Checked in remotely--a bit stretchy since the general area didn't have good signal and took a lot of time to load picture etc for registration. Very quiet area in meadowy setting set deep in the valley. Room very clean and set up. Two suggestions. 1) Add more blankets to each bed--a bit uncomfortable using everything in the room and 2) the drapes are a bit thin to insure modesty. There's a nice restaurant next door, but no breakfast hours--be prepared. We'll strongly consider returning if we're out that way again.

Room was awsome- super hip and comfy nice tub so we could take a soak - water was hot if you wanted which i like! Yeah! ONLY DOWNSIDE WAS NO TV !? WHY? Thats Okay, i guess, if your adventuring, but we live local and wanted some down time and tv should be an choice for guest.. Check in was unclear for me being new to the whole online everything kind of service-although super easy to contact them, leave message, and received call back immediately (!) clarifying what we needed to know and where we could find check info and door info already sent to us.. You must do a self check in ( first time ever for me but was realky easy once i knew how) through phone. parking was okay fior big trucks..

This hotel is a fun place to stay. The room was decorated nicely and was as pictured. The entire property was fun to walk around (goats, chickens, ostrich, cats) and there is a restaurant which was closed while we were there but looked nice. They provided ear plugs which I though was a thoughtful touch but we didn't need them since we couldn't hear the street noise. My daughter liked it so much she wants an apartment like it when she grows up. I would stay here again. We felt away from the busy Port Angeles but close enough to go there for meals.

We were so blessed to stay here! The location is gorgeous and there is nothing around except for the rooms (there are 6 total, plus a guest house) and a cafe, which wasn't open during our stay but it was the middle of winter, so we were prepared for it. We rented out the two suites, and both were awesome! The heaters worked great, the rooms were very clean, and the kitchenettes were exactly what we needed for some basic groceries. One bed was a little lumpy and sagged in the middle, but the other 3 (again, 2 suites) were comfortable and we slept well. There's a big field by the property, so I imagine during the summer or fall it would be a nice place for kids to play. There is no tv (which we appreciated, but there is wifi. It's clear that the owners take pride in their place, and we would definitely stay here again! Note: there is no person on-site to deal with, but they were very responsive to texts. They also offer housekeeping upon request, so we always had what we needed. Finally, the location is right near the edge of Olympic National Park, so it's very convenient to travel into the Lake Crescent or Elwha Valley areas, and it saves about 20 minutes on a drive to Rialto Beach or beyond compared to staying in Port Angeles proper. BUT, the city is only 20 minutes away so it's not hard to find "civilization" if needs must. Overall, definitely a great place and we recommend it!

the cutest little inn very closely located to olympic national park! emerald inn is nestled in between very beautiful mountains with a conveniently located restaurant (with amazing shakes) right outside your door! staff was quick to respond to any needs we had and it was very quiet which was a bonus. if you stay here, you'll have to check out the cute farm animals too :) highly recommend & will definitely be staying here again when I come back!

Nice, quiet, cozy place with only 6-7 units. Didn’t count them. We just needed a place to sleep while hanging out at Lake Crescent and hiking in Mt Olympia National Park. It was clean and comfortable and dinner at Granny’s next door was better than expected. I’d stay there again. Check in was online and check out was just turn out the lights and close the door when leaving. Simple!

We got the double bed room. It was very small. When first arriving I was a little taken back but after we settled in it was delightful. There wasn’t any air conditioning but sleeping with the window open brought in wonderful cool fresh air. They had everything you would need. It was just a small room. Granny’s cafe is on the property but only open from thurs -sun. 11-7. The hamburgers were big and delicious. Not many options in the park for dinner. I would recommend this simple hotel if you don’t need fancy.

Lovely stay in a charming little off highway hotel. Granny’s next door for food. We had 2 queen beds, a kitchen, sitting area & bathroom…all renovated with lovely touches! Would absolutely recommend!

I am so sad. I’ve stayed here before during warmer weather. This time around was not a good experience the heater in our room had two panels but only one panel worked. We had to sleep with our jackets and gloves on. The bathroom was also not the cleanest. The room also smelled damp. I really hope they invest a little to repair the small things that make the biggest difference.

I was in the area handling some pretty heavy family stuff and so Emerald Valley Inn offered me a very private, peaceful place to relax and have some down time in the evenings for my self. The owners put a lot of thought into the amenities, they thought of every little detail. Super clean and super comfortable, beautiful surroundings.

