Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kona Isle is a nice and quiet complex on Ali'i Drive about a mile from downtown Kailua-Kona. The condo was as described and was clean throughout upon our arrival. It's tastefully decorated, lanai has a fridge, and an efficient AC is a big plus (for the summer.) Kitchen had all cooking items needed that were in great shape (no peeling nonstick pans here) and all the plates, utensils, silverware, glasses and cups galore. The private oceanfront bbq area was great for cooking and picnics, especially while watching the beautiful Big Island sunsets. The condo property was clean and well maintained. I always saw the resident manager up and about very early in the morning taking care of things around the complex. Be aware that quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. There are also full time residents that live at the complex as well and they value that quiet. Besides, you get to listen to the ocean waves breaking on the shoreline rocks below. We felt the condo size was perfect for two adults though it's listed for four. Knutson and Associates is an excellent company to work with on the rental. They are timely in their correspondence (via email and text.) We would use them again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was nice and clean and had extra amenities like beach chairs. We really appreciated the AC units. The property was well maintained and pleasantly quiet. It’s is right next door to a saltwater pool, which was nice. I’d stay here again, for sure.

Knutson staff were extremely professional, prompt, and helpful with all my questions. The rental was beautiful and clean with all the amenities we needed. We only needed to bring our pick of groceries! The additional mini fridge on the balcony was great for keeping our drinks cold while we enjoyed the gorgeous view of the water and sunsets from our balcony lanai. The beds were very comfortable, the space was roomy with a classy and comfy design throughout. The shower also had nice pressure and lots of hot water.The air-conditioning worked well as did the fans. It took me 30 years to return to Hawaii and this place was a perfect location to spend a very relaxing month. The grounds were well kept up with a very nice pool area in addition to a sandy area under palm trees right next to the water where I could sit in a chair and watch the sunset. The outside grill area was clean and easy to use with tables to eat at as well. The manager on site was very pleasant and helpful. Having a designated parking spot was also a plus because we could come and go without worry about finding parking when we returned. My whole family loved staying here!

First of all, we really enjoyed the clean, comfy condo! The view from the balcony was so nice. Secondly, the grounds and the pool were immaculate! And the public saltwater pool right next door was really cool. Third, we were really happy with the available beach equipment, which included a pop-up, chairs, beach towels and masks/snorkels. Overall, we had a really nice time and we appreciated all the attention to details for a great stay!

I have mixed feelings after our stay here. We enjoyed our stay overall but we probably wouldn’t stay here again. The good: - The view from the lanai is wonderful. - Nice common areas. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for. The sandy area by the ocean was our favorite - Good location. Walkable to town if you don’t mind a longer walk. - The AC works well; with two units the bedroom stayed cool for sleeping. - Assigned parking. - Beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella provided. - Management was very responsive whenever we had an issue. The not so good: - The biggest issue was the bugs in the kitchen. While I know bugs are common in Hawaii, this was the first time in any Hawaii rental unit that we’ve ever had an issue. Management did their best to respond but it unfortunately will probably take time to address. We kept all our food sealed and took out trash daily but still had significantly more bugs than we’ve ever had in a Hawaii rental. - The unit could use a good deep clean. Management sent a cleaning crew back out at our request, but the whole unit really needs to be thoroughly dusted (things like doors and decor), insides of cabinets wiped down, and all the kitchen items gone through to ensure they are actually clean. - Linens (especially the sheets) are worn out and need to be replaced. - The kitchen has no consumables - only salt and pepper. No oil of any kind, no spices, no foil (we left some behind).

The unit we rented was very clean and had everything you would need for your vacation. The property grounds were immaculate and well cared for. Close to town for restaurants and some shopping. We really appreciated the fact that this unit had air conditioning as a couple of our days were quite warm. The management company, Knutson and Associates checked in briefly during our stay to make sure everything was okay. Appreciated that. We would stay at this unit again.

I have a bad knee and by the end of the trip my knee was shot from all the walking and sightseeing, so the stairs were a bit of a pain point for me. Also, the unit is beautiful and we really enjoyed the view from the lanai, but the windows for the bedroom are louvered windows and do let quite a bit of sound in from outside, so if you're a light sleeper, I recommend running white noise on your phone or running the fan on a higher setting. The beach chairs in the closet, and the cooler that was available made our stay a lot easier to plan without having to worry about renting or purchasing things we would need to leave behind. Also want to add that Knutson and Associates was fantastic to work with, and provided such clear instructions for making our stay as worry free as possible. They also provided ample communication to ensure our needs were met.

this condo was exceptional for a couple.of reasons. 1) the picture portraying the view from the condo was accurate. 2) i dont really evaluate decor but again this condo was exceptional. i started looking at many of the items on the walls and decided they werent tacky but very interesting. even some table placemats were super cool. they were very hawaiian and has a wood center and a woven exterior. my goal is to figure out where i can purchase some. 3) this condo was well stocked. they even had beach chairs and a cooler in a closet. plus i found a guidebook for hawaii this morning. i wish i had seen this sooner.

