Very clean place. We had bad experience with their elevators. 2 out of 3 elevators is not working for the whole 4 days we stayed :( Breakfast is good but need a better breakfast sandwich.

I also liked that it offered a laundry room. I was disappointed that there were only 3 washers and one was broken. There were 6 dryers and one was broken. We had to wait in a line to get our things washed and dried while others waited behind us. The room is plenty big for more washers and maintenance should be done regularly

This a beautiful property and clean. They boast that it is close to the airport and that there is shuttle service, but it doesn’t start until 5:00 am so if you have a flight before that time you are going to have to find yourself another way to the airport. It is also a pet friendly hotel but the fees are very expensive!! Will not stay there again!

Clean, quiet, plush rooms, wonderful desk staff! The only sour note was that two of the three (coin-op; in 2025?) machines in the guest laundry were out of order (Especially irritating, since it was a holiday weekend).

Good property, nice staff. However, it took four requests and two hours to get a pack and play for my toddler son in the evening. The conditioner in our tub was empty (Wasn’t refilled). Having only one operational elevator for a five floor property was also an inconvenience. That said, the breakfast was excellent, and the properly met our needs. Really liked the smell of the lobby.

Great place for families. Couple of things to improve are that one of the main elevators was out of service and 2 out of 3 washers were out of service for our entire stay if 1 week. Room service could have included vacuuming floors. Great location and really good breakfast and front desk was very courteous and friendly.

Apparently the shuttle service ends at 10:30. Every other hotel I have ever stayed at if it past the time you call and they have shuttle sent to pick you up. Not here, had to pay for shuttle service, a ridiculous amount I might add, the woman that checked us in was very cold and rude. Never will stay here again

Would have given a higher rating but was charged a daily fee for parking. On the bill it said “garage parking” but in reality it was a parking lot.

Room was clean and spacious. Loved the kitchenette, refrigerator was ice cold, and everything we needed to make dinner was available; pots, pans utensils, even dish soap was provided for clean up. There is an on-site laundry that we didn’t need but looked very clean. The gym was well equipped. The pool was nice as well. The breakfast was great! Nothing fancy but it was good enough to have every morning. The menu consisted of scrambled eggs, turkey sausage patties, ham, seasoned potatoes, egg rounds to build your own “sausage egg McMuffins”, oatmeal with various toppings like granola, craisens, Greek yogurt, boiled eggs, salad, bread & bagel station for toasting and another station to make your own waffles. Overall our stay was very good. We will definitely stay here again.

Poor cleanliness. I reserved a 2-bedroom suite and upon entering the room I noticed a strong urine smell. The sofa bed had brown stains. I immediately requested a different room. The second room had an even stronger urine smell. I left the hotel and had to look for another place to stay.

Pros - the hotel property was well maintained, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The bedrooms in the 2 bedroom suite were fairly large and each had a closet with shelving and laundry baskets, the kitchen was large. Hotel was very quiet. Cons - The vanity in the bathroom was the smallest I’ve ever seen in a hotel (only one person could use at a time), the bathroom smelled like urine and there was no fan for ventilation, the hotel was very muggy and stuffy, bed was uncomfortable, drawers in the second bedroom were broken and unusable, only a small vanity mirror and one full length mirror (2 bedroom suite needs more mirrors to accommodate larger parties), breakfast was awful. The hotel overall was just ok. I would only stay there again if there was no other hotel with 2 bedroom suites.

Last year I stayed here and it was great. Housekeeping was there when I requested, room was spacious, bathroom was clean and well stocked, and breakfast was provided and actually really good. This year was not so great. There was a huge crack in the wall where the shower was, a bottle of body wash fell off after it was attached to the wall (looked like command strips held it up), the toilet seat was broken, housekeeping never showed up in my 4 night stay even when I requested at check in that I wanted it, there were crayon marks on the wall in one of my rooms, my refrigerator looked like it hadn’t been clean for a while, and to top it all off most of the kitchen equipment was clearly dirty and coffee supplies with other kitchen supplies were clearly old and not replaced in some time. I liked this hotel due to its location and the experience I had prior. I won’t be coming back any time soon. I plan on coming out to San Diego next year already but don’t see myself staying here again.

There was an odd smell walking into the property from outside. I dont know what it was from, possibly from the fact that there are kitchens in the rooms and people can cook inside. My room specifically had an even different smell inside. Again, probably from previous people who cooked in the room. The cable box on the television was hanging, not secured to the wall or television. The remote control for the television had some sort of substance on it. There was a random hair on the wall in the shower. There was a dark spot within the caulking of the shower, probably mold underneath the top layer. The shower head and shower pressure were well under par. Lastly, the coffee machine wasn’t properly cleaned from previous people in the room. How do I know that? Well, there was a coffee pod packet still in it when I went to make my own coffee. From my understanding that would be an automatic fail if the room was inspected after being clean. Definitely some areas that need to be addressed. Thankfully we spent most of our time outside the room than in it.

Also the hallway carpets were so stained and filthy that it was appalling. A pile of dirty sheets were outside one room for almost 2 days. We check in around 230pm. The room was not ready. They said they will call . 630pm came around ans still no call. The room was ok but the dishes where not wash. The soap dispenser in the shower fell off when we were pumping it to dispense. It was just being held up by tape. Otherwise, things were ok.

It took 7 days to get clean sheets. We were told every 4 days. They day the housekeeping came, we told them 10 minutes (we were just packing up for the day) they never came back. Three days later they were changed, a total of 7 days. It was another 5 days, no clean sheets again. We finally checked out to another hotel.

