It's my go to when I have appointments at the Mayo Clinic. Convenient, great price, and there's a workout room, pool, and complimentary breakfast. Parking in their garage can be limited and really tight spots for any vehicle over midsized, but there IS a parking garage across the street. There's a coffee shop in the lobby, sandwich shop just off of the lobby and a full service restaurant and bar on site as well.

The location is really nice for Mayo visits and the price is nice. It’s very convenient and really why we stay there regularly. However, the property is run down. It could be cleaned better and spruced up a bit. The pool was so disgusting we decided not to swim, which is really disappointing considering it would have been a great stress relief after numerous medical appointments. We even checked back the next day and it still looked nasty. Very disappointing.

Property is in the perfect location to the Mayo Clinic. It definitely needs updating. The toilet seat was peeling and rust stains in the bathroom. It’s smells old and moldy. The windows don’t open. The carpets need to be removed. Bedding was not very comfortable. Breakfast is a great addition but definitely needs better coffee.

Bathroom was original to the age of building, black mold in tub, towels were see through, A/C was incredibly loud, fan in bathroom was startling loud, on fourth floor and all sound from street came in, loudest hotel I’ve ever been at. When I complained about the mold I was met with the response “what would you like me to do”. I had to ask more than once for housekeeping to clean my room. All tables and counters covered in thick dust and the carpet was sticky. Breakfast was very basic, nothing like advertised. It was across the street from the clinic we were there for, but I would never stay there again.

Really needs to be updated. Sad looking decor. Mattress were terrible! Nice to have Caribou Coffee, CB3-excellent breakfast, Yum Hawaiian Bowl- delicious attached to hotel. Only kitty corner from Gonda building.

The rooms are extremely outdated. It was hard to find outlets to use, the furniture was well loved, the beds were very firm and uncomfortable, the bathroom had been patched numerous times, and the window unit AC only half-worked. If this had been a longer trip I would’ve found a different hotel.

Older hotel and looks it - rather shabby room. Could use USB outlets and easily accessed outlets in general. However if you're just there to visit Mayo across the street, the location can't be beat - you can go to the "subway" level and walk over without even going outside - very convenient during a Minnesota winter. All in all, it's fine - just make sure to bring your own usb power adapter.

Cons: Hotel is old and run down. Toilet didn't flush in my room, no outlets near bed to charge phone. Looked behind nightstand for an outlet and found 10 years worth of dust. Mattress was thin and hard. Parking garage is tight even for compact car. Pros: is literally right across street from Mayo Clinic Charlton building with subway access that is super convenient especially in winter.

The front desk staff was so friendly and accommodating. We had to arrive early in the day for appointments and they allowed us to park in the garage. When getting the parking pass they had a room available and they offered to let us check in at 7:45 a.m. The only thing that I was not happy with is the breakfast. They ran out of a few items very early. I let the one person working know about it after10 minutes of him checking it for refills and he did not remove the empty container or let us know they were out. When asked again when I saw him in the hall "he stated the were short on supplies."

I had messaged property, called property and asked upon check-in for a quiet room. I got a room across the street from an active construction site with an AC unit that growled periodically through out the night. I reported this to the manager after I checked out. He seemed only mildly interested.

Everything was good. But the hotel charged me 120 dollar extra. When i arrived they made a deposit for the room, 174 dollar. But the morning i checked out the frontdesk charged my card for 120 dollar. I returned and asked the frontdesk why. I could show that my card was charged a third time. The desk promised to solve the problem but I havn't got my money back 1 week later.

Everything was good. But the hotel charged me 120 dollar extra. When i arrived they made a deposit for the room, 174 dollar. Terrible service, we arrived to check in and they told us that the room was not ready, that they were cleaning it, they left us waiting for more than 45 minutes in the cold. These types of hotels should not be advertised on Hotels.com, they do not meet the minimum requirements for a minimally decent stay. I do not recommend it, better to look for another option.

This property overcharged me twice over the initial property payment for rooms. They told me it would all be refunded and I am still waiting. Our room was not cleaned once in our two week stay. We had to take out the trash and ask for more bags. We reported a plumbing problem that existed before we got into our room. Was told we had to go buy a plunger because maintenance goes home at 9pm. Then we found out it was a person not doing her job and taking the way out. She moved us rooms later in the night. It was after 10pm then. No one could tell me why we were overcharged. No one could tell me why a cleaning wasn’t done. The only thing this hotel has for it is the location. Even the staff inside the restaurant were rude. Good was good. Service was horrible. Parking is pretty narrow and hard to come by even though you pay for it. We’d consider staying for the location but the hotel Itself was not ideal and would stay anywhere else and there are other options.

