The Hyatt Centric in Mountain View is in a great location. The hotel was super clean, the front desk was attentive and the rooms were big. We stayed 4 nights and we dined at the hotel restaurant and also The Pacific Catch restaurant across the street from The Hyatt Centric. The outdoor heated pool and hot tub and indoor gym were active and kept at a high standard. I appreciated the security which only allowed Hyatt Centric guests to access the guest room floors. Within walking distance were so many convenient stores (Starbuck's, Trader Joe's, Safeway, Kohl's and a movie theatre). Will definitely return to The Hyatt Centric when visiting Mountain View.

Beautiful property, restaurant is delicious, pool & jacuzzi were a nice treat and the rooms are updated my only complaint was the water pressure in my room was very low due to hard water on the shower head. Other than that great property close to restaurants, safeway, Starbucks etc.

Only stayed here for one night but staff was very friendly and accommodating. Truly the only downside was the additional 20 dollar a night parking fee.

Room was comfortable and had all the amenities needed. Fridge is small. Desk has lots of outlets for computers, etc. minimalist design of room worked well. Location is great and staff is friendly. Carpets in hallway on third floor need more attention.

This hotel is right next to a gym and parking garage. The hotel was very nice and clean inside. My room’s trash can was not emptied but the room overall was very clean and modern. I felt the hotel was out to nickle and dine the customer. Check is not till 5 and if it’s not your first time or a member you will be charged. There is a public parking garage and a manned garage next door. You are asked to pay $20 a night for the manned garage. I chose the public. It was fine. I have no real reason to recommend this place to others.

The first thing I do when entering the hotel room is to check the cleanliness of the bathroom and that will tell me how lazy the housekeeper is. This housekeeper left hair in my sink and hair on the shower floor & wall. Apparently this lady couldn’t figure out that a clean bathroom is not a top priority. I love showering with other people’s hair on my feet and stuck to the wall.

We stayed here for an event at the Shoreline Amphitheatre and we will definitely be back. Clean, well-appointed rooms, nice comfortable beds, mini-fridge, keurig machine, Dry Bar hair dryer, fantastic bathroom. The staff was accommodating with our early check in request. Parking is a reasonable $20 and the surrounding area offers plenty of food options. In house restaurant is quite nice as well. Great stay.

Problems started the moment we arrived. The only reason we booked here was because they had rooms with 2 queen beds. When we arrived we were told they had a problem with the HVAC in some rooms and all they had were king bed & sleeper couch. When we got to the room, there was zero bedding for the sleeper couch. I tried to call the front desk, but the phone handset did not work, forcing me to go back down to the front desk to request bedding. When I said the phone did not work, they said "that happens sometimes, just use the speakerphone". When housekeeping arrived to makeup the couch, we received a call from the front desk (I used the speakerphone) saying a noise complaint had been made. I said THEIR housekeeper was there making the bed and causing the noise!! Later we discovered the cold water tap was not working. The tap was mounting was loose, so i climbed under the sink and tightened it as best as I could and it mostly worked. I was not able to check my bill using the in-room TV - it just gave an error. We will NOT be back.

This hotel was an excelent bargain for the price. The facility appears to be relatively new and is very clean and well maintained. We had only a standard king room, but it was quite spacious with a desk and sofa as well as closet and drawer storage. The bathroom has a shower large enough for two and a sink-vanity area that can also be used by two. There is a restaurant on site for breakfast and dinner. The hotel is in a complex of a number of work-live mixed use buildings so there are several other food options nearby. My only negative is that the room lighting is rather limited, causing areas away for the bed or desk to be more dimly lit. This seems to be a problem in many of the newer hotels I've stayed in recently. I guess they're trying to save on electricity!

We stay here when visiting our Son's family in Los Altos and have found it to be a very nice property with professional & helpful staff... conceptually we really like it. This visit was a disappointment in that the room was too cold... we turned up the thermostat to 77, but the room did not warm enough. We call for assistance and a maintenance person came up and showed me that we needed to turn up the fan/blower... he did and left. The room didn't warm any better. There is clearly a problem with the overall system... in the hallway immediately outside of our room, it felt about 10 degrees warmer than in our room. We love this hotel, but will not be able to stay there going forward if the climate control malfunction is not corrected.

