Generally service was very good except the main staff were awful very slow and poorly poured drinks. Gym was awful, old and broken. Adult pool was closed and being filled two days, adult pool bar was always closed

Very nice hotel, super friendly and helpful staff and great to be there whilst Morocco was beating Spain! Some things could do with a refresh and a little tlc (especially the small and under equipped gym) but overall it was lovely and an oasis of calm away from the madness of Marrakesh!

Beautiful and well maintained grounds. Some noise due to construction. Room service with Rachid is excellent. Adult pool is great. Signage indicates no smoking allowed but staff unfortunately does not enforce this which is a problem! Pricey but a positive experience!

Barcelo Palmeraie looks to be a Hotel which is going through a Transition. When we where there, they were finishing the whole new entrance, which looks amazing. Also the rooms looked to have gotten a recent update. For the Hotel i really hope that they will plan a renovation for the meals… For us it was very much the same everyday with not so much to choose from and often food being finished way before the closing time of the specific time of the day. Also the costumer friendliness in the restaurants werent always that good. It looks to be that there is a younger guard which is very kind, polite and helpfull and an older guard which just stands around the whole time and every bit of work they have to do seems to be too much for them… The All-inclusive system also raised some eyebrows, if you book through, in this case, expedia. You can choose between halfpension or All-Inklusive. The moment we arrived we found out that on the spot you have something called “All-Inklusive ” for this service you pay an additional 30euro’s per person per night. Which basically is the official “all-inklusive” package. Because the “normal” all-inklusive just gives you the meals and half of the drinks at the bar and the swimming pool for free…. For the other half of the menu you have to pay, or have All-Inklusive … To us this is just super weird.. Note; fix your own airport transfer; 30 euro’s is way over priced. We paid 20 which is already a high amount… can’t believe they ask such prices…

Pas digne d’un BARCELO. Le complexe est gigantesque et pourtant la piscine est carré et petite on dirait les piscine municipale. Le sol de la piscine est extrêmement glissant il faut se tenir au barrière sinon on glisse. J’ai pris une chambre « premium » pour deux adultes et deux enfants et la chambre était toute petite ! C’était étouffant de rester à l’intérieur avec les enfants et on avais même pas la place pour poser nos valise il fallait toujours qu’elle soit fermé.

We had a great stay at the Barcelo. We travelled with our one year old child and parents. The staff were amazing, very helpful and always attentive. The food was good. They had a range of activities including tennis, mini golf, volley ball and kids club. The swimming pools were clean and lovely. The grounds were beautiful and the rooms were nice. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back or visit their sister hotels across the globe.

We recently stayed at this resort, and overall, it was a mixed experience. The food was relatively good and varied, but the restaurant schedule wasn’t ideal for those going on excursions—breakfast only starts at 7:30 AM, which is inconvenient when you need to leave by 8 AM, and dinner at 7:30 PM felt a bit late for those wanting to eat earlier. The resort itself was beautiful, and the Hammam experience was definitely a highlight. The reception staff was kind and welcoming. However, the biggest downside was the poor sound insulation in the rooms. We could clearly hear conversations and noise from the rooms above, which made it difficult to sleep. Even after changing rooms, the issue remained the same. If you're planning to wake up early for activities, this could be a major problem. But if your goal is to relax by the pool all day and sleep in, it might not bother you as much. Unfortunately, for a resort that claims to be five-star luxury, the lack of proper soundproofing was disappointing and significantly impacted our stay.

Great hotel, well maintained beautiful grounds. Nice choice of pools. Various activities for all ages, kids club was decent too. A little out the way from the city centre but free hotel shuttle bus runs regularly. Would definitely recommend.

bel hôtel , personnel très sympathique , restauration correcte mais peu variée , un coup de neuf est mérité dans les chambres . La piscine zen est superbe mais il manque des parasols et des transats , et il faudrait renouveler les parasols qui sont pour la plupart cassé , il en manque aussi , par cette chaleur impossible de rester à la piscine sans parasol .

Amabilité du personnel. Installation: piscines, jardins. A ameliorer: salle de sport (materiel pas toujours fonctionnel)

We liked the garden and the surroundings. But our room was not clean, and had little cockroaches and ants walking around. We paid around 5oo British pounds for two nights, insulation was poor and very noisy. There was a horrible smell of sewers in entrance to our room and inside room.

Our room/bathroom was not clean. Dusty and lots of bugs flying around.

The housekeeping service was consistently late, and there were several issues with the room. Items were either broken or missing; for example, there was no hairdryer available, and the iron was not functioning. I had to contact housekeeping multiple times to address these problems. Additionally, the bathroom cleaning was not done at all, and no toiletries were replaced. The buffet remained the same every day, and there wasn't much for the children to do. The wellness centre could be more relaxing if they offered refreshments after the one-hour treatment. However, the staff was friendly and helpful.

Service excellent de la part de tous les employés. Buffet très bon pour un all inclusive et assez varié. 2 piscines selon si on veut du calme ou une après midi avec un peu plus de musique etc… Beaucoup d’activités pour tout le monde dans l’hôtel. Petit bémol pour la chambre classique, aucun espace rangement à part pour les vestes, salle de bain pas pratique du tout, gare aux inondations à chaque douche. Ménage pas fait entièrement dans les chambres (sol jamais nettoyé en 1 semaine) Je recommande cet hôtel

The rooms were very pleasant, it was cozy and clean. Breakfast and dinner was excellent. The hotel team has always been friendly.

