This was a good experience the breakfast is decent. The gym is small, but it gets the job done. There was I think cranberry juice on the curtains room 202 but everything else was clean. This was an all a good experience.

Breakfast very good. Did not like the hot tub had sand it wasn’t clean for 2days so we only were able to enjoy one day the rest of the time we could’n.

While the stay was nice, going in and out of the parking lot was way more tight than it should be and then charging $10 for parking without notifying me are why I don’t give it a 4/5 stars. Breakfast was also pretty bland.

Very nice hotel close to highway 101 but could not hear any road noise. Free breakfast in the morning was very nice, good way to start your day!!! Parking was $10 a day and it’s underground. Hotel has a great location food is quick drive.

Hyatt Place worked very well for me. It is in a bit of an odd location but if you have a car that's not a problem. The area is safe and there is a big mall with lots of stores and restaurants, even a Bristol Farms, about a half mile away, across the freeway if you are on foot. A very nice local Mexican restaurant is next door. The room was great, clean, quiet, typical Hyatt Place. Breakfast was simple but very good. The hotel has a bar so you can grab a cocktail or glass of wine in the evening and take it up to your room or enjoy by the outdoor fireplace. They do have a workout room and spa ... but I did not use either. There were some minor things like half of my room window curtain was stuck shut and they had NO regular black tea, just herbal tea at breakfast and I just drink regular black tea. Overall I would stay there again without hesitation.

Overall the hotel was nice. I thought the rooms were cleaned well; however the elevator lobby of the first floor in the garage smelled like Urine, which was terrible!

Was able to accommodate our baseball team and family. Didn't like the blood stains on the bedsheets, which were on both beds. However, the staff brought new sheets quickly, once we notified them.

To our greatest disappointment, we were met with insects in the bathroom as well as severely scuffed bed sheets upon arriving to our assigned room. We decided to give the management benefit of the doubt and kindly returned to the front desk to report the issue to the representative on duty. He apologized for this incident and promised the sheets would be changed promptly. We left the property to give the cleaning team the opportunity to remediate to the situation. We returned a couple hours later and noticed the same issues. The front desk offered no solution, no compassion and no regrets as to what customers were being met with at this Hyatt location. We decided to check-out immediately and not stay for the night we had initially booked. The thought of spending the night in such hazardous environment was inconceivable.

The room was very dark and dingy. Not a lot of room. Only one side of the bed had an outlet, there was a couch in the room but it was very uncomfortable. The property was well maintained and the staff were very nice. Good parking. But the breakfast room was overcrowded and had more limited options (or maybe they were just “out” of things) ?

paid $566 + tax = $660 per night. i was so disappointed. you look out the window. you see U Hual and other industrial companies. no ocean view. the location is located in very busy commercial area. the bathroom curtain is ripped. for $660/night, I would find another hotel.

My room was spacious and clean and I found the location very convenient. My only quibble was that I thought it was kind of loud...there was some weird whirring noises I kept hearing coming from outside or inside the room, like a fan that was on except there wasn't one on that I could find. Perhaps the noise was coming from another room but it was intermittent through my whole stay. So, thin walls aside, I would recommend!

Rooms extremely small. We were stepping over our 2 suitcases the whole time. The air conditioner was cheesy and antiquated. Blows air right on you when sleeping! The windows don’t open. And the pillows kinda smell like other people. The breakfast has a good vibe. Fun going down there for free food and coffee. Nice atmosphere with very nice outdoor patio as well. Good area. Good service.

First night, room above us was so noisy, kids running and jumping until 2-3 in the morning. The next night, I’m not sure what was happening above us, but there was noise from moving furniture for a few hours. We could hear the showers from above. Could not rest. Mattress on sofa bed was horrible. Could not use the sofa bed as we could feel the frame wires upon laying down on it. The sofa itself was sunken in. Toothbrushes were of poor quality, bristles coming off the brush. Front desk told us we had to get the brushes ourselves as he was alone at the front desk and no one could bring it to our room. Parking garage was so tiny that we ended up parking outdoors, but we’re still charged $40 even though I explained the situation to them. Doors in the hallways were wide open at all times, morning and night which made us feel unsafe. Overall, not happy with our stay considering our room was $440 nightly on Friday and Saturday night and we had 2 rooms.

The staff that checked us in were very unprofessional and on their phones instead of helping us. The breakfast was not good and not worth the price based on the amenities. Would not stay there again.

The property itself is very nice. The rooms are on the smaller side, but well designed. It worked well for our family of 3 and a dog. The front desk staff were not the best though. They were unwelcoming and terse when we checked in, and then when we had a noise complaint btwn 10-11p for the room above, they were curt and did not appear to have taken any action to try to notify the room above, even though they said they had. We ended up knocking on the door of the room above to ask them to lessen their stomping, and they apologized and immediately stopped. We spoke to a manager the next day who was great and apologized, but we were very frustrated that we had to take matters into our own hands due to front desk staff not willing to follow their protocol for noise complaints and doing not even the bare minimum of their jobs. Although the property was nice and I thought good value, I don’t think I would stay here again due to the level of service.

