The breakfasts were superb. We felt we were dining in a fine restaurant on the enclosed porch. There was even music. Joan was very friendly, responsive to all our needs and made us feel at home. Her cat, Chippy was sweet.

Joan was so welcoming and helpful. Breakfast each morning was delicious! The Inn and grounds are beautiful with so much personal history. I wish we had more time to visit and see the area.

We loved staying at Buck’s Homestead B&B. The breakfasts were superb. The accommodations very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool. Our host was wonderful. The location great for accessing Newburgh, Beacon and other nearby towns and sights to visit.

Absolutely loved my stay here! It was so cozy and comfortable. My favorite part was having breakfast on the screened in porch in the morning. If I am back in the area, I would love to stay here again!

A beautiful, charming, and clean, old country home with many updates. Joan (owner) made me feel at home and comfortable. The 3 course breakfasts were delicious and filling enough to last me until dinner. I will recommend this B&B to my family and friends and will definately return myself someday. Very old property, tight room space, overloaded with stuff everywhere. One shared bathroom with other 3-4 guests. Old, unclean coffee machine in the hallway, shared by all guests. But, the owner is a nice lady & property has open fields around it. As it's twice as expensive as the hotels nearby, plus the tacked on cleaning fees at checkout, I would avoid it. Not recommended for a family with kids, unless you're booking the whole place.

Joan is an awesome host! She was helpful, friendly and professional! Breakfast was excellent, she checked with us about dietary restrictions before we arrived. Needs comfy, everything clean! We were less than 30 minutes from Storm King in a really nice setting. I highly recommend!

We had a lovely stay. Our host was very hospitable. We found our room and the entire property to be clean and comfortable. This would be a good location for someone looking for a relaxing low-key getaway. Our bathroom was private but was down the hallway so just to keep in mind that it is a home with some shared common spaces.

Fantastic trip to Montgomery made even better by staying here. Joan was so kind and accommodating, and made such a delicious breakfast every morning. We felt very at home, it was like staying with family & we were sad to leave! Our room was very comfortable, the location is beautiful, as is the house, with such an interesting history. Watching the birds, chipmunks and groundhogs was an added bonus! We can't say enough about what a great stay we had, we would come back in a heartbeat.

Super sweet location with a gracious host. Simple orientation to the B&B and great breakfast each morning. It's likely I'll be back in Montgomery and I will definitely stay here again. Another guest was in town for a wedding and so grateful he didn't get a hotel room with the rest of the wedding in time so he was forced to stay at Buck's - a much more peaceful and comfortable option. Thanks!

Charming farmhouse B&B, former dairy farm, run by lifelong owner, Joan. Guests will feel as if they have found their long-lost grandmother’s house they have always looked for. Very warm and charming. This place was just lovely. Our host, Joan, was super nice and accommodating. The property was great. Awesome location. The house is very quaint with lots of character. Her breakfasts were delicious!! I would recommend this place to anyone!

If you are looking for a rustic 1800s farmhouse b & b this the homestead is for you! Joan was a gracious host and the breakfast was excellent. Small local town with a few good restaurants and a delicious ice cream stand.

The breakfasts were superb. We felt we were dining in a fine restaurant on the enclosed porch. There was even music. Joan was very friendly, responsive to all our needs and made us feel at home. Her cat, Chippy was sweet.

The Buck's Homestead is a WONDERFUL place to stay. We loved that our host Joan made her family's home into a warm and welcoming B&B with a beautiful story and great hospitality. Breakfast was a delicious highlight: Joan was so considerate of our food allergies and made an excellent breakfast on both days (we so rarely get to each french toast!). We would absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful stay. Joan served great breakfasts on the screened-in porch, providing an excellent start to the day. Bed was comfy, room had a/c and a ceiling fan. I enjoyed learning about the family and house history. Great location on a country road, yet restaurants and stores were close by.

Joan is an awesome host! She was helpful, friendly and professional! Breakfast was excellent, she checked with us about dietary restrictions before we arrived. Needs comfy, everything clean! We were less than 30 minutes from Storm King in a really nice setting. I highly recommend!

Fantastic trip to Montgomery made even better by staying here. Joan was so kind and accommodating, and made such a delicious breakfast every morning. We felt very at home, it was like staying with family & we were sad to leave! Our room was very comfortable, the location is beautiful, as is the house, with such an interesting history. Watching the birds, chipmunks and groundhogs was an added bonus! We can't say enough about what a great stay we had, we would come back in a heartbeat.

Joan was very pleasant and accommodating. Her cats are sweethearts. We stayed 2 nights and the breakfasts both mornings were great. We also enjoyed the other guests!

Absolutely loved my stay here! It was so cozy and comfortable. My favorite part was having breakfast on the screened in porch in the morning. If I am back in the area, I would love to stay here again!

My stay at Bucks Homestead B&B was absolutely amazing! I was in town for my Best Friend’s wedding, and needed somewhere to stay for a couple of nights. I felt so welcomed during my entire stay. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous, and Joan was such a delight to speak with. The breakfast was beyond incredible. One of the absolute highlights of my stay was non other than Chippy, the sweetest cat I’ve ever met. I would absolutely recommend to anyone!

I can't reccommend Buck's Homestead highly enough! The property has a wonderful, comfortable and homey feel -- but with modern ammenities (like wifi, flat screen tv with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime, and a keurig coffee maker). Our hostess, Joan, was extremely friendly and accomodating (for instance, I'm a vegetarian, and she prepared a vegetarian breakfast for me. Also, we had to be on the road early for a return home, and she made us two bagged breakfasts we could bring with us on our drive home). It felt more like staying with a friend than staying at a property. If I ever have a reason to return to the area, I would absolutely stay at Buck's Homestead again!