Great hotel for our trip to mayo clinic. Very clean and comfortable. If the weather is bad you can get to the clinic without stepping foot outside. Staff is very friendly and helpful

There was not one staff person that we encountered or talked to that was not either in a bad mood or just not nice. I believe I encountered three different people. Also, the towels were more like sandpaper. It was literally like exfoliating when you were drying your skin. Parking ramp had a lot to be desired. The room itself, though was just fine!

The hvac was so loud I had to take the cover off to quiet it down. The shower was really weak and the diverter didn’t work. The bathroom door wouldn’t latch unless you slammed it. It had a good breakfast though. The demolition of a parking ramp across the steer on one side and construction across the street on another side was not their fault but extremely noisy all day long. The best thing is it is connected to Mayo Clinic by tunnels. The last three times we stayed there were great.

The hvac was so loud I had to take the cover off to quiet it down. The shower was really weak and the diverter didn’t work. The bathroom door wouldn’t latch unless you slammed it. It had a good breakfast though. The demolition of a parking ramp across the steer on one side and construction across the street on another side was not their fault but extremely noisy all day long. The best thing is it is connected to Mayo Clinic by tunnels. The last three times we stayed there were great.

Close to Mayo Clinic and connected via Subway (underground walkway). Mayo is a confusing mess to navigate. I asked the front desk person if I would be better off walking down the street or using the subway to my clinic appointment. She suggested the subway. Mayo Clinic not so clear in maps and signage I walked 5 blocks inside and outside then learned my appointment desk was nearly directly across the street. Close to parking garages and some good restaurants and bar near hotel. I was mostly pleased with my stay there.

I loved that we were right across from Mayo Clinic. We used the underground subway system to get to the clinic, so we avoided the humid weather. The rooms were clean and the price was very reasonable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was construction across the street, but since were at the clinic all day it didn’t disturb us. Parking garage is a little squirrely, you have both incoming and outgoing cars on the same one car route.

We have stayex there many times the wife has a doctor st mayo. Its close to the clinic. Its anice hotel nothing fancy but very friendly and comfortable. We will stay there next time up.

The staff was very helpful but disappointed in quality of breakfast. A beautiful room, but eggs and bacon were cold. Other options were available, just felt this should be at least warm if served as an option.

Check in and check out was very easy, staff very helpful with questions about how to get places. Our room was very dated and the carpet was warn and dirty. I was disappointed that we had to pay an additional $15 to use the actual hotel parking ramp. The breakfast was plentiful and kept fresh.

The best thing about this hotel is its location next to Mayo Clinic. Super easy underground access for a reasonable price. The place has been undergoing long-term renovations and I always seem to get the floors and rooms that haven’t been upgraded (been going there 5 years now). These non-upgraded rooms are severely dated with bad noisy AC/Heat units and annoyingly loud bathroom fans you can’t control independently from the light. And they have minimal places to plug in phone/laptop chargers. I think I maybe get the old rooms since book thru Hotels.com. They now have a free breakfast and the restaurant that is in the same building is now open again (mostly burgers and sandwiches). Access to both is good if you use a wheelchair. There is Caribou coffee on the premises so you don’t have to rely on the horrible coffee in the room. Overall- easy access to Mayo Clinic is the prime feature. Definitely try to get a remodeled room.

Overall we had a great stay. The staff were excellent, friendly and accommodating. The CB3 restaurant there was also very good. Great food and friendly, efficient staff as well.

Room was not clean, very outdated, carpet and furniture needs to be replaced, breakfast area not well stocked, juice machine out of order, no waffle mix and others said they were having troubles with waffle iron. Parking is over priced. Parking is cheaper at ramp across the street. Only positive was being across the street from the Mayo Clinic. Don’t recommend staying here.

The hotel was nice and clean, staff were very pleasant, breakfast was a big tasty buffet. The only complaint was the parking garage was very little and barely fit my mid size SUV because of how low the ceiling was, but there is another garage next to the hotel that was actually cheaper. Also, being on the side where all the construction was going on, but I get it they had to start super early because of the heat. Most importantly though it was with walking distance from all of my Mayo appts and several restaurants.

Front desk staff were not very friendly. Rooms were adequate, tub was slow to drain, shower head came to my chest, and I am not that tall. Hallways were not very clean. The only redeeming thing is the location to the Mayo Clinic buildings and the walkability to downtown.
