A charming hotel, finely decorated with a great location, an excellent and varied breakfast, and professional and friendly service. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service and the comfort in the rooms. Very nice pool facing the Petronas towers to make the trip an unforgettable experience.

The Ruma hotel was brilliant, the staff were great, very attentative, friendly. The staff at breakfast are the best, Amal was our daughter’s favourite person and made us feel special everyday along with the countless other staff. The rooms are so luxurious, clean and spacious. After 10 days we still weren’t sick of breakfast- it was so yummy! The pool is very lovely and clean. The staff try to cater to every need. Would definitely recommend and hope we end up here again. We will be back! Thank you for making our trip so comfortable.

A beautiful hotel - an oasis far from the madding crowd outside. Everything was excellent. Breakfast gets quite busy and the pool but overall we had an amazing stay. The corner rooms are very spacious and ideal if you are staying a few days.

Moderno hotel grattacielo a dieci minuti a piedi dalle Petronas e altrettanti per il mall Pavillion. Bella piscina al sesto piano esterna con bar e vista sulle Petronas. Camere complete e spaziose. Buona colazione, pulizia e servizi. Consigliato.

Top hotel, vriendelijk personeel, mooi zwembad en goede locatie! Ondanks dat het hotel best vol was is het een hele rustige omgeving en daardoor erg prettig. Klein minpuntje, het personeel bij de bar van het zwembad was iets te enthousiast met de verkoop van drank en zonder het te weten van elkaar. Hierdoor werd je dus te vaak door verschillende personeelsleden aangesproken.

Hotel is in tip top condition and the breakfast which is included for everyone, is excellent. Go early for breakfast. They've adjusted the menu options so now it's all free. Eggs have a separate menu. Pool side etc is lovely to hang out. Bars close at 11, be aware, tho room service available to 130am. I had several issues with the staff, especially the front desk staff who answer the phone if you have a query from your room, and the hotel listened to my complaints and did a service recovery by comping a late checkout and a ride to the airport, but I have to say the front desk staff instinct is to say "no" to the smallest request that might slightly inconvenience anyone, and they really need to pause for a moment and think "how can I make this a yes". Frankly front desk staff shouldn't be used for customer relations as they are often busy dealing with face to face customers so their attention is distracted. Anyway I had three instances where they argued back hard with a "no" on absurdly easy to say "yes" items (subjects were: hand soap; a post 11pm drink; and pillow choice) and a number of additional instances where they were a bit difficult. Room was lovely, all in good condition, other staff were on the face of it friendly (tho I didn't ask them anything they might say no to) and management response was professional when I complained so still worth four out of five

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The room was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. Housekeeping did an excellent job ensuring everything was spotless and neatly arranged. The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their warm hospitality truly made the experience even more enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again

The whole experience was alright. It can be better, definitely. The hotel itself was superb and peaceful. I love the walk from the entrance to the lobby. It was a great sensorial experience. The view at night was beautiful at the Pool bar. Walkable distance from hotel to Pavilion. I love that we were out of the crazy jam zone. The staff who cleaned the room was considerate. She placed one of the bottled water at the bed side-table. I find this gesture very thoughtful. The rooms were a bit dusty, even the hangers for clothes were dusty when we checked-in. The staffs unfortunately were mediocre, except for three - A smiley lady who handled our payment during Check-In, the lady who cleaned our rooms and the man who assisted our inquiry at the Library. Safety of our passports were compromised at the reception. I had to walk up to him (because he asked us to take a seat first) to remind him to not leave the passports at the side edge of the table and walked off. He was nonchalant about it.

Quiet luxury type of hotel. Excellent location. Spacious rooms. Professional staff. Only complaints were mold in the shower (should not happen in a luxury hotel) and while the dim lighting in the room/bathroom makes for a lovely ambiance, it would be helpful to have better lighting available so women can do their makeup… Also, the plugs in the bathroom are extremely poorly placed in the drawers so I had to do my hair in the entrance to access a plug!

Everything was magnificent! The room is so thought out and has beautiful large windows. The shower is great with good pressure. The breakfast is included and was just a fantastic way to start your day. The staff goes above and beyond. Definitely will stay here every time I come to KL.

Beautiful property in the centre of KL. It is a 10min walk to Bukit Bintang. Service was excellent throughout our stay and staff were polite whenever we saw them. Room was really nice with wooden floorings and automatic blackout curtains. Would definitely come back again if we visit KL.

Nice looking hotel, nice looking room. Check in was awful. Disagreement on whether I booked breakfast included- staff was supposed to check in with management but I never heard back. After check in we received zero attention from front lobby staff. No suggestions for tours or attractions. Zero - nothing offered in the way of assistance to first time visitors as ourselves to KL. It’s likely due to not seeing anyone at the front desk over say 25 years of age. There is a maturity missing from check in staff. Cleaning staff worked at very odd hours and were extremely noisy. Disagreement on inclusion with reservation aside breakfast is extremely overpriced. Bed is both undersized and oddly sits low to the floor. There were heavy quilts that seriously competed with the aircon which is very odd in terms of foresight. The room was also undersized for a king room. Suitcases opened on the floor - meant no where to walk. Felt claustrophobic. Some of this criticism could have been spared with a well attentive front lobby staff who follows up with guests to see how their stay is going.

