Wonderful grounds, including plentiful green space to walk round. Hepburn house does not have air conditioning and windows with very limited opening function, which made it a pretty hot and sticky stay in 30 degree heat. Furthermore, the East Park Gym is directly beneath the rooms, as a result, we were woken up at 8AM by people flipping tractor tyres and having an outside exercise class.

The stay was seamless from arriving to checking out. I had dinner both evening at the bar and restaurant, and both were lovely. The grounds to the hotel are just stunning and the gym is well equipped. It would have been good to have had information in the room about the services and the hotel. The QR code didn’t work in my room. Great stay and would come back.

Booked a night whilst out on business. Warm welcome from the staff, room in the annexe building was warm and comfortable with all amenities. Only issue was noise from the gym class in the tent out the back!

Gorgeous hotel in lovely grounds. Staff were really welcoming, room was perfectly adequately (although mine had no bath) and lovely dinner in the bar. Hands down the best hotel gym I've ever been to as well!!

Impressive building and lovely breakfast. Staff were very friendly and parking was easy. Bed was very soft and only thick pillows which meant I didn’t sleep as well as normal.

Wonderful stay with friends visiting Ascot - room was small but comfy - but did nowhere to put your toiletries in the bathroom as no cabinet or sink top ! Top window was wide open too so room was freezing on the first night. Lots of positives, all staff were kind and helpful - electric charging point on site albeit we moved our car once charged a cheeky Tesla owner just left their car there even when not charging Bedding was really comfy and the toiletries were a nice touch - breakfast was delicious and served quickly Highly recommend - Shame no on site jacuzzi or pool attached to the gym even if chargeable I would have paid Overall will stay again and recommend to others

Excellent check in and welcome from Helena on reception. Room was hot because of the weather but there is a fan. Hotel and grounds beautiful. There were 2 weddings going on. Gym great. The ladies at breakfast looking after everyone were fantastic! Hot breakfast ordered, didn’t have to wait long. Had noticed previous review where someone mentioned waiting. The ladies were attentive despite people being in the wrong place. The hotel clearly had signs and asked if you were wedding guests. Wedding guests had a separate room. Breakfast choices were good and food delicious. The staff here are brilliant in spite of guests causing confusion. Seriously the staff were fantastic and we would definitely return. Many thanks. Helena was there in the morning. Efficient and lovely smile. Rate A***

The main building is very impressive along with the grounds. We had a nice room in the Hepburn Building. Bit disappointing when one of us was woken up early in the morning with the loudness of the music coming from gym. Breakfast was a bit unorganised as well, after ordering our drinks and hot breakfast it to a lot longer than you’d expect for the food to arrive, to the point that a member of staff came over to ask if we had ordered. No butter came for the toast which I’ve never had before and when we asked for some it felt like it had just come out of the freezer. For the status of this hotel and the cost of the room, it was disappointing that these things happened. We travel a lot and have had much better experiences at many places of lower standard and cost.

The long drive and grounds are beautiful. The lift was broken and no attempt to ask anyone to help me with cases and bags . The shower was great but the angle of spray kept flooding the floor so we used 3 towels permanently to soak up the water so we could use the bathroom and the fan was very noisy

The staff were amazing, helpful, polite and professional, I would suggest changing the pillows, as they were far too big and uncomfortable.The breakfast is great value for money, which was lovely, sadly our evening meal I felt was overpriced for the amount we received, compared to the bar meal we had the following day, which was amazing. The cleanliness was rather lacking in places, with cobwebs hanging in the corners and over the actual bed of room 217, there were dead flies on skirting boards behind the curtains and rubbish on top of the wardrobe, infact 5 empty champagne bottles and dusty coat hangers to be precise. Fantastic setting for weddings and events I feel, but not for weekends away.

The staff, luxury, dining and service were superb. Our stay was slightly let down by the room. Comfortable and quiet with potential to be perfect but bathroom ceiling needs repainting (stained) grout needs cleaning or replacing, furniture needs touching up (chipped and stained) desk lamp bulb needs replacement, tv did not provide guest services as advertised, no information booklet or menus in room, coffee machine leaked.