We had the most wonderful vacation and our stay in Kona Isle C38 was fabulous. We loved having our coffee and wine on the lanai every morning and evening. The view is spectacular! Right now I’m watching an 8 man canoe paddle by as the full moon is setting. Wow! The condo looked like it was freshly updated and true to the pictures. It was sparkly clean and the washer/dryer was handy. The bed was a little uncomfortable and we kept rolling to the middle, lol, but other than that we loved everything about the condo, the pool, the beach and the grounds. We will definitely stay here again. Aloha!🌺

I loved staying here. It's clean, quiet, excellent location, easy self check-in & parking, quiet and efficient air conditioning, and you can hear the ocean from the bed. You can see the ocean from the little window in the shower. What's not to love? I want to stay here again.

Having a washer/dryer in unit was an absolute life saver with how much swimming we did. The AC worked great and we loved that we could keep the bedroom at a different temperature than the rest of the living space since the kids like it warmer than we do. The lanai was cute, and so close to the ocean (feels closer than it looks in the pictures). Nice little private beach area with some chairs, great spot to watch the sunset. The only thing we didn’t love was that the bedroom and bathroom door were both slatted instead of solid so there was absolutely no noise privacy. You could hear every sounds from all areas of the condo. Wouldn’t likely be an issue for a couple, but for a family of four, it was not ideal, and something I wish I’d known before booking. Overall we had a wonderful stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Kona Isle is a nice and quiet complex on Ali'i Drive about a mile from downtown Kailua-Kona. The condo was as described and was clean throughout upon our arrival. It's tastefully decorated, lanai has a fridge, and an efficient AC is a big plus (for the summer.) Kitchen had all cooking items needed that were in great shape (no peeling nonstick pans here) and all the plates, utensils, silverware, glasses and cups galore. The private oceanfront bbq area was great for cooking and picnics, especially while watching the beautiful Big Island sunsets. The condo property was clean and well maintained. I always saw the resident manager up and about very early in the morning taking care of things around the complex. Be aware that quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. There are also full time residents that live at the complex as well and they value that quiet. Besides, you get to listen to the ocean waves breaking on the shoreline rocks below. We felt the condo size was perfect for two adults though it's listed for four. Knutson and Associates is an excellent company to work with on the rental. They are timely in their correspondence (via email and text.) We would use them again in the future.

The condo was very nice, king sized bed was comfortable. Kitchen had what we needed...except a dishwasher (how did I miss that detail?!) Dawn at Hawaiian Isle Vacations (property mgr) was VERY responsive when I called about the toaster burning toast - she had a new one there by the time we were back that same afternoon. Nice to have a reserved/dedicated parking spot. The pool and beach area were wonderful and everyone we met (including a couple we went to dinner with!) were very friendly and quiet neighbors. There are ALOT of older people who live at Kona Isle and that was just fine with us (no loud parties)!

Knutson staff were extremely professional, prompt, and helpful with all my questions. The rental was beautiful and clean with all the amenities we needed. We only needed to bring our pick of groceries! The additional mini fridge on the balcony was great for keeping our drinks cold while we enjoyed the gorgeous view of the water and sunsets from our balcony lanai. The beds were very comfortable, the space was roomy with a classy and comfy design throughout. The shower also had nice pressure and lots of hot water.The air-conditioning worked well as did the fans. It took me 30 years to return to Hawaii and this place was a perfect location to spend a very relaxing month. The grounds were well kept up with a very nice pool area in addition to a sandy area under palm trees right next to the water where I could sit in a chair and watch the sunset. The outside grill area was clean and easy to use with tables to eat at as well. The manager on site was very pleasant and helpful. Having a designated parking spot was also a plus because we could come and go without worry about finding parking when we returned. My whole family loved staying here!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We really enjoyed this property. Very clean and well kept. A couple of considerations however for those with mobility issues, this is a third floor unit with no elevator access. I have a bad knee and by the end of the trip my knee was shot from all the walking and sightseeing, so the stairs were a bit of a pain point for me. Also, the unit is beautiful and we really enjoyed the view from the lanai, but the windows for the bedroom are louvered windows and do let quite a bit of sound in from outside, so if you're a light sleeper, I recommend running white noise on your phone or running the fan on a higher setting. The beach chairs in the closet, and the cooler that was available made our stay a lot easier to plan without having to worry about renting or purchasing things we would need to leave behind. Also want to add that Knutson and Associates was fantastic to work with, and provided such clear instructions for making our stay as worry free as possible. They also provided ample communication to ensure our needs were met.

