This property has one of the best breakfasts in Doha. The gym has a steam room, sauna and women's only gym section in the changing rooms. The location is great. There are a number of restaurants and supermarkets within a 10 minute walk. The rooms are are beautiful, along with the bathrooms. The service was great, Aya at reception was excellent. I cannot wait to come back.

Fantastic stay, unfortunately only for 1 day. The staff really know what customer service and hospitality is and the place is pure luxury. The bed was one of the comfiest ones I’ve ever slept in. The rooftop pool is ideal to top up your tan and relax if you can bear the heat!

Lovely hotel with plenty restaurants etc in the hotel or within a few minutes walk. All the staff we interacted with were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast with a wide range of choices. Nice rooftop pool and recommend mosaic restaurant on 8th floor. Overall a wonderful choice for a city hotel, but obviously not if being on a beach is important. Taxis are cheap and metro is closed by so can get to all main places easily

Fantastic stay with my family. It is the definition of 5 star located in downtown, in a very affluent area offering excellent dining options as well as. 5 mins walk from the Souk. Staff were extremely friendly from the checking staff to house keeping and even the concierge. Free valet parking was available which we took advantage off, staff were always at hand to help all the time. Highly recommend the hotel if you are visiting Doha

Great stay. Nazeem Naheem (assistant front office manager) made us feel welcome in addition to the entire staff. Outside pool area was nice to visit in the early evening and cool off. Turn down service and drinks in the lounge were nice. The on-site restaurant (Izu) served great food.

Brilliant location in a part of Doha that is walkable, very elegant and keeps developing. Although the hotel is behind on some technology (outdated smart TVs), it certainly offers great ambience, service and facilities. Absolutely beautiful hotel.

The Mandarin Doha, completely staying in line with the Mandarin Orientals level of quality but also leading the way in luxury hotels in Doha. From the start to the end of our stay everything was up to the highest standards. I stayed with my wife and my one year old daughter for 6 days, and the staff, especially front of house and breakfast staff went the extra mile with my daughter every day, as a newish parent this is appreciated highly. From treating my daughter with mandarin toys to keeping her entertained and just a smile and hello in the morning kept her on top of the world. The hotel is located in the Mishreb downtown district, now this may not be a beach front property but honestly I believe this is an ideal location; Lusail city - 20 mins driving Souq Waqif - 5 minutes walking Museum of Islamic art - 5 minutes driving Kata - 15 minutes driving The pearl - 17 minutes driving Villaggio mall - 15 minutes driving The hotel has ample amenities; a very clean and well equipped roof top pool, with attentive staff. Breakfast was fresh, delicious, clean and the staff accommodated all of our requests down to the T, after 2 days most things were provided for our daughter without even having to ask. They also have a cafe, we serves afternoon tea, we did not try this but seemed very popular, there's also an additional restaurant. Finally there's an ice cream located to the rear of the hotel with absolutely Devine sorbets! The house keeping staff were excellent with high quality

If you stay for 7 days or more, the in-room hospitality is off the charts. The pistachio sandies, bon-bon platter, and spa samples were amazing. Housekeeping was on-target (but need to ask for sheets if you want them). The filtered water bottles in old-fashion milk-jugs was high-class, environmentally friendly, and they give as many as you need for coffe/tea/hydration in general. Workspace is great in the superior deluxe, and bathrooms are exquisite. The coffee/tea bar could be good for personal or even in-room hospitality possible.

This hotel was a treat, we were looked after from the get go! Absolutely cant fault our stay, we arrived earlier than check in and were arranged a room straight away. We had our kids who were unwell and when asked for toast, the kitchen team didn't charge us for it. The room itself was super clean and comfortable, everything was superb right down to the small details, welcome drinks, complimentary fruit and dates. The location is also great for small cafes and restaurants, we didn't book breakfast with the hotel instead we tried a different cafe each morning and this was great for us as we already travelled through the Middle East and wanted a change. The area is nice for walking and to our luck the mosque was next to the hotel where praying was super convenient.

