Great location, 10 mins walk along the old walks to the city. Quiet area. Lovely room and very clean. Fantastic English full breakfast included. Free parking. Couldn't ask for more. Well recommended

Great breakfast ideas, and excellent service. The breakfast that we had were very tasty. Evening meals were also great well worth coming back for. Good selection of drinks at the bar very nice public area.

Friendly staff, comfy beds, great pub atmosphere, easy walking distance to Xmas market.

This is a gem of a place for visiting the York Barbican, free car parking, a nice lovely room, absolutely lovely welcome and a warm atmosphere from the staff, breakfast is amazing, honestly I will stay here again and i would recommend. We had an evening meal here also, and it was excellent, proper Home Cooking, excellent thank you to the staff, if you read this...thank you

Great location to access the city/uni on foot. The landlord couldn't have been more helpful, great service. The room was great for our purposes, just for one night, nothing fancy but good value and a bonus to have free parking and leave the car there the next day.
