Apartamento típico de três quartos na área histórica / verde de Umbria Orvieto

The apartment was a wonderful home away from home. A nice base for our visit to Orvieto, it was neat and well equiped. The espresso maker was appreciated each morning and the gift basket was a nice touch. The apartment is decorated with beautiful pieces from the town and history of Orvieto. Fausto was an excellent host. We ate at all of the restaurants that he recommended, and they were all delicious. The apartment is just outside the city walls. A 20 minute walk into town either via the main entrance to the city or via the escalators. We had a beautiful stay and would certainly stay again. Grazie.

We visited Orvieto in mid-November, and had the pleasure of staying at Casa Serafina. Fausto was communicative and helpful leading up to our arrival and at check-in- we were sorry that we did not speak Italian to be able to talk with him more easily. He directed us to the covered parking, which was very convenient, as we could just leave the car there rather than navigate the usual hill town streets. The apartment was wonderful- nicely decorated, clean, spacious, comfortable bed, quite usable kitchen- and convenient to the city center. Fausto left extensive information about the area and sights, as well as a nice bottle of wine. I am not sure why the questions about the vineyard come up in the VRBO review form- we did not see a vineyard. But we had a great stay. My husband commented on the excellent coffee in the apartment each day. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience Orvieto and enjoys exploration on foot. Orvieto was one of our favorite places on this trip through Umbria and Tuscany.

The apartment was very nicely appointed, Fausto was a gracious host, welcomed us, took his time showing us the amenities in the apartment and how to access the old part of the city. The gift basket was a solid score filled local artisan crafrs EVOO and a bottle of white wine. Higjtly recommend this accomodation for any traveler visiting this part.of Italy

Fausto was great & the place was really nice. It’s a hike into the village & the traffic is crazy!! I don’t think it’s the perfect location for seniors or children but a lovely stay none the less!

Excellent séjour. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Fausto dans une maison extraordinaire, très propre avec tout le nécessaire et une décoration qui ne laisse pas indifférent. Le parking privé est très appréciable, ainsi que les produits locaux offerts par les propriétaires à notre arrivée. La maison est située au pied du centre historique. Orvieto, perchée sur son rocher de tuf est une ville magnifique. Il y a beaucoup de choses à faire. Également un lac appréciable par forte chaleur à 20 mn en voiture. Une région magnifique (Perugia, Assisi, Todi...). Nous reviendrons sans hésiter à Casa Serafina et recommandons vivement cette location.
