We were here for one night. Love the view of the river and river front. But the property itself was not at par. Dated, too rustic for us TV was stuck crooked on a side corner that made it hard for us to watch Got a crick in the neck. The water faucet dripped and the fan creaked all the time. Could not sleep well here. Bed was King size but uncomfortable. They had a cushion that was icky, looked and felt like used by many people and not cleaned . It did not feel worth the value or charge. They have a short flight of very unsafe steps up to the cabin. My husband slipped twice and I almost tumbled down Would not recommend and will not stay again

Beautifully situated On the saint lawrence river. The Stairs to the parking lot were horrible. We had someone with a disability with us who had a difficult time getting up and down them. The place wasn't bad. We only stayed one night

Almost no customers. End of season. It took 40 minutes to get a room where the pass key would work. The cooling unit was too high for me to reach. Fortunately my 6' grandson was there to help. The cement step from parking were in poor condition. Potential trip hazards. But the room and bath were clean. The view and outside facilities were nice.

Convenient to wedding venue. Room was comfortable. Steps and walkway are dangerous where our room was overlooking the river. All uneven/broken and especially dangerous when it was raining. All the hotels on that road seemed to look the same.

Overall I would give it a 7 out of 10. Checking in took too long, then had to ask for receipt after paying in full when checked in. The cement steps leading to the rooms was broken and crumbling and the room air conditioner by the room door was dangerous. Someone could hit their head on it if not really careful.

Staff didn’t know how to make a key took 4 trys to get in a room bathroom had broken seat and wouldnt flush steps were broken and out of repair. High step to get in room . Room was not worth the price.

It was so bad! We arrived to check in. No place to check in. we called and the person said come up to the Grand View, which we did. The lady checked us in. we returned to the Winjammer. the room was a MESS! We took pictures and returned to the Grand View. Told the lady to cancel our stay!

Excellent location for viewing the boats on the st Lawrence. We enjoyed spectacular weather so sat in chairs by the seaway and enjoyed a beverage upon arrival. In the morning sat at a picnic table and again just enjoyed the view. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and shower was new.

When we arrived the room was not cleaned the sink , tub , toilet were dirty and the floor in the bathroom was filthy behind the door there were spider webs and spiders in the bathroom and other room also one of the beds wasn't stripped and changed had hair in bed and on top of bed.i showed the young man and he agreed it was not clean and called the cleaning girl who gave attitude because she had to come back. We were already late for the party we were attending so we left when we returned the one bed still wasn't cleaned she just picked the hair off I really was very disappointed in my experience with you

Was just odd having to check in at another location 1 mile away and the drive back a mile to the lodge. After being on the go since 4:30am it was just another aggravation. Staff was pleasant and room was clean A+

Nice place to stay with terrific water views. The room comes with a fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable, and the shower worked well. At least when we stayed, check in and breakfast were nearby at the Gran View Inn (sister property), so not the most convenient - and the breakfast wasn't anything terrific, but the location definitely has a nice view and setting, along with all the other aspects we like in a place. Would we stay here again? Probably, esp if it's cheaper than the two nearby places closer to Ogdensburg. We enjoyed it.

We liked the site with the view. The room was clean and well kept. The facilities are old and might need an update. The air Clim is noisy. The coffee pot did not work but overall the sight , the calm, the reference for meals made us forget about the Loy disappointment. I recommend it.

The room heater was broken and had to get a space heater from staff. The tub did not drain, couldn't take a shower. No where on line does it tell you to check in at the other motel I mile down the road before a certain time. Nit the worst place in the world. Once we got heat. the room was comfortable and quiet. Probably would stay at their sister motel next time.

The front desk agent was extremely lovely. Very nice, polite and friendly. We locked ourselves outside late at night and he drove over to give us new keys in less than 5 minutes. The room was very clean at out arrival and they kept it that way during our stay. The housekeeper even folded some clothes we had left on the bed! Thank you very much for an impeccable experience.

Beautifully situated On the saint lawrence river. The Stairs to the parking lot were horrible. We had someone with a disability with us who had a difficult time getting up and down them. The place wasn't bad. We only stayed one night

Nice place to stay with terrific water views. The room comes with a fridge and microwave. The bed was comfortable, and the shower worked well. At least when we stayed, check in and breakfast were nearby at the Gran View Inn (sister property), so not the most convenient - and the breakfast wasn't anything terrific, but the location definitely has a nice view and setting, along with all the other aspects we like in a place. Would we stay here again? Probably, esp if it's cheaper than the two nearby places closer to Ogdensburg. We enjoyed it.

Excellent location for viewing the boats on the st Lawrence. We enjoyed spectacular weather so sat in chairs by the seaway and enjoyed a beverage upon arrival. In the morning sat at a picnic table and again just enjoyed the view. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and shower was new.

Everything was great food was amazing 10/10. Except the beds had lil lumps in the mattress and the phone service sucks there was absolutely no service unless using Wi-Fi, but couldn’t make calls or receive calls.

Check in was quick and easy. Staff was friendly and gave us dinner options. Room was clean and comfortable. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker were nice to have in our room. View of the St. Lawrence River was beautiful to wake up to! Excellent stay and very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay here again.

My stay was wonderful!! We were in town for the 4th of July to view the fireworks in Alex Bay and this was the closest hotel I could get. While we wanted to do a little sightseeing, I so wish I could have had more time just to spend watching the river, utilizing pool and cooking out on the grill. We did use the firepit, which was great, just don't forget the bug repellent!!! They loved my Pennsylvania skin!! Our room was on the Riverside, but don't be concerned if one isn't available for you, just walk around poolside and enjoy the view!! I would absolutely stay there again!!

This is my 6th time staying here & always have a great stay(always 2 wks) Now new owners. I tried to check in a day early for our2 wk stay & claimed booked/full but it was a lie…and I said I’ll pay for it. Then when we checked in they were finishing up getting room ready & said they just turned Air on. This was around 11:30 am we put our items in room & left for the day & returned around 8:35pm & walked into a 100 degree room. Young lady said maintenance won’t be in until tomorrow at 8am I said well something needs to be done, she came to our room and turn knobs & no luck. Gave us a fan. Next morning nobody called or showed up, so I called 8:45 & a different lady gave the I was just talking to maintenance guys & they would check out, they come & we leave 9:15am again leave for day come back at 8:30 pm again same 100 degrees, I call & female answers already with a attitude. So no this and no that. I said we’ll run over to Lowes and buy 1 and replace it? We can’t we already purchased new ones but on back order (was told later in stay a lie) well that still doesn’t fix the air. So she would leave a note for morning lady. I had to call again in the morning the same guys came & said wehave a actually air guy coming. So we left again. And about 3 hrs later then called said all fixed. We get back at 9pm and room was cold but the unit was so loud. When I called they were like it’s cold?We ended up for the rest of are stay running when not there & using fan…

Nice clean place, good price, decent amenities. The only thing stopping me giving a 5 star rating is that I had to go to their other location to check in and out. Not a huge inconvenience, only a couple miles away, but it was a bit of a surprise and meant I had to leave a little earlier to get to my appointment on time.
