Lovely views from room. Staff helpful. Parking could be an issue as more rooms than parking outside of rooms. As other parking area below rooms is quite steep to walk up and no steps only sealed walkway, people with mobility issues are challenged. Continental breakfast included for 2 but cutlery provided for 1. Hotel closed in am when we found this.

Very basic, and clean. Car park sloping with limited turning capacity. Great food and friendly staff at the hotel. Placed in a convenient spot for my trip, close to places of interest, short drive to food store and bottle shop on the door step. Beauty Point has a lot to offer.

The hotel is on the waterfront, the views are very pleasant. Clean rooms, and breakfast amenities provided. From the outside it looks a little dated, but rooms are well maintained, though it did have quite a small TV. Very good restaurant on the property and there is on-site parking.

Pros:Meals where great. Comfortable beds and clean. Cons: shower hot water every minute would go really hot to cold, my 3 yo son almost got burnt a few times.. and no lighting at night outside of rooms, almost broke a toe on your bloody steps. Lighting at the start of oath but not toward the end near the steps..

Room was basic and furniture was dated, but it was comfortable enough for the night. Had a great view. Dinner at the restaurant was pretty good but it closed at eight. Breakfast was some cereal packets already in the room, with a bottle of juice in the fridge. Looked on the map like you would have to drive a bit into town to get breakfast. Laundry room had no lights and only one washer and dryer. It did not look like the dryer worked, and staff didn’t seem to know anything about it.

The bed and pillows were very hard. The close proximity to the hotel and bar is good for a drink and meal. The meals were very good and big serving, like what pubs use to be like. The view from the room was good, but looking over the roof of the pub.

We had reasonable expectations despite the moderate price going by many quite positive reviews. When we arrived we saw the what looked to be abandoned motel on the road behind the hotel. There was a long closed drive-in bottle shop in front, large weeds growing in the edge of the empty car park. We went down to the hotel below and confirmed that this indeed was what we booked. Our room opened in a dark and gloomy passageway with no outside lights working. There was a sort of garden area full of weeds apart from several large man ferns. On entering our room we were met with an awful stale smell probably from the carpet that needed at least a steam clean. The room had been cleaned reasonably well but everything was in need of refurbishment. There was wifi but we couldn't find the password anywhere. The bathroom was ok but very old. The worst part was suffering the awfully smell in the room, even with a window left open. A very disappointing stay on our Tassie holidays. We did eat in the hotel as we arrived about 6.40 and probably our only option. To be fair the meals were fine, typical pub fare.

Having stayed before we were more than happy to stay again knowing the property to be comfortable to stay in. With continental breakfast, tea and coffee, milk, juices and condiments supplied made for an enjoyable stay.The facilities were tidy and adequate for our needs and we were pleasantly suprised to see upgrades done to the rooms since our last stay. The adjoining Hotels dinning restaurant and bar facilities provided complimentary drinks with a good and affordable menu with friendly staff making for a pleasant evenings dinning. We will be returning customers to Beauty Point Waterfront Hotel whenever visiting the area. Ken and Diane

Plenty of parking at the Beauty Point Hotel. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom has had a recent renovation and is also large and modern. Great water view from our room as well. Also the food at the hotel is outstanding we ate there twice and were blown away with the quality of our meals. The Barramundi was cooked to perfection

Really peaceful and comfortable one night stay after a very tasty meal at the bistro. Hosts were really friendly and provided us with a welcome drink and bread (including gluten free) and juice to add to the breakfast box in the room. Thought initially that road noise would be an issue due to a car racing up and down the road around 9pm but we both managed to sleep for 10 hours solid (catch-up from previous night with early morning flight)! Bathroom seemed to have been recently refitted and shower was great. Would stay again if in the area

Breakfast was included which was nice, unfortunately tthere was no milk provided which the staff were apologetic about and milk was supplied but in the morning i found there were also no cereal bowls. Minor details though and I would stay there again. 👍

Was not informed that there is no dinner service on Sunday night. We had no food and everything was shut there if we new we would ot have stayed there

A good spot for exploring the Tamar region. Room was comfortable and staff nice. We appreciated the hearty portions and quick service at the bistro, also the vegan options (standard pub food). It was a bit noisy until the pub etc closed but that is understandable.

Plenty of parking at the Beauty Point Hotel. The room was large, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom has had a recent renovation and is also large and modern. Great water view from our room as well. Also the food at the hotel is outstanding we ate there twice and were blown away with the quality of our meals. The Barramundi was cooked to perfection

Room was basic and furniture was dated, but it was comfortable enough for the night. Had a great view. Dinner at the restaurant was pretty good but it closed at eight. Breakfast was some cereal packets already in the room, with a bottle of juice in the fridge. Looked on the map like you would have to drive a bit into town to get breakfast. Laundry room had no lights and only one washer and dryer. It did not look like the dryer worked, and staff didn’t seem to know anything about it.

Breakfast was included which was nice, unfortunately tthere was no milk provided which the staff were apologetic about and milk was supplied but in the morning i found there were also no cereal bowls. Minor details though and I would stay there again. 👍

Excellent value. Older style, but very clean and tidy motel. We had a family room, main room had queen bed, couch and small round table with 4 chairs. Second room was a good size with two single beds. Free use of shared washing machine, clothesline available. Breakfast supplies (Juice, cereals, bread, milk, spreads) daily. Food at the bistro was amazing (recommend the seafood platter for 2).

My stay was very good. The room was peaceful, spacious, clean. The bathroom was spotless and modern. The staff were very friendly, and the food at the hotel was tasty. What more could you ask for! Oh the view from my room was pretty dam good too!

It's a separate building to the beautiful pub down the hill so I didn't realize it was all part of the same place. Considering we were on the main road, which is not very busy, it was lovely and quiet. The room was great - the only thing we didn't have was a microwave. The view of Bell Bay and the port were just lovely even in rain.
