Parking was good, plenty off room. Reception desk person very good and helpful, my only issue was one member off staff and waiting in a cue. Hotel was good and generally pretty clean and tidy. Staff were helpful. The main thing was the breakfast could and should be better- Quality not great, and freshly cooked. Most off the food had been sat in the dishes for far to long, and tinned mushrooms where terrible! Fresh mushroom are a must. Our room was nice and bed comfy and a nice welcome break.

A nice clean, quiet property. Not much in immediate vicinity except a walkable gas station with M&S food, a Costa and a steak house to complement the in-house restaurant. Assuming you are not after a Range Rover or VW whose dealerships are next door. Very pleasant & helpful staff.

The hotel is part of main road services on the A34. Perfect for short stay travellers. Friendly reception, large clean rooms, walk-in shower. Huge TV set with many channels. No noise from the main road and quiet carpeted roomand corridor. M&S food shop at petrol station opposite, also McDonalds. Noisy coffee shop atmosphere in the hotel restaurant. Morning walk beside the busy road supplied me not only with plenty of petrol fumes but also delicious blackberries picked fresh from the pathside bushes. Car dealerships beside the hotel's no-charge car park gave the chance to window shop. A Costa coffee shop drive-through close by seemed to typify the general mood of the area.

The hotel entrancexwas welcoming and the staff were very polite. Going to my room on the 4th floor there was in the corridor an empty wine bottle, further down were 2 plates with half eaten food. These were there for a number of hours. My room was spotless apart from a couple of stains on the carpet. One of the bath towels had a huge hole in it.

I arrived about 8pm, very tired I wanted to watch the news , check emails, have a meal and sleep. The TV did not work, the guest login did not work, reception logged in my Ipad and I accepted the lack of TV. After a meal I went straight to bed. In the morning I noticed various bits of packaging from M & S and Zara I also found 2 used towels. On the washbasin there were 2 filthy flannels which were wet and appeared to have been used for cleaning muddy shoes. The shower mat had also been used and so it was apparent that the room had not been cleaned. I complained at reception to a lady who was most sympathetic and assured me her manager would call me. No such call transpired

All the staff we came into contact with were friendly , helpful, professional and efficient. Location was very convenient. The rooms were spotless , bed very comfortable . Buffet style breakfast was good with decent choice. A very minor niggle was that there weren't any biscuits in the room but would definitely stay here again when next in the area and recommend to family and friends

The stay was very nice with a good reception on arrival. However the room felt neglected. The chair in the room had the stuffing coming out of both sides and I feel that this should have been replaced before anyone stayed in that room. The quilt cover on one bed was torn and screwed up and it looked as though it had been mangled in a machine, again I do not think that this should have been used on a guest's bed. We were there to visit relatives so we weren't in the room very long so I didn't complain at the time. Otherwise it was clean.

We had an average stay, I expected a bit more. The standout element were the staff, they were very friendly and so helpful all the time! They went out of their way to check us in a bit earlier. What let it down are a few things, some of the tiles in our bathroom were broken, the shower floor needed a good scrub, there was a suspicious stain on the carpet (I did report this to be cleaned) and there was a very large gap (you could fit a couple of stacked pieces of paper through it!) at the bottom of our door that let in a lot of light and noise. We would still stay here again though, as the location is great and the staff really lovely.

Disappointing and not up to normal Marriott standard. Shower was poor and didn’t drain away so flooded bathroom floor and on a very hot night the air conditioning wasn’t up to the job! Two things that Marriott normally do well!

Easy parking. Rooms looking a little tired but very comfortable bed and very quiet. TV didn’t stay on , kept flickering on & Off ( could have been the weather). Reception staff very polite and friendly. Breakfast was OK. The music blasting from the kitchen clashed with the ambient music playing throughout the hotel.

Room was nice. Pillows were far too soft and collapsed down too much. My bed was fine but my wifes bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. Didnt take to the bathroom construction at all. Glass door and to some extent open to personal vision from outside. Its a no no. Water for room would be nice

Stayed here for two nights with my family whilst visiting Oxford and the Cotswolds. Good location, room was comfortable enough although the sofa bed for two children (5 and 9) wasn’t the most spacious of beds. Friendly hotel staff.

It’s a Courtyard, so nothing much to say — they’re all pretty much the same. The room was too small for us, and the bathroom wasn’t very user-friendly either.

booked a superior room which was double kind size bed, unpacked , tv not working so we were moved next door room which was two singles and room very dusty and unloved with stains on bedside cabinets, with no dressing gowns or slippers, on complaining at checkout only offered 20%discount on first night. overall no treated well and majority of staff need to go on a course on how to smile at guests and be polite. would not stay again

Room was excellent with a huge bed, breakfast was a little busy on occasions but staffwork very hard and everything worked fine, would like to say Zoe on the front desk and Kamila who runs the breakfast restaurant were absolutely fantastic people ,every hotel would be lucky to have people like these. Can’t praise the whole team enough.

There was nothing much around the area and the Taxi service was pretty poor on Sunday morning but everything else was fine . There was a lack of staff behind the bar though in the evening. Breakfast was very good and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

Shockingly slow check in. The TV in the room didn’t work, tried to call reception several times but no answer. Went down to reception to find a coach full of Japanese tourists had arrived. Not a chance of speaking to anyone for the next hour at least so just gave up. This is a supposed high end hotel. Unfortunately the service doesn’t remotely reflect that or the cost!

The hotel was busy but they seemed not to be able to cope with the number of people staying. Check-in took forever and the room they had allocated us was given away to a day guest. Breakfast was a sparse affair as they kept running out of food. Our room was not cleaned etc. as we discovered when we arrived back late, when nothing could be done about it.