Checked in Tuesday and was told cleaning would be every other day. Room was not cleaned Thursday. Thursday evening, I called to have the room cleaned and towels changed on Friday morning. Housekeeping failed to clean the room Friday after the front desk told me I would have my room cleaned. I went down to the front desk Friday evening and was told that I would have the room cleaned on Saturday. The trash was taken out on Saturday but they did not change my towels. I then had to call to have someone bring fresh towels. The housekeeping process was not ideal at all.
Checked in Tuesday and was told cleaning would be every other day. Room was not cleaned Thursday. Thursday evening, I called to have the room cleaned and towels changed on Friday morning. Housekeeping failed to clean the room Friday after the front desk told me I would have my room cleaned. I went down to the front desk Friday evening and was told that I would have the room cleaned on Saturday. The trash was taken out on Saturday but they did not change my towels. 1) Online check in app should be improved. The in person manual check was very smooth. However, when we tried the online check in on Oct 30 (24 hrs before date) in the morning of Oct 31 an auto error message kept on appearing saying that we were not allowed check in before 48 hours. The counter staff explained that if we do not have an account with Mariott, that check in app won’t work. In the app, there was no such condition listed. 2) Cleanliness: A) Surprised to find a coffee mug that was “caked” with dry coffee residue. B) The tissue inside the tissue box was damp. 3) Washroom door The swing out w/r door not only takes up 1/3 of the bed get-off space area. If someone tries to get off from bed & another person swings out the w/r door simultaneously, they will collide.

The only solution to them was to cover them up with clothing. The microwave by itself was issuing almost 200 lumens. In addition to that, where the tv was placed in the room was inconvenient as if you exit the bathroom through the proper method, you will INVARIABLY smack your shoulder on it ... I did this 19 times during the stay (I know it was 19 because we laughed and kept track). The only other complaint was our door to the room, it would NOT shut and lock without significant force. So you could close it and think you were ok and then someone could easily push it open (which happened four times during the stay). The staff was truly a highlight and all the front desk staff truly deserve a raise because they were handling a ton of seriously grumpy and resistant people.

Very nice hotel. Great variety for breakfast. The only issue was the bathroom smelled a bit like pee when we arrived. Also, I reserved a king room but they only had 2 queens at the time of check in. The layout of the room was a little awkward. The door to the bathroom was right next to the bed and the TV was on the wall next to the bathroom door instead of being in front of the bed.

Property was clean, and very convenient to those flying in and of airport. I unfortunately was there for a military funeral, and request for quiet room wasn’t honored. I wouldn’t choose this location again due to the noise of planes taking off all day and night.

It’s a great location for airport travel. The check in staff lady was so sweet, fun and caring. The rooms and view were great. My only negative was the WiFi. I couldn’t even summon an Uber due to the poor connection and not using the WiFi - I only had one bar. We use AT&T. So maybe get a better WiFi provider as I travel lots and never have had this problem.

Room was clean and spacious. Loved the kitchenette, refrigerator was ice cold, and everything we needed to make dinner was available; pots, pans utensils, even dish soap was provided for clean up. There is an on-site laundry that we didn’t need but looked very clean. The gym was well equipped. The pool was nice as well. The breakfast was great! Nothing fancy but it was good enough to have every morning. The menu consisted of scrambled eggs, turkey sausage patties, ham, seasoned potatoes, egg rounds to build your own “sausage egg McMuffins”, oatmeal with various toppings like granola, craisens, Greek yogurt, boiled eggs, salad, bread & bagel station for toasting and another station to make your own waffles. Overall our stay was very good. We will definitely stay here again.

Marilyn was such a wonderful hostess, we had some issues with the room we arrived in and she was so patient with us, and resolved the issue quickly. I really enjoyed the location, and will definitely be going back there, when next I am in San Diego.

Good property, nice staff. However, it took four requests and two hours to get a pack and play for my toddler son in the evening. The conditioner in our tub was empty (Wasn’t refilled). Having only one operational elevator for a five floor property was also an inconvenience. That said, the breakfast was excellent, and the properly met our needs. Really liked the smell of the lobby.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They held our bags until our room was ready, which happened to be ready early. The rooms were amazing--clean, new, great channels and guest services. The pool was great and we were able to walk to a little beach and the airport shopping from the hotel. The free shuttle service was a cherry on top.

The hotel was great. Our room was cozy and nice. It is so nice to have the extended stay extras like a fridge and freezer. It’s a treat to have ice right there when we wanted it. Stefanie at the front desk made our stay even better. She answered the phone when we first called for the airport shuttle. She was very friendly and helpful. When we arrived she was waiting with a huge smile! She was so fun to chat with. She also gave us dinner suggestions and she was happy to check in with us as we passed the desk through out our whole trip. She was great to make sure we were comfortable and didn’t need anything. Now we have made a lifelong friend we feel like we need to go visit her again. Thanks Stefanie!! You are the best!!

I picked this hotel because I gad a really early flight. I was able to walk to the airport in the morning it took 10 minutes. Super convenient for flying out of the San Diego airport. Nice location close to the airport is convenient when arriving or departing on your trip. Not a lot around it in terms of dining or things to do, but it’s only a short drive to downtown or the beaches. Breakfast was good and lots of seating. Overall very clean and well kept, felt almost brand new

Staff was wonderful. Hotel was clean. Breakfast "buffet" was VERY limited (pre-packaged breakfast sandwiches), coffee was often cold. Really wish there were more restaurant options within walking distance and a store/pharmacy. If you don't have a car, you'll be paying for lots of rides.

We stayed one night due to a canceled connecting flight. The hotel was chosen in large part because it advertised an airport shuttle service, however the shuttle was unable to pick us up from the airport nor shop us off. They apparently would serve their customers better if they had a bigger van. Also, breakfast doesn’t start until 6:30 which isn’t helpful for people with early flights.
