highly recommended!

Very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The staff was 12 out of 10. Extremely hospitable and welcoming. The view from the rooms and the beach was woooow. Would highly recommend for an intimate getaway.