I had an absolutely exceptional stay at the Mandarin Oriental Doha. From the moment I arrived, the level of attention to detail was remarkable. Small gestures that might have gone unnoticed elsewhere, like providing a beautiful bookmark when they noticed I didn’t have one, or thoughtfully wrapping together my plug wires, made my stay feel effortlessly seamless. Each day, my toiletries were meticulously organised, reflecting a real awareness of my preferences and comfort. A special mention must go to Salvador and Susanna from In-room dining. Their warmth, professionalism, and joy transformed every meal into a truly personalised experience. They anticipated my needs with grace and ensured every detail was perfect. The chef was exceptional, and the food was amongst the best I had in Qatar;I need to make special note of the way he made amendments for my dietary requirements-being coeliac and lactose intolerant. The in-room dining truly was exceptional! The location was perfect, and within walkable distance of such amazing locations as Souq Waqif and the luxurious shopping district in Msheireb. I truly felt immersed in the hub of the city. Every element of my stay demonstrated the Mandarin Oriental’s commitment to exceptional service and genuine care. All of the staff were friendly, attentive, courteous, and really did make me feel like royalty. It’s the kind of experience that turns a luxurious stay into a truly memorable one; I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!

Superbe hôtel à la hauteur de la réputation du groupe Mandarin Oriental. Très bien situé au cœur de Doha, pas loin du souq Wakif. Chambres spacieuses et impeccables. Un petit ennui avec la climatisation à l’arrivée, le personnel nous a changés de chambre rapidement et même surclassés. Les options de restaurations sont nombreuses et de grande qualité. Le personnel est constamment aux petits soins que ce soit à l’entrée, à la réception ou au bord de la piscine. Une adresse de prestige au centre de Doha où nous n’hésiterons pas à revenir!.

This was my absolute best hotel stay ever! The service was top-notch, and the staff were incredibly caring. The amenities were amazing, and the room was spotless, as was the bathroom. They really go the extra mile to make sure you have a comfortable stay. They’re always checking in on you, making sure everything is okay. The location is perfect, very close to attractions such Souq Waqif & The Museum of Islamic Art. Can’t recommend this hotel enough if you ever visit Doha.

Staff were all super helpful and always did an extra step in making us feel welcomed and special. Concierge staffs were really knowledgeable and helped us a lot with planning. Tim at concierge even came up to the restaurant where we had breakfast before leaving to give us a hand written thank you card and a gift from the hotel. And Niko the hotel manager came over to talk with us and asked about our stay. Overall the best hotel stay experience. Will definitely go back again and recommend friends too.

This should be exceptionally hotel I am surprised bad things happened there and you would expect it in lower category of hotel and this first time in my life something like this happened during my stays went for dinner in Hôtel restaurant mosaic while we are looking to the menu we order bottle of water and the waiter poured it over the table and my clothes after he filled the glass with water and drop the bottle on the table and the cold water spell every where and in my clothes it’s accident maybe he is not trained enough for sure he is amateur not professional definitely. Of course we had to leave the restaurant dinner is ruined 😠 they think it’s normal and they just sorry . No one seems to care even though I reported no one care from the hotel no one contact me and I check out days after it and I am staying in the hotel as well . I would rate terrible service

There are many luxury hotels in Doha. But the Mandarin Oriental stands out for the warmth, sincerity and compassion of its staff. We were blown away by how real, fun and attentive everyone was, from reception, housekeeping, the bar staff and those at breakfast. This will be our home away from home while in Doha!

We had a great experience at mandarin oriental. Perfect place to stay! We had all cafes/places to eat, right infront and around the hotel. The souq waqif was literally a 5 min walk away. We went there every evening.Amazing vibes. Cant wait to come back again in the new year!!!

Excellent stay. Having stayed in multiple hotels in Doha, this is by far my favourite. Very accommodating and friendly staff and location is perfect- within walking distance to souq waqif and Corniche.

Doha is a neat place to visit but it can be confusing which hotel to stay at. 5 star properties are everywhere, as is their pricing. If you want an absolutely perfect location, spotless property, with some of the best food in town - MO is it. Very good value for the dollar (admittedly expensive but you can spend twice as much and get less).

Fantastic hotel, one of the best ive stayed at. Id say the highlight was the service from all the staff. They go out of their way to help in every way. The breakfast options were limited and i felt the treatments at the spa were too expensive.