We were working nearby for a period of 7 days. As usual my colleagues and I had a very comfortable stay at The Courtyard. The rooms were clean and well laid out. The only complaint I could have is the checking in procedure where our multiple bookings (via Hotels.com) seemed hard to find on the hotel system.

We were working nearby for a period of 7 days. As usual my colleagues and I had a very comfortable stay at The Courtyard. The rooms were clean and well laid out. Hotel was really nice,staff we're friendly. Beds we're very comfortable but the only downside was a cold shower but receptionist did explain a boiler had packed up. Geeat breakfast.

All the staff we came into contact with were friendly , helpful, professional and efficient. Location was very convenient. The rooms were spotless , bed very comfortable . Buffet style breakfast was good with decent choice. A very minor niggle was that there weren't any biscuits in the room but would definitely stay here again when next in the area and recommend to family and friends

The hotel was very clean. The shower in the room where I was booked had no hot water and I was promptly moved to another room. Staff were helpful with booking a taxi for me whenever I was going out. Overall, I had a pleasant stay.

A modern and attractive hotel. Rooms were comfortable but we didn’t like the glass door on the bathroom which gave less privacy and shone a light into the room if one of us got up at night. The breakfast was excellent. The bar and restaurant area is modern and comfortable. The hotel is situated in a business park and is very handy for the road networks.

A nice clean, quiet property. Not much in immediate vicinity except a walkable gas station with M&S food, a Costa and a steak house to complement the in-house restaurant. Assuming you are not after a Range Rover or VW whose dealerships are next door. Very pleasant & helpful staff.

It was clean, comfortable and an appropriate stay for business trip. It is within walking distance to Milton Park. The staff was also very helpful.

Stayed here for two nights with my family whilst visiting Oxford and the Cotswolds. Good location, room was comfortable enough although the sofa bed for two children (5 and 9) wasn’t the most spacious of beds. Friendly hotel staff.

The hotel is part of main road services on the A34. Perfect for short stay travellers. Friendly reception, large clean rooms, walk-in shower. Huge TV set with many channels. No noise from the main road and quiet carpeted roomand corridor. M&S food shop at petrol station opposite, also McDonalds. Noisy coffee shop atmosphere in the hotel restaurant. Morning walk beside the busy road supplied me not only with plenty of petrol fumes but also delicious blackberries picked fresh from the pathside bushes. Car dealerships beside the hotel's no-charge car park gave the chance to window shop. A Costa coffee shop drive-through close by seemed to typify the general mood of the area.

Parking was good, plenty off room. Reception desk person very good and helpful, my only issue was one member off staff and waiting in a cue. Hotel was good and generally pretty clean and tidy. Staff were helpful. The main thing was the breakfast could and should be better- Quality not great, and freshly cooked. Most off the food had been sat in the dishes for far to long, and tinned mushrooms where terrible! Fresh mushroom are a must. Our room was nice and bed comfy and a nice welcome break.

Hotel generally ok, but my issue is with the breakfast offering and staff knowledge! We needed gluten free options, and there were non on show! When we asked the staff, we were told that there were gluten free cornflakes in a cupboard somewhere, so they went to find someone who knew where, then we were told, there was also gluten free bread .... in the freezer!!!! A hotel of this standard should surely be able to do better than that???

There was nothing much around the area and the Taxi service was pretty poor on Sunday morning but everything else was fine . There was a lack of staff behind the bar though in the evening. Breakfast was very good and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

All good with room but huge delays with food - told 35 mins ended up being around 75 minutes so quite disappointing and was 10.30pm by time we finished eating, after sitting down at table around 8.45pm. Admittedly it was Christmas and they had a few parties for Xmas but nontheless still disappointing. Food was good but delays and lack of comms disappointing

The hotel was busy but they seemed not to be able to cope with the number of people staying. Check-in took forever and the room they had allocated us was given away to a day guest. Breakfast was a sparse affair as they kept running out of food. Our room was not cleaned etc. as we discovered when we arrived back late, when nothing could be done about it.

Overall this hotel was brilliant, in terms of feeling classy and making you feel like it's money well spent. You can tell this is a class above any premier inn or holiday inn by a mile. Our room was good, however they forgot a second towel as we was a couple and I found the bed and pillows to be quite uncomfortable, but I suppose that's my opinion and not a fact. The bar is nice to sit in just rather expensive. The breakfast was included in our package and I must say it was brilliant in terms of hot food, however in terms of your fruits etc, the selection was very poor. Only watermelon on 2 days, and a few apples and oranges in a basket

Air conditioning needs to be better. Breakfast selection was more on par with holiday inn express. No option on different eggs, only scrambled eggs available, bacon was very fatty. Nice orange juice though

Aircon was mediocre, didnt get cold and didnt really work sufficiently but was better than nothing. The internet locked TV was an issue for plugging my fire stick in so that was disappointing. Bed great and pillows good, shower was good but the mirror (looks high tech) was a let down as it steamed up badly but looks like it should be anti fog. Needs a fridge in the higher end rooms which was disappointing.

The Front House manager Craig is awesome and was very responsive. He goes out of his way to ensure that visitors enjoy their stay. The ample bus options make getting to and from downtown Oxford a breeze. Overall, great bang for your buck!

Basic room. TV channels wouldn't work, very low pressure in the shower at all times of the day. We were there for 2 nights and the maids didn't replenish coffee or tea. Neither did they remove any empty glasses. Not impressed at all and wouldn't recommend this hotel.