Really lovely hotel. Stayed here for a trip to Lapland UK. Great size room, comfy beds, spotlessly clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic breakfast in the morning.

Room was dirty, carpets not vacuumed and general surfaces dirty and dusty. Breakfast service was poor took the team a while to notice they hadn’t taken my breakfast order whilst taking others who came in after me. I never got asked if I wanted a tea or coffee so went without, disorganised and it came out as cool as it would be from a buffet

The hotel is beautifully but lack of Air-conditioning in the room was nightmare. Unable to sleep was too hot also lack of simple facilities like fridge its not worth the money its overpriced..I had to ask for upgrade but the receptionist said they dont have fridge in bedroom and was given small fan cheap wont do nothing for this weather.Never again

Really nice hotel. Been there before for a wedding years ago. Stayed in the Annex which was very modern however, a bit noisy plus, if staying with a partner, just be aware of the toilet door!!! It’s frosted glass with quite large gap between the door and frame. If your partner enjoys the the sound of you squeezing one out on the toilet, then it’s ideal! That said, great local walks if you’ve got a four (or even two) legged friend and not too far from Bracknell town centre, golf courses or climbing centre.

Staff were amazing. But when you’re paying £260 per night for a room, I would’ve expected far more than what we receive. It was quite small and the temperature was way too high. It was a summers evening, and the hotel did provide a fan; But the temperature was still unacceptable and the fan had a little or no effect. You couldn’t even open the windows very much to let air in.

Decent hotel... I was in the annex building where the rooms seem fairly new and were well decorated and appointed. Nice bathroom, which was very warm. Beds were comfy and overall would stay again.

I had very little sleep because room 103 was located above the courtyard where all the noisy electrical plant for the kitchen, bulk freezer etc are sited. Even with the windows shut, the constant hum was unbearable, and I had a miserable night. Also, the main ceiling light didn't work, and the cold basin tap only delivered warm water.

A beautiful and Great hotel very friendly staff, will defiantly return the only thing which is minor, but the room didn’t have aircon a fan is in the room but aircon would’ve been nice, it was very hot in the room this hotel is a perfect getaway, I found Expedia to be the cheapest option

The hotel rooms are very overheated with no thermostat to control the radiator. Made for a very uncomfortable sleep and we had to open the window to remove as much heat as possible. This is also ridiculous for a hotel which claims environmental credentials! We were also very aware of cost cutting measures. Only one loo roll provided and no tissues. Highlighted by them hiding the tissue box cover in a wardrobe! Our shower flooded the bathroom and we felt that the paintwork etc was just a bit grubby. We were also disappointed that when we went to check out that reception was not staffed. We waited over five mins and went to look for staff but found none! This really doesn’t present as professional standards.
The hotel rooms are very overheated with no thermostat to control the radiator. Made for a very uncomfortable sleep and we had to open the window to remove as much heat as possible. This is also ridiculous for a hotel which claims environmental credentials! We were also very aware of cost cutting measures. Only one loo roll provided and no tissues. Highlighted by them hiding the tissue box cover in a wardrobe! Our shower flooded the bathroom and we felt that the paintwork etc was just a bit grubby. We were also disappointed that when we went to check out that reception was not staffed. We waited over five mins and went to look for staff but found none! This really doesn’t present as professional standards.

The lady who checked us in at 10pm 28/01 (sorry didn’t get her name) was so lovely!! She explained there was a very noisy do on that night & because it was my partners birthday she upgraded us to a lovely quiet room in the hotel & we didn’t here a thing! Thank you so much!!

Great hotel. Bar service was dreadful. Barman kept disappearing leaving 3 people waiting 10mins to be served. When I got food it was luke warm at best. Such a shame as everything else was good. Great surroundings. Comfy room.

