The property has a great location at the intersection of Ashworth & D Street. This is convenient to the center of the beach and the Seashell Stage. The pool was well used, the 24-hour coffee was good and we even used the gas grill for dinner on the 4th. The price was high but this was a holiday weekend near the beach. I would recommend Janmere.

The Janmere was a close walk to the beach, venues, shopping, and dining. The room decor was nice and the room was clean, had a full-sized refrigerator, kitchen sink, table, and microwave. I do wish the check-out was 11am instead of 10am, and the free, 24-hr, self-serve coffee was very watery (but a nice gesture to have available for guests). Overall, a good experience. They also had an outdoor pool and grills for the guests to use. I would stay there again.

This is my second year visiting this Motel and they have done alot to pep it up, especially after the flood. i wish I could go back there soon. They are so well situated and have so much to offer customers, they even have bbq grills we can use and a nice clean pool too. what else could you ask for. wish i didnt have to leave early because gf was sick.

Super friendly staff, good services, room was comfortable, clean and had all necessary supplies. Included a medium sized refrigerator. Pool was very nice and well maintained. Games were available on the grounds (Jenga, ping pong) and coffee & tea were offered in the lobby 24/7 with a microwave. One block from tge boardwalk/ beach, restaurants and stores. Will definitely be back.

They cleaning staff never checked our room from check in to check out They barely had it cleaned for 4pm check in. We saw them scrambling after 4 on the day before we checked out to get rooms ready for others checking in. We had to be very gentle with shower faucet it felt very brittle and could break off in our hand. The bed was comfortable and the ac though noisy worked amazing.

The air conditioning unit was covered in mold on the outside and rotting. I believe it contributed to both my boyfriend and I to become ill with terrible head colds. Put a damper on our vacation on the last two days. Needs to be replaced. Everything else was fine the bed was very comfortable.

We found the staff very accommodating and very friendly. The room has been updated and was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I plan on going back to this motel next time I go to Hampton beach and highly recommend this property.

Tough check in. No keys for our room and they couldn't find them. They brought up a grand master key and opened the door, surprise someone else was in there, just their luggage, never mind, close door. Given another room with a sorry about that here's an upgrade and a discount. Room was nice but shower did not have any shelf for soap and no safety handle. Floor was very dirty, turned our feet black when walking around barefoot. Asked for cleaning and they sent someone to mop. Floor was better. Plus side. Close to beach and quiet on the backside of motel away from road.

The hotel is in a great location. The room was nice and we enjoyed the pool. On the other hand, the floor in the room turned our feet black, we didn't have wifi or a microwave, and the staff didn't clean our room or check to see if we needed anything for the 3 days we stayed. At the end of the day, I most likely would stay here again.

The location was convenient for seeing a show at the Casino Ballroom. The window was only a screen with a shutter so we could hear every voice around us and smell the cigarette of everyone without any way of getting some quiet or break from the smell. We couldn’t believe there were no windows that closed !

Nice place especially for Hampton Beach. Only issues were we booked a queen bed and ended up with a full size and that annoyed us. Also there isn’t any real windows it’s old crank louver windows and it was freezing in the room at night and there’s nothing you can do about it but close curtains and deal with the never ending sea breeze blowing through the windows. Also the shower and Toilet never stopped running. Come to think of it the place was sort of a nightmare but pretty clean

We only stayed a couple of nights, so we wanted an inexpensive option. This was inexpensive. It was very clean, close to the beach and fit the bill. However a few things: The door did not deadbolt properly. Meaning at all. The deadbolt did not lock all the way in- it went about 1/8” in and that’s it. Not a very secure thing. There was no sprinkler head in the room. The screen on the window was seriously ripped. It has old style louvred windows, and even when they are all the way shut they still let on so much draft that the curtains moved. The standard queen room is seriously small. Not a big deal for us because we were at the beach all day and just slept there. If you are just going to be a couple of nights- like we were- this might be ok. But the deadbolt situation was concerning: my wife did not feel safe.