We had a lovely stay and the remote checkin/ checkout was awesome. The rooms were clean and comfortable, very cozy feeling. Would recommend that they add some curtains that provide actual privacy though. The ones they have do little to block light and are quite see-through. Would feel a bit voyeuristic during the busy season when the inn was more congested.

It was nice. The bathtub wouldn’t drain, so when you showered the bathtub filled up pretty fast. They don't sweep under the rugs or the bed. They were kind of rude about us checking out. We woke up late and they were rude about it.

This was a great spot. Granny’s restaurant and ice cream shop was delicious! The suite was great and the beds were comfortable and everything we needed was there. The only negatives about the suite we were in was the kitchen sink had minimal water pressure, so we used the bathroom for everything which isn’t ideal and a large fridge would have been more convenient. Other than that, it was a fabulous stay.

Charming old-school inn ideally located close to Olympic. Loved the natural setting, goats, emus, and location. Didn't love the lack of attention to detail - we asked for our room to be touched up (towels/beds made) and arrived to find that only towels had been changed. Also, we were there on a particularly hot spell, and the lack of A/C made for a stifling night. Although the room had a fan, it wasn't enough. The other issue was inconsistent shower temperature - we'd be showering with hot water and suddenly it would briefly turn ice-cold. Happened both nights at different times, so I don't know the cause. Keep in mind that you're paying for location and cuteness, but don't expect much more.

Check-in was easy, beds were comfortable, the room was quite cold (we had to keep heater running all night), and walls were thin (but fortunately neighboring guests were quiet). Overall, it was a good value, and we'll consider staying here again.

We got the double bed room. It was very small. When first arriving I was a little taken back but after we settled in it was delightful. There wasn’t any air conditioning but sleeping with the window open brought in wonderful cool fresh air. They had everything you would need. It was just a small room. Granny’s cafe is on the property but only open from thurs -sun. 11-7. The hamburgers were big and delicious. Not many options in the park for dinner. I would recommend this simple hotel if you don’t need fancy.

Lovely stay in a charming little off highway hotel. Granny’s next door for food. We had 2 queen beds, a kitchen, sitting area & bathroom…all renovated with lovely touches! Would absolutely recommend!

Easy check in process, detailed and easy to follow instructions. The room is adorable and very clean. Bed was super comfortable, and staff was awesome when we had questions. Would definitely stay here again!

Room was awsome- super hip and comfy nice tub so we could take a soak - water was hot if you wanted which i like! Yeah! ONLY DOWNSIDE WAS NO TV !? WHY? Thats Okay, i guess, if your adventuring, but we live local and wanted some down time and tv should be an choice for guest.. Check in was unclear for me being new to the whole online everything kind of service-although super easy to contact them, leave message, and received call back immediately (!) clarifying what we needed to know and where we could find check info and door info already sent to us.. You must do a self check in ( first time ever for me but was realky easy once i knew how) through phone. parking was okay fior big trucks..

Booked 1 night here and thank goodness it wasn’t more. No check in desk or even person to assist when we had an issue (this wasn’t mentioned on Hotels.com when we booked). Tiniest of rooms with not even a TV or WiFi (surely basic utilities in 2025!!!!). Disappointing and frustrating.

Nice, quiet, cozy place with only 6-7 units. Didn’t count them. We just needed a place to sleep while hanging out at Lake Crescent and hiking in Mt Olympia National Park. It was clean and comfortable and dinner at Granny’s next door was better than expected. I’d stay there again. Check in was online and check out was just turn out the lights and close the door when leaving. Simple!

The stay itself wasn't too bad. However, the service from the owners was lacking. I am from out of country and had asked prior to checking in for them to email me instead of texting as I wasn't sure I would be able to access my texts. They did not listen and sent the check-in instructions to my phone. It took me over 2 hours to be able to check in as I didn't have the instructions they text me, they weren't on site and I wasn't able to call or text them. When they finally responded, they told me they had texted me the instructions/door code and didn't seem to care. I also didn't see the heater in the room right away so emailed them to ask where to access heat. I never received a response.

It was nice. The bathtub wouldn’t drain, so when you showered the bathtub filled up pretty fast. They don't sweep under the rugs or the bed. They were kind of rude about us checking out. We woke up late and they were rude about it.

