La estancia en Joey’s Hostel en Agra fue bastante decepcionante. A medianoche se fue la luz y el aire acondicionado dejó de funcionar. Después, tampoco había agua caliente. La recepción no hizo nada para solucionar la situación. Si dejáis las maletas en las consignas, tened cuidado: no están vigiladas y los lockers no tienen candado. El baño solo tiene una cortina, y el agua se salía, llegando incluso a la habitación. Como único punto positivo, la ubicación es muy buena, cerca de la entrada este del Taj Mahal, y las vistas desde la terraza son agradables.

The location is perfect, right next to the Taj and the room was clean and comfortable as well. We were able to just sit in the cafe and see the taj with my coffee in the evening. Staff was helpful and attentive too. They helped sort out my travel plans going forward. Would definitely visit again.

The location is great as is so near the Taj Mahal...the rooms where ok but the service we recieved in the rooftop restaurant was great. Very attentive and theu found us some secret beer served in a gorgeous china stein / mug. The view from the rooftop of the Taj at sunset and at nigjt os stunning..

個室を予約したら、隣のHotel Saniya palace Inn の部屋に泊まることになった。 チェックイン自体はJoey's Hostel Agra でできたので問題なかったが、Saniya palaceは奥まった場所に入り口があり、そこに行くための脇道が不快だった。 野犬が寝ている、悪臭がする酷い道だった。 ホテルの中は比較的清潔で、スタッフの対応も良かっただけに残念だった。

It was one of the highlights of my three week long trip. An amazing view of the Taj Mahal, the staff were super friendly and helped me with a currency exchange, the food at the hostel was great, I loved everything about it. Met some awesome other travelers. The whole experience was more than I expected and I would love to come back again if I'm ever close.
