Motel Home Wittenau Berlin

Die Zimmer in einem umgebauten Fabrikgebäude sind einfach aber praktisch ausgestattet. Es gibt einen kleinen Kühlschrank und einen Haarföhn. Flüssigseife und Duschgel in Wandhaltern. Auf dem weitläufigen Gelände gibt es einen Fitness- und Tischtennis Raum sowie Spielmöglichkeiten und Picknickplätze auf der Wiese. Der Parkplatz ist eingezäunt und mit einem Codeschloss zugänglich.

It was a place to sleep at night. Not much more than that. Check in closes so if you’re coming in late, good luck. I called their mobile number on the front door and was able to get the code to get my key at least. Don’t expect them to come make up your room at all, even if you put the sign on the door. It was clean though, so I can’t complain about that.

The motel is quite interesting as it is inside of one of the famous Borsig Steam Engine Works dating back to 1898. Beautiful red brick construction! The halls and rooms of this manufacturing plant were nicely converted into rooms with all modern amenities. Everything was supplied, and the space was comfortable and clean. It is also very quiet. From the window you have a wonderful view of the grounds with outdoor seating, a playground, fitness equipment, a pingpong table, and grilling area. There is a vending machine with beverages and snacks, but I along with other guests could not get it to cooperate. Lots of helpful brochures of places to visit in Berlin. It was a very good stay.

I had a very comfortable stay at the motel and they covered all the basic things anyone needs for staying in a new city. The garden was very nice to sit in, the property was generally pretty clean and it felt pretty safe. I think my only comment could be that the sheets were a little rough, probably just an individual preference. Maybe you could shift to softer ones, though?

The room I got was clean and quiet, I could sleep and rest well; the staff was nice and polite too.