I checked into room 17A at 4pm and everything was fine, hung by the pool, showered, and up to the beach for dinner/drinks. As soon as I ordered, Janmere called me telling me they had given me the wrong room and needed me to go back there for a switch. I told them 45 minutes, but they left me a message that they would be moving my stuff out. I was irate, telling them this was not my fault and to not touch my stuff, I had to get my meal to go and hurry back. I feel I should get one night's refund, as they ruined my first night there

If I could rate this place zero stars I would. I have never had such an awful experience as dealing with this place & it’s zero customer service . I don’t know if it’s actually exists… tried to contact the office for hours to get into our room and NEVER got a response. Never got into our room nor did they refund our money. We had to find another place to spend the night!! I will never recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy! No one deserves such an experience like this.

Check is was at 3pm. we arrived early at 10:00am. We were told we would be called on the cell when it was ready. Never got a call. We checked back several times. After being on line for 45 minutes at 3:45pm, We finally were given keys to a room under construction. after waiting another 30 minutes we asked for a different room. We finally got into a room at 5:00. We understand the went thru a flood and construction work. But we should have gotten the first room available being we were there at 10am.

Audissey at check in was very helpful and professional. We were able to park and check in early. Loved the room, bed was comfortable, the fridge came in very handy. We have stayed at many hotels and motels at Hampton Beach over the years and will definitely return to the Janmere.

I loved getting a text that our room was ready sooner than the check in time and that we could park our car prior to check in! Super clean room! Staff was so helpful!

The property has a great location at the intersection of Ashworth & D Street. This is convenient to the center of the beach and the Seashell Stage. The pool was well used, the 24-hour coffee was good and we even used the gas grill for dinner on the 4th. The price was high but this was a holiday weekend near the beach. I would recommend Janmere.

Staff and motel was nice. Room very small. No hair dryer or microwave provided in room. Mini fridge in room. My departure was delayed by an 1.5 hours by an orgainized 1/2 marathon race. All roadways were blocked. No way to leave location. Hotel did not inform guest of this event. Claimed they were unaware roadways were blocked.

Walking distance to Hampton Beach and all venues on the Strip. In and out quickly with front desk. Room mostly clean but could use an update. Tub had some type of powder still in it. Didn't appear to be any way to turn heat on and it was a rainy, chilly night. Contact number for manager given at check in vs speaking to front desk?

The Janmere was a close walk to the beach, venues, shopping, and dining. The room decor was nice and the room was clean, had a full-sized refrigerator, kitchen sink, table, and microwave. I do wish the check-out was 11am instead of 10am, and the free, 24-hr, self-serve coffee was very watery (but a nice gesture to have available for guests). Overall, a good experience. They also had an outdoor pool and grills for the guests to use. I would stay there again.

Super friendly staff, good services, room was comfortable, clean and had all necessary supplies. Included a medium sized refrigerator. Pool was very nice and well maintained. Games were available on the grounds (Jenga, ping pong) and coffee & tea were offered in the lobby 24/7 with a microwave. One block from tge boardwalk/ beach, restaurants and stores. Will definitely be back.

Good job all the way around professionally efficiently, and friendly. I would definitely recommend Janmere to friends and family. The barbecue area was great, and we saw amazing fireworks right from the hotel patio… Thank you

Staff was helpful, pool was fun, but the room had prior guests hair in the sheets/bed, and in the bathtub. The shower would randomly get wicked hot & then also random bursts of ice cold. Overall was way too expensive for what it was.

The room was Ok. It was not worth the price. The ceiling was falling in. It was damp and the wall AC was very loud. There was NO blow-dryer in the bathroom. The mirror in the bathroom was old and warped. The floor needs to be washed.

I wouldn’t stay again. Everywhere on the property, including the rooms, smell like pot smoke. Thankfully we were only there 1 night. But I didn’t take a shower while there because my husband took one first. He said after getting in the shower it immediately went to scalding hot then freezing cold and no warm water returned. He took a very quick cold shower (after being scalded). So I wasn’t about to take one. The fitted sheet on the bed was too small and wouldn’t stay on the corners. So I tried not to move much during the night. The place has a few things going for it. It was walking distance to the concert venue and beach. It has 2 chairs outside of each room to sit outside. Looked like it had a decent pool and grill area. So if you don’t mind the constant smell of pot smoke and like cold showers, then this is the place for you.