Breakfast staff (apart from the lovely young lady ) 3 of the 3 mornings i was there the breakfast staff were so rude, unfriendly and not smiling.. never did i get a "good morning" just ROOM NUMBER.. not even room number please! one of the mornings at breakfast there was rapper music blaring out which looking around the room at the average age group of 50 was inappropriate.. also in the room i was in for the 3 nights i was there was constant loud snoring from the next room which kept me awake..

Wonderful stay with friends visiting Ascot - room was small but comfy - but did nowhere to put your toiletries in the bathroom as no cabinet or sink top ! Top window was wide open too so room was freezing on the first night. Lots of positives, all staff were kind and helpful - electric charging point on site albeit we moved our car once charged a cheeky Tesla owner just left their car there even when not charging Bedding was really comfy and the toiletries were a nice touch - breakfast was delicious and served quickly Highly recommend - Shame no on site jacuzzi or pool attached to the gym even if chargeable I would have paid Overall will stay again and recommend to others

It was booked for a Christmas stay, we had a dog with us so stayed in the separate building next to the main hotel, where the gym was also located. The rooms were quite small, we booked 2, and the shower screens were too short so the floor got soaked. Beds were really comfortably and the room could be classed as cozy. We didnt have a view unfortunately as our window looked out onto a storage tank, so if you stay here we would suggest staying in the main building! There was also a constant hum, which we think came from the hotel's kitchens extractors, but it might have been an aircon unit. The rooms didn't have aircon, but were well insulated so we werent cold and infact slept with the windows open. The grounds were amazing and the staff were friendly. For us it was just somewhere to sleep each night as we were not staying in the hotel during the day so didnt try the breakfast, restaurant or bar! Very close vicinity to Wokingham, probability wont stay again, unless we are traveling with our dog again.

Beautiful property with sweeping drive - really comfy beds - no air con but fans provided The reading light in room 108 stays on so this could do with sorting - I used my initiative and wrapped a sock and flannel over it. All staff on reception bar and restaurant super nice and helpful Wil book directly next time as definitely cheaper and it’s such a lovely hotel perfect for Ascot ! Would be ideal if a swimming pool and jacuzzi was available I might book a longer stay.

Stayed 2 nights for a business trip. A lovely building with great facilities. Breakfast and evening meal in the restaurant were very good. Great location for getting to farnborough for events. I've stayed 4 times now and have always enjoyed it.

This was a return visit to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I have to say all of the staff were so attentive and welcoming with professionalism added. We were greeted in our room by a special little touch with a card and mini cakes…lovely. Our only disappointment was the time it took from ordering our main to receiving it was 55 minutes. The breakfast was wonderful also and served promptly with a smile. Thank you for another lovely stay at your beautiful hotel.

The staff were amazing, helpful, polite and professional, I would suggest changing the pillows, as they were far too big and uncomfortable.The breakfast is great value for money, which was lovely, sadly our evening meal I felt was overpriced for the amount we received, compared to the bar meal we had the following day, which was amazing. The cleanliness was rather lacking in places, with cobwebs hanging in the corners and over the actual bed of room 217, there were dead flies on skirting boards behind the curtains and rubbish on top of the wardrobe, infact 5 empty champagne bottles and dusty coat hangers to be precise. Fantastic setting for weddings and events I feel, but not for weekends away.

On the whole the property was excellent, as were the staff, and I would more than happily stay there again. The only reason I’ve docked a star is because there was a wedding happening on the night I stayed - and I think it would have been nice for the staff to mention at check in what time it was scheduled to go on until as it was quite loud (to be fair, we were in a room directly above the event. Were I anywhere else in the building it may not have been an issue). And the other nit-picky thing is that there were quite a lot of cobwebs in the room. Both minor things, and as I said I’d more than happily stay at the property again. Grounds and building are beautiful, staff were great, breakfast food was well stocked and good quality, check in and out were both smooth.

As the hotel has no air con the windows have to be open giving you the full noise from the classes. So no early nights and certainly no lie ins and no warning when you booked, otherwise the hotel review would be very good.
