This is such a beautiful B&B. It is a reasonable walk out of the city centre, but I enjoyed the quiet location in a character home. The room, view, garden, and breakfast were all amazing. I would recommend this property to everyone.

There are two flights of stairs, but manageable. Lovely decor and shared bath was not a problem. Easy walk to bus stop.The staff was very sweet and accommodating. We would love to return!

A simply wonderful stay in Florence thanks to Irene and Lucia. Probably the most comfortable bed we've had in all of Italy! Breakfast is perfect too. We had a day trip into Siena that had us leave before breakfast would be served but Luci packed us up a small take away breakfast for our trip the night before. We also enjoyed a local wine and antipasta out in the back courtyard one evening, making it feel like we were in our own back yard. 5 minutes to bus stop, 30 minute walk into town. Truly a wonderful experience!

This is a great BnB! It has a beautiful garden outside. The rooms are clean, and the shared bathroom was also very very clean. The neighborhood is super cute, it is out of the super touristy area, and it's a beautiful walk to city center on the water. Breakfast was very good, so was the coffee. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely lovely B&B in a quiet neighbourhood, easily walkable along Arno to city core. Breakfast has many options for all dietary needs. Decor of historic building is pretty and tastefully done for a romantic atmosphere. Will stay here again! Also loved the garden!

Una experiencia maravillosa el hospedarse en Residenza Cecchi ❤️ Desde la llegada, el ingreso muy fácil, la primera impresión es de una casa tradicional, de familia, con zonas comunes muy bonitas y bien decoradas. Nuestra habitación preciosa, amplia, con baño integrado. Los detalles de los muebles y el baño preciosos, las ventanas, y sin tv 🙏 Incluyendo el desayuno es un beneficio extra, sencillo pero muy rico, con máquina de café a base de cápsulas, pan, mermeladas, carnes frias, cereal, lechae, frutas... Y el ambiente casero 💕 Muchas gracias a las chicas de la casa, fueron muy amables. ☺️👋🤗❤️ Pd: quise agregar fotos pero la app no me lo permitió, pero la casa es más bella que en las fotos del anuncio

We were hesitant because we thought it might be far to walk but it was perfect. Spotlessly clean, much quieter than the other side of the river, and spacious, well-equipped room and good WiFi. The breakfast was excellent, in a lovely room with a pretty patio and garden out back. Two full bathrooms meant there was plenty of availability for all the guests. Very good price, too. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and have already recommended it to a friend coming to Florence in April. It would be great for a larger family staying together. They could rent the entire place.

Ótima experiência, quarto limpíssimo, o banheiro compartilhado também, toalhas limpas e macias, atendente super simpática, café da manhã maravilhoso. Nós amamos! Fica em média 35/40 minutos a pé do centro da cidade e nós fizemos tudo a pé mesmo. Caso precise, tem ponto de ônibus bem próximo.

The room was lovely and big. Everything was very clean. Airconditioning helped with the summer heat. Shared bathroom which was pristine. Delicious morning breakfast. Close to public transport but also only about a 30min walk away from all the relevant galleries/museums.

We are so happy we booked a stay with Residenza Cecchi. It's off the beaten track but well worth it to escape the crowds on the side of the river. We were able to explore the Oltrarno neighborhood which feels much more relaxed than the main tourist spots. We had no problem getting around, but expect to walk a fair bit since it's a bit further out. About 30-35 minutes walk to near the Santa Maria Novella. The B&B itself is beautiful. Quiet, well-appointed, and Lucy - the staff member who took care of the breakfast - was so warm and welcoming and friendly. What a sweet person! She made our stay that much more enjoyable! We stayed in the Blue room, and the bed was large and very comfortable, with excellent AC to help us cool off. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Breakfast was simple but perfect European fair, with Lucy helping us make cappuccinos each morning. Last but not least, there are two cats that made appearances at breakfast each morning, which as a cat lover, really put the whole experience over the top for me. I can't recommend this place enough! If you want a quiet, welcoming, warm stay in Florence far from the chaos of the crowds.