My wife and I felt welcome and cared for from the moment we arrived. The RuMa staff are well trained and attentive to guests, and were eager to assist when we had questions. Something nice is the staff was proactive, and would ask if we needed anything. Even if the answer was usually that we didn't, we still appreciated the extra effort. My wife had a massage, which she enjoyed, and the pool area, where food and drinks are also served, was pleasant and relaxing. The hotel is walking distance from the Suria and Pavillion malls, where there are lots of dining and shopping choices. On the fourth floor of the Suria mall is a Kinokuniya bookstore, large and well-stocked, for those wishing add to their home library. We rate the RuMa as excellent and would return.

We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and the staff were incredible, from complimentary cake both in room and at the spa, to all the email communication before our arrival with plenty of recommendations. The room was exceptional and the pre-arrival email asks for pillow/bed preference which is a nice touch. The hotel ambience was lovely and we will definitely stay here again when we return to KL

Cosy hotel lobby and rooms. Check in encountered some issues as we requested for our 2 rooms to be on the same floor where the reception agrees to help us arrange and come back to us via WhatsApp. Unfortunately, when we return in the evening, they did not contact us at all and the new reception team was not aware of our request. As for room, we book 1 twin and 1 king rooms. Both rooms our roomy, wooden floors are good unlike carpeted floors can be dusty. Bathroom area is separated from WC with rain shower and bathtub. Water pressure is strong, and there are 2 bathroom sinks. The king room is bigger and better layout as it has a walk in wardrobe. Only gripe is that every floor there is only 1 twin room. Buffet breakfast is included and default. The spread is good with different fried noodles each day like mee, bee hoon, nasi lemak, etc. Other spreads include soup noodle station, salad bar, bread, sausages, and you can order eggs cooked in many different ways from the servers who will bring them to your table. The swimming pool is nice as it is an infinity pool. The pool bar serves great drinks and snacks. Good location as you can walk to Pavilion and KLCC malls within like 10 mins.

Hotel is in tip top condition and the breakfast which is included for everyone, is excellent. Go early for breakfast. They've adjusted the menu options so now it's all free. Eggs have a separate menu. Pool side etc is lovely to hang out. Bars close at 11, be aware, tho room service available to 130am. I had several issues with the staff, especially the front desk staff who answer the phone if you have a query from your room, and the hotel listened to my complaints and did a service recovery by comping a late checkout and a ride to the airport, but I have to say the front desk staff instinct is to say "no" to the smallest request that might slightly inconvenience anyone, and they really need to pause for a moment and think "how can I make this a yes". Frankly front desk staff shouldn't be used for customer relations as they are often busy dealing with face to face customers so their attention is distracted. Anyway I had three instances where they argued back hard with a "no" on absurdly easy to say "yes" items (subjects were: hand soap; a post 11pm drink; and pillow choice) and a number of additional instances where they were a bit difficult. Room was lovely, all in good condition, other staff were on the face of it friendly (tho I didn't ask them anything they might say no to) and management response was professional when I complained so still worth four out of five

Beautiful property in the centre of KL. It is a 10min walk to Bukit Bintang. Service was excellent throughout our stay and staff were polite whenever we saw them. Room was really nice with wooden floorings and automatic blackout curtains. Would definitely come back again if we visit KL.

Everything was magnificent! The room is so thought out and has beautiful large windows. The shower is great with good pressure. The breakfast is included and was just a fantastic way to start your day. The staff goes above and beyond. Definitely will stay here every time I come to KL.

Vi var på spa avdelningen som verkligen var så duktiga och serviceminded helt fantastiska! Frukosten serverade tyvärr inte så mycket västerländsk mat och kaffet var tråkigt då cappuccinon verkade vara från en billig maskin! Inredningen var fantastisk vi provade aldrig poolområdet då vi hade alldeles för få dagar i Kul Vi fick många små treats på hotellet som födelsedagstårta och små macarons :) alla på hotellet var supertrevliga och hjälpsamma

Location of the hotel is beneficial as well, very close to Petronas towers, aquarium and Pavilion shopping center. The area itself is very nice and comfortable to walk around. In terms of improvement areas I would like to mention breakfast, we ordered eggs few times and they were a bit bland/undercooked. I stayed with mom, and we celebrated her 80s birthday in KL. In 5star hotels I stayed previously, I had a nice experience when there were congratulation cards from the hotel administration on such special dates. I believe future hotel guests would appreciate this small act of kindness and care.

It was a very enjoyable merdeka weekend stay. Everything was beautifully designed and functional. Walking distance to KLCC and the convention centre. Our room got upgraded and we were able to enjoy the merdeka drone and fireworks show comfortably from inside. Thank you so much for that :). All the staff were friendly and helpful. A special mention to haikal at the front desk and nida of housekeeping.

I would like to compliment the hotel staff for decorating the room with balloons and there was a birthday cake and a lovely message from the staff. The room is beautiful. Good service and friendly staff. Room for improvement: 1) the sheets were not comfortable. Felt rough. 2) pillows were not comfortable too. 3) the ironing board stand was broken so I couldn’t iron my clothes. 4) breakfast seems a bit chaotic. Coffees ordered come late and cold. Perhaps they lack staff. 4) Drinks at their bar are overpriced. Might as well go to cocktail bars nearby.

The property is so tastefully decorated throughout, and the room was super comfortable with a gorgeous bathtub. Location is central, very close to the petronas towers , shopping malls, and street food. It’s about 45 min by taxi from the airport. We tried the afternoon tea as well as the tasting menu and they both were truly delicious . The breakfast buffet is also very good, offering both western and local specialities. Everything was fresh, and the options were varied and changed daily. And finally the staff who made our stay special . Everybody was so nice from the lobby to the pool to the dining area. Ruma is really a great place to stay, and I can’t wait to visit again !