Tout était parfait à part le bruit occasionné par les femmes de chambre à partir de 08H-08H30 qui étaient entrain de faire la chambre mitoyenne à la mienne (244)…parlaient très fort, claquaient la porte qui grisaillait…bref trop de bruit du bon matin. J’avais besoin de me reposer…après une longue journée de travail et un dîner d’affaire…

Hotel was nice, beautiful surroundings and ambience. Unfortunately, we were terribly sick a few days before we left and we couldn't get immediate medical assistance from the on-site medical team as there was a holiday so we had to rush to the emergency hospital which was very scary and intense. The hospital medical staff were amazing and we are thankful for their service however the hotel should put some extra support in place incase thisbhappens again especially as it involved children. Otherwise it was a nice stay.

We stayed 5 nights and it was excellent. Very friendly staffs though they speak little English. Clean and beautiful surroundings. Good choice of food apart from BBQ where mostly beef is served, no other options. Reception desk is too small and limited so at busy times expect long wait for check in/out. Overall very satisfying holiday, will be back.

Service was very poor at Bar and restaurant area, staff don’t respond to any requests, most of the cocktails are not included in All inclusive. Restaurant staff don’t bother asking anyone for any drinks etc, even when you request for some cutlery etc they don’t come back. Serious management issues that can be easily resolved by staff training of how to take care of guests, cleaning on cubicle beds area around pool was poor, best point of hotel was excellent Landscaping all around the hotel .

Molto bello il giardino di palme, le piscine ..una assolutamente vietata ai minori di 16 anni. Purtroppo pessima l'assistenza clienti perché ho chiamato tutto il giorno per riuscire avere una navetta e non mi hanno mai risposto né via mail né al telefono, se non il giorno successivo. Poco chiari anche i receptionisti che dopo aver chiesto diverse volte alcune tariffe mi avevano indicato l'assoluto gratuito, al momento del check out ci hanno chiesto di pagare.

Für den Preis, was man zahlt erwarte ich ein besseren Service vorallem beim Frühstück, Personal schien unorganisiert. Man kann die Temperatur nicht einstellen an der Dusche, obwohl irgendjemand kam und diese verbesserte am nächsten Tag war das Problem wieder da. Die preise Vorort falls man was essen möchte sind zu übertrieben, für ein harira habe ich am Abend 70 dh bezahlt... Insgesamt sollte man an dem Service arbeiten und die preise Vorort sollten runter, wenn das passiert, wäre dann diese Einrichtung hervorragend

L’hôtel est magnifique & le personnel au petit soin. Un grand merci à Jaouad & Yassine de la réception qui ont été très professionnel, j’ai eu quelques soucis au niveau de la chambre, le mini bar était chaud ce qui est problématique quand il fait 37 degrés et que l’on doit garder des médicaments à une certaine température, le personnel a fini par me trouver une solution mais il a fallu de la patience, disons que c’est le gros bémol de cet hôtel, que ça soit à la réception, au restaurant ou au bar ils vont toujours vous dire tout de suite mais parfois c’est 20-30 minutes d’attente minimum, c’est dommage il devrai vraiment faire un effort à ce niveau là ou simplement par dire tout de suite ! De plus faites attention si vous arrivez tôt ou partez tard il ne sont pas du tout conciliant, faut payer 30 euro supplémentaires, il devrai l’annoncer à l’avance c’est un peu limite pour un hôtel dans codes prix quand même assez élevé pour Marrakech… Pour finir, merci beaucoup à l’équipe Guest Experience pour l’attention à l’occasion de mon anniversaire, j’ai vraiment appréciée.

This property is a good option to stay in if you do not mind staying around 20 mins away from Marrakesh. They do run daily shuttles but the last one is at 8 pm so you have to plan your day accordingly. The taxi fares are otherwise quite expensive which we ended up paying. Otherwise, there is quite a lot to do within the property itself, breakfast was good, a few restaurants of good quality in the property to dine in and activities for the kids.

Nice, clean and beautiful with lots choices on dining. Only drawback is transportation, you either book a taxi go anywhere which is expensive or wait for hotel's shuttle which is limited and full at busy times.

The hotel itself is listed as all inclusive but they offer only one buffet option, food was not good, many days barely edible. Therefore you end up spending money on outside food. As far as the drinks you are limited to what your all inclusive included- very misleading. It also ends early. You can not find anything after 10 pm on the property to eat. Only one a la carte restaurant on the property and you have to pay for it, construction was being done so morning were loud.

This resort hotel has beautiful gardens, trees and landscape. It's serene and relaxing. Staffs are helpful and friendly. Breakfast buffet includes plenty of offerings and selections. I stayed with my wife for four nights and we extremely enjoyed it. Will go back.

Suitable for busniess and pleasure. Nice selection of breakfast dishes. But the worst cup of coffee I had for a while :-/

Beautiful Hotel or I must say it is a resort. The place, staff, and amenities, It is very difficult to express my honest feelings about this resort. The staff is so polite and very helpful. 3 restaurants with different cuisines. Amazing breakfast with lots of choices. Whether you are going with or without family, I strongly recommend this place to everyone. Definitely going to visit again.

Deuxième séjour en famille en 2 ans. L'hôtel est bien mieux que l'année précédente mais niveau propreté des chambres c'est moyen. Nourriture sans trop de saveur et assez répétitive. Bon petit déjeuner.