The front desk is very unhelpful & untrained, lack of efficiency. They made it so inconvenient to get any help from them, borrowing an umbrella needs 15 minutes waiting and then signing the paper work. There is a long line in front of front desks during my time there.

A very pleasant stay! Would highly recommend! Came in with my elderly mother for a quick stay to see family. This hotel exceeded my expectations, easy check-in, clean, quiet, and the amenities and room condition were beyond lovely. The hotel had easy parking for a reasonable rate as well as it felt safe and lots of food, exercise options right around the property! Definitely will go back next time I'm in the Bay Area!

Convenient location. Property had all we wanted or needed but the check in was rough. They didn’t have our room ready at check in. We were put in the queue and forgotten, while others who arrived after us were given their room. We were on a schedule, as we had a concert that night. Overall, our stay was great, aside from the issues trying to check in.

All was good, except: When checking in, the room was not ready, so we sat in the lobby and waited until it was... at 4:10pm we left our bags and went out to meet our ride. At check out, there were two charges on our bill that were not ours... the attendant said that she could not remove them, but would have to "wait for her manager to return," so we left to get our flight. Later the eMail receipt was sent to us, but still had the two items that were not ours. I called the hotel the following day from home and the attendant apologized and said she\'d review it and call me. I have not received a call back after two days, and the two charges remain on our card. This lack of professionalism is disappointing... we (and they) have wasted far more time than the $113 that the two charges amounted to???????

Before i bookes the room (through Expedia) I called the hotel to ensure i was booking a room that had a large tub, for tgis stay a queen suite. I was assured this room would have it. Upon arrival it was a standard tub, and no other suites were avaliable. This isnt such a big deal, except for the fact that this is the THIRD TIME that i have been misinformed about my room type. It seems that people who work at yhe desk should know the room types and amenities, and every time i call ahead i am assured i will get the tub but i dont. Ive spent alot more money on upgraded room types (im not asking for it for free) and now I dont want to stay here anymore because of this.

Before i bookes the room (through Expedia) I called the hotel to ensure i was booking a room that had a large tub, for tgis stay a queen suite. I was assured this room would have it. Upon arrival it was a standard tub, and no other suites were avaliable. This isnt such a big deal, except for the fact that this is the THIRD TIME that i have been misinformed about my room type. We stayed here for an event at the Shoreline Amphitheatre and we will definitely be back. Clean, well-appointed rooms, nice comfortable beds, mini-fridge, keurig machine, Dry Bar hair dryer, fantastic bathroom. The staff was accommodating with our early check in request. Parking is a reasonable $20 and the surrounding area offers plenty of food options. In house restaurant is quite nice as well. Great stay.

A very pleasant stay! Would highly recommend! Came in with my elderly mother for a quick stay to see family. This hotel exceeded my expectations, easy check-in, clean, quiet, and the amenities and room condition were beyond lovely. The hotel had easy parking for a reasonable rate as well as it felt safe and lots of food, exercise options right around the property! Definitely will go back next time I'm in the Bay Area!

I've stayed here before and I will do so again. It's a great hotel- very conviently located. It's clean and they have paid parking available. They have a great happy hour. Two things: this Hyatt is a Pepsi hotel (bleh) and also they have a check-in feature that doesn't always work. It's suppose to let you know when the room is ready via text and it honestly, never works for me. However, across the hotel is a restaurant with a great wine list. So, wait at Pacific Catch while you wait and then go back to the hotel for your room. Anyhow, the room is great and spacious. The shower doors are interesting, I feel like they never properly close and water always escapes, but it's not too bad. The water pressure is amazing! I love staying here and can't wait to return.

Beautiful property, restaurant is delicious, pool & jacuzzi were a nice treat and the rooms are updated my only complaint was the water pressure in my room was very low due to hard water on the shower head. Other than that great property close to restaurants, safeway, Starbucks etc.

We were going to the BTS concert I had to check in earlier. Although we couldn’t check in, they kept our baggage. We didn’t have to wait to collect than five minutes when we came back. It was easy. We got our keys and went up to our room. The only complaint I had was we had a sweet and we needed bedding for the pullout couch. I took an hour for them to bring that and when they did, they forgot the sheets..