Posizione tranquilla, ma abbastanza vicina al centro città. La camera è ampia, pulita ma essenziale, anche se ben arredata e con molti particolari di gusto. Prima colazione di qualità, anche se potrebbe essere arricchita. Personale disponibile e gentile. Tutto sommato una buona soluzione.

Right from the start communication with Irene was exceptional. Irene answered questions quickly and was very friendly and accommodating. Although not advertised, Irene made every effort to cater to our dietary requirements for breakfast which was really appreciated. The online guide supplied when we booked was very informative and we loved being slightly outside of the busy centre of Florence and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the accommodation and area. It didn’t take long to walk to all the usual sights and being close to the river made for a lovely walk into the centre. Our room was so spacious and quiet. The air conditioning was really welcome too so we Could avoid the mosquitoes! The staff on hand every morning were so friendly and helpful and made everything a breeze. A fantastic stay and highly recommended. Thank you to the team at Residenza Cecchi! ❤️

The property was beautiful and clean. It was my first experience with a B&B and didn’t think about having to share a bathroom with strangers. I personally don’t want to share a bathroom because of germs and not having to the leisure when I wanted to use the bathroom. If you are ok with that then it’s great.

Really lovely B&B. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was really nice and staff who set it out were friendly and helpful. It is in nice quiet area, at least a 20 minute walk to the main sites. Would recommend!

This is a wonderful BnB in Florence with very good public transport connectivity to the center of Florence. Excellent dining options within walking distance; even a laundromat and a grocery store within a 5 min walk. From the day we booked our stay here the host Irene kept us informed of the check in process, and ensured our stay was comfortable. This is a wonderful BnB in Florence with very good public transport connectivity to the center of Florence. Excellent dining options within walking distance; even a laundromat and a grocery store within a 5 min walk. From the day we booked our stay here the host Irene kept us informed of the check in process, and ensured our stay was comfortable. We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Residenza Cecchi, located in a beautiful and quiet area of Florence. Check-in was very easy, thanks to Irene’s assistance before our arrival, and a special thank you to Lucia for her help during our stay, which made everything smooth. We highly recommend this hotel!

Really enjoyed our stay. Everything was as advertised. Fantastic support from them. Answered all questions I asked prior to our arrival. That was exact opposite of our expereience with accommodation in Pisa, but less said soon mended there. Bus 23 direct into Florence very near accommodation. Overall a great stay.

Right from the start communication with Irene was exceptional. Irene answered questions quickly and was very friendly and accommodating. Although not advertised, Irene made every effort to cater to our dietary requirements for breakfast which was really appreciated. The online guide supplied when we booked was very informative and we loved being slightly outside of the busy centre of Florence and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the accommodation and area. It didn’t take long to walk to all the usual sights and being close to the river made for a lovely walk into the centre. Our room was so spacious and quiet. The air conditioning was really welcome too so we Could avoid the mosquitoes! The staff on hand every morning were so friendly and helpful and made everything a breeze. A fantastic stay and highly recommended. Thank you to the team at Residenza Cecchi! ❤️

Lovely B and B in a quiet location just outside the centre. Lots of room and friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast buffet. Short bus ride from the centre (or a 30 minute walk). Nice to get away from the crowds in the evening and very nice restaurants on the doorstep.

We are so happy we booked a stay with Residenza Cecchi. It's off the beaten track but well worth it to escape the crowds on the side of the river. We were able to explore the Oltrarno neighborhood which feels much more relaxed than the main tourist spots. We had no problem getting around, but expect to walk a fair bit since it's a bit further out. About 30-35 minutes walk to near the Santa Maria Novella. The B&B itself is beautiful. Quiet, well-appointed, and Lucy - the staff member who took care of the breakfast - was so warm and welcoming and friendly. What a sweet person! She made our stay that much more enjoyable! We stayed in the Blue room, and the bed was large and very comfortable, with excellent AC to help us cool off. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Breakfast was simple but perfect European fair, with Lucy helping us make cappuccinos each morning. Last but not least, there are two cats that made appearances at breakfast each morning, which as a cat lover, really put the whole experience over the top for me. I can't recommend this place enough! If you want a quiet, welcoming, warm stay in Florence far from the chaos of the crowds.