The condo was as described and was clean throughout upon our arrival. It's tastefully decorated, lanai has a fridge, and an efficient AC is a big plus (for the summer.) Kitchen had all cooking items needed that were in great shape (no peeling nonstick pans here) and all the plates, utensils, silverware, glasses and cups galore. The private oceanfront bbq area was great for cooking and picnics, especially while watching the beautiful Big Island sunsets. The condo property was clean and well maintained. I always saw the resident manager up and about very early in the morning taking care of things around the complex. Be aware that quiet hours are from 10:00 pm to 8:00 am. There are also full time residents that live at the complex as well and they value that quiet. Besides, you get to listen to the ocean waves breaking on the shoreline rocks below. We felt the condo size was perfect for two adults though it's listed for four. Knutson and Associates is an excellent company to work with on the rental. They are timely in their correspondence (via email and text.) We would use them again in the future.

I have mixed feelings after our stay here. We enjoyed our stay overall but we probably wouldn’t stay here again. The good: - The view from the lanai is wonderful. - Nice common areas. The grounds are beautiful and well cared for. The sandy area by the ocean was our favorite - Good location. Walkable to town if you don’t mind a longer walk. - The AC works well; with two units the bedroom stayed cool for sleeping. - Assigned parking. - Beach towels, chairs, and an umbrella provided. - Management was very responsive whenever we had an issue. The not so good: - The biggest issue was the bugs in the kitchen. While I know bugs are common in Hawaii, this was the first time in any Hawaii rental unit that we’ve ever had an issue. Management did their best to respond but it unfortunately will probably take time to address. We kept all our food sealed and took out trash daily but still had significantly more bugs than we’ve ever had in a Hawaii rental. - The unit could use a good deep clean. Management sent a cleaning crew back out at our request, but the whole unit really needs to be thoroughly dusted (things like doors and decor), insides of cabinets wiped down, and all the kitchen items gone through to ensure they are actually clean. - Linens (especially the sheets) are worn out and need to be replaced. - The kitchen has no consumables - only salt and pepper. I loved staying here. It's clean, quiet, excellent location, easy self check-in & parking, quiet and efficient air conditioning, and you can hear the ocean from the bed. You can see the ocean from the little window in the shower. What's not to love? I want to stay here again.

Knutson staff were extremely professional, prompt, and helpful with all my questions. The rental was beautiful and clean with all the amenities we needed. We only needed to bring our pick of groceries! The additional mini fridge on the balcony was great for keeping our drinks cold while we enjoyed the gorgeous view of the water and sunsets from our balcony lanai. The beds were very comfortable, the space was roomy with a classy and comfy design throughout. The shower also had nice pressure and lots of hot water.The air-conditioning worked well as did the fans. It took me 30 years to return to Hawaii and this place was a perfect location to spend a very relaxing month. The grounds were well kept up with a very nice pool area in addition to a sandy area under palm trees right next to the water where I could sit in a chair and watch the sunset. The outside grill area was clean and easy to use with tables to eat at as well. The manager on site was very pleasant and helpful. Having a designated parking spot was also a plus because we could come and go without worry about finding parking when we returned. My whole family loved staying here!

this condo was exceptional for a couple.of reasons. 1) the picture portraying the view from the condo was accurate. 2) i dont really evaluate decor but again this condo was exceptional. i started looking at many of the items on the walls and decided they werent tacky but very interesting. even some table placemats were super cool. they were very hawaiian and has a wood center and a woven exterior. my goal is to figure out where i can purchase some. 3) this condo was well stocked. they even had beach chairs and a cooler in a closet. plus i found a guidebook for hawaii this morning. i wish i had seen this sooner.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Kona Isle a number of times, and every time is great. C38 always brings a smile to our faces. The view from the lanai is awesome. The grounds are well kept. The pool is worth spending some time there. The grills are right on the ocean. A perfect spot to be to watch the sun set each night. We are already planning our next trip.

The property was absolutely stunning. Well maintained with beautiful courtyards and ocean seating area. The condo was better than I expected. Great upgraded kitchen with all the amenities we needed for enjoying our stay.Would definitely go back in a heartbeat.

First of all, we really enjoyed the clean, comfy condo! The view from the balcony was so nice. Secondly, the grounds and the pool were immaculate! And the public saltwater pool right next door was really cool. Third, we were really happy with the available beach equipment, which included a pop-up, chairs, beach towels and masks/snorkels. Overall, we had a really nice time and we appreciated all the attention to details for a great stay!

I loved staying here. It's clean, quiet, excellent location, easy self check-in & parking, quiet and efficient air conditioning, and you can hear the ocean from the bed. You can see the ocean from the little window in the shower. What's not to love? I want to stay here again.
