I have a lot of mixed emotions about my stay at this hotel. For the most part, it was a very good stay! But the thing that really bothered me the most was I got locked out of my room and it took almost 45 minutes to get in because of some glitch in their system and the door mechanism. The front desk gentleman who tried to help me was more than accommodating. In fact I felt so sorry for this gentleman who ran the steps three or four times trying to get some sort of key or tool to let us in my room. Upon checkout this morning, the lady nonchalantly laughed it off and jokingly said “yeah sorry about your room!” It definitely did not sit well with me and the laugh probably did more harm than the issue of me being locked out of my room itself. The breakfast options always seemed very slim and or not well furnished and I do not believe that it had anything to do with the timeframe since on both days the time frames were different for my breakfast arrival My shower was not clean, nor was the carpet. My choice hotel typically is a Holiday Inn express therefore, I feel like my expectations are not out of line based on how often I stay at an HIE.

Great location hotel could definitely use a little bit more cleaning our blankets had holes in them. The refrigerator had used water bottles. The shower had already been used, but other than that it was a safe secure place just to refresh and revamp to get back on the road.

The room and hotel was clean and the staff was helpful. The room had a window unit which made it feel kind of old school. But it kept the room cool. The facility was right next to top golf and some other things to do with the family. I appreciated they aren’t on the new hotel scam of charging for parking. I would stay here again.

Breakfast was SoOo good especially the cheese omlets and bacon! The parking was very secure as well as great views of top golf and I fly! The distance to the St. Johns Town Center for shopping and food was extra special! Enjoyed my stay and this has officially become my choice of hotel for future visits to Jacksonville! DUUUUVALLL!!!!