Absolutely lovely B&B in a quiet neighbourhood, easily walkable along Arno to city core. Breakfast has many options for all dietary needs. Decor of historic building is pretty and tastefully done for a romantic atmosphere. Will stay here again! Also loved the garden!

Great room that was very clean and equipped with everything we needed. It was easy to check in and out and Irene was quick to respond to any communication. Breakfast was excellent as well! Located in a neighborhood with more locals and a bit of a walk to the city center (we still did it with no troubles) but close to Piazzale Michelangelo. Would recommend!

A simply wonderful stay in Florence thanks to Irene and Lucia. Probably the most comfortable bed we've had in all of Italy! Breakfast is perfect too. We had a day trip into Siena that had us leave before breakfast would be served but Luci packed us up a small take away breakfast for our trip the night before. We also enjoyed a local wine and antipasta out in the back courtyard one evening, making it feel like we were in our own back yard. 5 minutes to bus stop, 30 minute walk into town. Truly a wonderful experience!

We loved our stay. Irene and the other lady (sorry we didn’t get your name!) were both lovely and so kind. We stayed in a beautiful room and the whole stay was altogether charming. The breakfast was tasty and the room was clean. We also enjoyed the walk along the river into town. We would highly recommend this to anyone planning to visit Florence. Thank you for making our stay such an amazing experience!

In a nice clean and quiet area. Some good restaurants were 2-4 blocks away, so very walkable. On the days we had early tickets the staff packed us breakfast to go. Otherwise, yogurt, fruit, mussilii, bread with cheese and meats, hard boiled eggs, croissants and assorted pastries, juice, milk coffee!

This is slightly off the touristy line but terrific to get a more local flavor. About an easy mile walk to many tourist sights. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices although I would have lined it to start before 830. I also did not realize that there was a shared bathroom but in 5 days this was only an issue once. I really liked walking the neighborhood beyond the tourist regular locations. Thanks for a nice stay.

We had a great time, the staff was really helpful and caring! Also the breakfast was good and they had Al lot of options and a few milk options what we really did except. All in all, the staff gets 10/5 and the hotel 5/5.

Breakfast was fantastic ! Great location, not too far of a walk out of town and very close to the bus stop as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the place was very cute and clean. They had an app/website that was VERY helpful.

We loved the easy, independent check in process, which was fully explained by email. Location was also good for us as we don't like crowds and this is 20-30 mins walk from the main Florence attractions but very calm and quiet. There's plenty of excellent restaurants nearby, which the hosts give full details of. It's also a 3 minute walk from the T23 bus stop, which goes around the main town sites and the Firenze train station. Do watch out that your credit card actually registers on entry to the bus. A paper ticket is probably a safer option. The bedroom was spacious and had a comfortable bed, with large wardrobe and useful tea/ coffee making equipment. One downside was that our bathroom (Red room) was across a public hallway so privacy was a slight issue Breakfast was well presented with a decent choice and Gluten intolerance well catered for. Staff were friendly with a good level of English. Air conditioning was available in the room and very effective when used. . The bed linen was very clean and good quality. Although the area is quiet, the building is quite old and little sounds travelled easily. We would definitely come back again if we could have an ensuite bathroom.

Breakfast is a traditional Italian Breakfast, fresh fruit, juices, cappuccino, some hard boiled eggs. If you are not able to make breakfast, you can tell them and they will pack you a "to go" breakfast, which is great, as most adventures start before 8:30am. It is not as close as we needed it to be to the train station, our meet up locations for adventures.