Arriving and checking in wasn’t the best experience, a young lady didn’t communicate much and was rude when asked questions. The wasn’t welcoming at all. The following day the new front desk clerk was more friendly and answered my questions without any attitude. Hotel was very clean and kept up tidy. Pretty much a quiet nice beside people checking in late and having no regard for the guest, not the hotels issue.

They were mopping the lobby when we got there. The chairs in the lobby were all on the tables. It stunk. The girl at the front desk was not polite. We asked to cancel and move to another hotel. She told us that she would allow it but Hotels.com would not. We called Hotels.com and they said they would allow to move somewhere else. They called the girl at the front desk and she said no, so she lied. This hotel is a 2 star if that. Don't stay here.

I arrived early and there was no room ready. Tyler, the manager took my bag and set me up outside by the fire. Very relaxing. He greeted me in the morning and put my bags in the Uber. Great person Perfect employee. He deserves a raise or, at least, an award!
I arrived early and there was no room ready. Tyler, the manager took my bag and set me up outside by the fire. Very relaxing. He greeted me in the morning and put my bags in the Uber. Great person Perfect employee. He deserves a raise or, at least, an award!

The staff went above and beyond when they found my daughter’s doll after we checked out before we even realized it was missing. We were already far from the property and the front desk immediately offered to ship to our home. Our daughter has ASD and losing stuffed animals can seriously trigger her so this was truly an incredible act of kindness by the staff. We are eternally grateful and had a very lovely stay!

The hotel was clean and in a convenient location but the afternoon front desk staff should all be fired. While waiting 15 minutes for Uber to pick me and my family up, two people at the front desk never acknowledged anybody coming in or going, and all they did was wear their headphones and talked about working for one of the competitive hotel chains. Once someone asked for directions to the bathroom, they just pointed without opening their mouth. I will not be staying here again.

Pros: dog-friendly, rooms are spacious, cleanliness, parking is accessible. Cons: The morning front-desk staff was rude to us. I really felt that we were not welcome there. It was my wedding day too and we received a call from the front desk (morning staff) to tell me that I have to escort our make-up artist to our room. I have no problem with this, but the way they talked to me about it was very rude and condescending. Also, they made my make-up artist pay for parking even though they said they only charge for overnight parking (11pm-7pm). I just wish they are really more kind and use a different approach. When we were checking in too, I was talking to front-desk guy (same person), and I was explaining our situation to him since we booked several rooms, I saw him rolling his eyes. paid $566 + tax = $660 per night. i was so disappointed. you look out the window. you see U Hual and other industrial companies. no ocean view. the location is located in very busy commercial area. the bathroom curtain is ripped. for $660/night, I would find another hotel.

I was a little hesitant with staying here because of the mixed reviews online, however I had no issues at all. Check in was smooth and fast. The room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint is you can hear when people are outside your room or walking around above you. The breakfast was convenient and decent. We also enjoyed the Mexican restaurant just across the parking lot, which was convenient to walk to. The location was just off the freeway which was nice. Overall my family and I had a pleasant stay.

Don't order bar food, order a chicken caeser, asked if we wanted chicken? Then 2 pieces of chicken and just leaves for like 12 bucks. Everything is still in disposible containers as are most of the breakfast cutlery/plates etc. Girl on front desk was either highly or should have been. Rooms were however clean and comfatable. Breakfast ends really early and as a result not enough tables to sit at leaving guests wandering around with food unable to sit. Needs better management.

The hotel was noisy. The clock was not set to the correct time and couldn't be fixed. Then the alarm went off at 400 am and even after unplugging it, it kept going off. The breakfast was out of coffee and lots of the items and it was not replenished.

Room was very clean. Loved the jacuzzi! Great breakfast!!! Coffee was tasty. Nice selection of teas. Bed was comfortable. Would definitely stay here again when in town.

Hyatt Place worked very well for me. It is in a bit of an odd location but if you have a car that's not a problem. The area is safe and there is a big mall with lots of stores and restaurants, even a Bristol Farms, about a half mile away, across the freeway if you are on foot. A very nice local Mexican restaurant is next door. The room was great, clean, quiet, typical Hyatt Place. Breakfast was simple but very good. The hotel has a bar so you can grab a cocktail or glass of wine in the evening and take it up to your room or enjoy by the outdoor fireplace. They do have a workout room and spa ... but I did not use either. There were some minor things like half of my room window curtain was stuck shut and they had NO regular black tea, just herbal tea at breakfast and I just drink regular black tea. Overall I would stay there again without hesitation.

How can this hotel have a good rating? This is the first negative feedback I have given a hotel in quite a while. I don’t like to complain but will make an exception in this situation. Not all bad… the breakfast was OK. Aside from that there wasn’t much to be happy about. First and foremost.. This is a small, warm and stuffy room with cheap and rundown furniture and a very noisy air conditioner. I set the A/C on low speed but it only had one speed which was quite noisy. We spoke to the manager and were told we would be given some accommodation, but he disappeared and we have not heard back from him. We paid over $700 for two nights. Really disappointed and wonder about Hotels.com rating system.