Charming old-school inn ideally located close to Olympic. Loved the natural setting, goats, emus, and location. Didn't love the lack of attention to detail - we asked for our room to be touched up (towels/beds made) and arrived to find that only towels had been changed. Also, we were there on a particularly hot spell, and the lack of A/C made for a stifling night. Although the room had a fan, it wasn't enough. The other issue was inconsistent shower temperature - we'd be showering with hot water and suddenly it would briefly turn ice-cold. Happened both nights at different times, so I don't know the cause. Keep in mind that you're paying for location and cuteness, but don't expect much more.

This is a quaint little spot perfectly located between Hurricane Ridge and Crescent Lake. The room was exactly as described in pictures and bed was very comfortable. It was a 15 min drive to Port Angeles so plenty of options for dinner if Granny’s is closed.

Loved this property. Easy check in and the rooms were quaint and comfortable. Granny’s Cafe on the property was delicious, and they were super friendly. It’s a super cute, 6-unit motel and it has been updated and kept so lovely. I cannot recommend it more. I would absolutely stay here again.

Checked in remotely--a bit stretchy since the general area didn't have good signal and took a lot of time to load picture etc for registration. Very quiet area in meadowy setting set deep in the valley. Room very clean and set up. Two suggestions. 1) Add more blankets to each bed--a bit uncomfortable using everything in the room and 2) the drapes are a bit thin to insure modesty. There's a nice restaurant next door, but no breakfast hours--be prepared. We'll strongly consider returning if we're out that way again.

This was a great spot. Granny’s restaurant and ice cream shop was delicious! The suite was great and the beds were comfortable and everything we needed was there. The only negatives about the suite we were in was the kitchen sink had minimal water pressure, so we used the bathroom for everything which isn’t ideal and a large fridge would have been more convenient. Other than that, it was a fabulous stay.

This hotel is a fun place to stay. The room was decorated nicely and was as pictured. The entire property was fun to walk around (goats, chickens, ostrich, cats) and there is a restaurant which was closed while we were there but looked nice. They provided ear plugs which I though was a thoughtful touch but we didn't need them since we couldn't hear the street noise. My daughter liked it so much she wants an apartment like it when she grows up. I would stay here again. We felt away from the busy Port Angeles but close enough to go there for meals.

We were so blessed to stay here! The location is gorgeous and there is nothing around except for the rooms (there are 6 total, plus a guest house) and a cafe, which wasn't open during our stay but it was the middle of winter, so we were prepared for it. We rented out the two suites, and both were awesome! The heaters worked great, the rooms were very clean, and the kitchenettes were exactly what we needed for some basic groceries. One bed was a little lumpy and sagged in the middle, but the other 3 (again, 2 suites) were comfortable and we slept well. There's a big field by the property, so I imagine during the summer or fall it would be a nice place for kids to play. There is no tv (which we appreciated, but there is wifi. It's clear that the owners take pride in their place, and we would definitely stay here again! Note: there is no person on-site to deal with, but they were very responsive to texts. They also offer housekeeping upon request, so we always had what we needed. Finally, the location is right near the edge of Olympic National Park, so it's very convenient to travel into the Lake Crescent or Elwha Valley areas, and it saves about 20 minutes on a drive to Rialto Beach or beyond compared to staying in Port Angeles proper. BUT, the city is only 20 minutes away so it's not hard to find "civilization" if needs must. Overall, definitely a great place and we recommend it!

In general, we enjoyed the room and grounds. It was clean and the bed was comfortable but it was a little stingy on the toiletries. If you are sensitive to noise, be aware that the walls are quite thin. We had a room that connected to another one with a door that although closed, we could hear conversations and some type of media player until after 10:30 p.m. although there is no WiFi available. It is also closer to the main highway than expected.

The check in was less than desirable. Hotels.com did not give the hotel my phone number. The way check in is, the hotel said they send a text message for check in, but they were never given mine. After walking around the property, i found the phone number to call. Once i did, the lady was able to send me a text message. I was able to get in. Hotels.com needs to do a better job at communicating this. The room was clean, bed was very comfortable, but do not expect to watch TV before bed. there were none.

The room is horrible. An order that permeates your luggage, hair, and clothing. No privacy. The walls are very thin. Easy access to homeless hitch hikers. In the middle of the night someone knocked on the door which is easily accessible. The place has chickens that roam and poo in front of room doors. The collage is overgrown. Dont stay here. Plan your trip to travel through the Clallam county area and stay in Seabrook or if coming from the other way go through Seabrook and stay in Sequim.

Plan your trip to travel through the Clallam county area and stay in Seabrook or if coming from the other way go through Seabrook and stay in Sequim.
