I was not able to stay because the hotel false advertised about the parking. They have public street parking, on a one-way street in Queens, that is also a residential block. After calling 4 times, someone finally answered, and when I asked where to park, the woman laughed and said "the street," that's what we mean by free parking. When i told her it was misleading, she stated, "we know, but that's our free parking." Looking for parking, on a downtown Queens' street on a Sunday night....I never found a spot!

This was probably one of the most disgusting hotel experiences I had. The ac/heater buttons were broken, my door lock was busted, the gap under the door was an inch thick so I heard everything. Elevator was broken so everyone used the stairs and slammed the door to the stairs all night right next to my room. The whole places stunk like pee and marijuana. So gross. I did not feel safe. I slept maybe 2 hours.

I had a layover for my flight. The room was nice and clean staff ok I arrived late so it wasn’t really no interaction, the air conditioning worked great. Plenty of stores in the area. The hotel was right in the neighborhood. Traveling was good because the train was right there. However, there wasn’t any hotel parking only street parking. We have another reservation for this same hotel for our returning flight.

Its in the heart of Far Rockaway, one of the most dangerous neighborhoods in NYC. There is a heavy police presence, and the subway stop is across the street. Its convenient and cheap if visiting, but its kind of a crazy neighborhood. No street parking. Guests who did not heed parking signs woke up with parking tickets.

What you would expect for 130 a night in NYC. Check in was quick, requires 10$ cash deposit that you get back at check out once you return the TV remote. The hallway does smell of cigarettes if you are sentive to smells. The deluxe room has two full size beds and a fridge. There are microwaves available in the lobby. Ice maçhine did not work. Beds are moderately soft and you get one sheet for the bed. Pillows are thin. Shower has very hot water. You get two towels and two wash clothes for the one day stay. The location of this property is not in a safe location. Many un-housed and what appear to be drunk or chemical substances abuser in the area. Not safe to walk this neighborhood. I asked about ice machine. I was told the machine was not working. All my parisables were destroyed. When I left the hotel early that morning, police cars and cruisers outside. In that aspect, I guess I was safe.

If I could give this place no stars I would!!! This place was a dump! The pics and setting are very deceiving!! The room was gross, dirty desk, old ass comforters, bathroom sink was cracked, only 2 towels, not a drop of hot water either. I had to take a freezing cold shower! No microwave in the room, they were in the lobby, along with a bug zapper! Oh and both vending machines did not work!! Alls you smelled was weed and stale cigarettes. Lock on the door was broken, lamps were old and falling apart etc... My husband got up at one point in the middle of the night and roaches were crawling all over! No parking lot so you had to park on the street!!! This place is in a very dangerous area. We walked to a corner store and felt very unsafe!! The pics of the rooms online were not what we got at all! Please do your research. $258 I paid for this room! Thank God it was only for one nigh

Pretty good overall. Almost got a 4 bc of the very clean and tidy room, plenty of towels and bath products, details simple but well-managed. It was barebones but more than adequate. Just really loud.. no soundproofing on my door.

My stay was fine. I only stayed one night so I didn't expect much. I was disappointed that there was only one hanger in the closet, no iron or ironing board, the toilet paper holder was broken but the Wi-Fi was strong. The AC was great as well as the lighting and the cable channels were decent. The main highlight is the train station across the street and the corner store adjacent to the train station.

Most likely I misread the location and got off the train at Jamaica rather than Rockaway which cost me a $75 cab ride, so that sucked. The sheets were clean but worn with holes in them. Bathroom had no toilet paper holder but instead had holes in the wall where it obviously had been previously. There were lots of little holes in the wall that were not filled. The soda machine was out of water, which means I had to go to the next corner to the deli to get water but food. There was a refrigerator, which was unusual, but no ways to make coffee or tea. The buttons on the air conditioning/heater unit were broken and I had to stick my finger in a hole in order to lower the temperature after raising it earlier in the evening. Hope that’s all I was touching All in all I would rate the property poor at best and of course the $106 price clearly reflected the lack of integrity but out on the $75 right there and thieve $50 ride to the airport. It might as well stayed much closer to the airport. Lesson learned

I love this place and the staff. If they are rude to you, they're mirroring your energy. Get over it. Literally right next door to the A train. A direct ride from the Penn station or The Port Authority. If you are afraid of culture, noise, and people who are different than you. Find another state / city / or country to visit. No breakfast or coffee offered. The room size definitely makes up for the lack of amenities in comparison to rooms size of the typical NYC hotel. The windows are large and open for natural light and air. Easy affees to the beach and all others points of NY because the A train is directly next door.

My stay was fine. I only stayed one night so I didn't expect much. I was disappointed that there was only one hanger in the closet, no iron or ironing board, the toilet paper holder was broken but the Wi-Fi was strong. The AC was great as well as the lighting and the cable channels were decent. The main highlight is the train station across the street and the corner store adjacent to the train station.

The area is not very safe and there is no on-site parking. Drove 3 square blocks and there is no available street parking. Only option is to park in paid parking garage 2 blocks away and walk back. You would not want to do that late at night with luggage.

I like the location right by the subway. I also like the Delis and a Dunkin Donuts close by. My room was clean. Had a decent sleep except for a guy yelling in the hallway at midnight. Aside from that it was comfortable and the staff was very courteous and helpful.

Overall it’s decent and it’s cheaper than most of the hotels. Although it’s far from anywhere but at least it’s in front of the subway station.

Hotel is in a very undesirable location, however the staff was very friendly and helpful. For what they had, the room was clean and tidy while the floors did seem greasy from whatever cleaner they used to clean with. AC was ice cold. Bed was comfy, and room was nice and quiet. It fullfilled our needs while waiting for a new flight after a canceled one. Way to go, staff. We almost canceled our reservation and went somewhere else when we saw the surrounding area. Glad we stayed the night.

Awakward neighborhood, no water available in the vending machine, food down the street, room had a closed in smell, interior of the building including the room could use some touch up paint though the young woman working the night shift was very friendly and helpful.

The welcome was excellent and very fast. My room was already ready upon my arrival..but the service is poor, no housekeeping to clean my room, no macrowave In the room and the corridor smelled of smoke and no breakfast either...

Cool, simple room right next to far rock away station that leads to manhattan & Brooklyn… you get what you pay for & the staff is helpful… room wasn’t anything special but was clean… if you’re looking for a room near JFK on a budget this is cool. & the delis next to it have everything… juice deli has a good chopped cheese..

I love this place and the staff. If they are rude to you, they're mirroring your energy. Get over it. Literally right next door to the A train. A direct ride from the Penn station or The Port Authority. If you are afraid of culture, noise, and people who are different than you. Find another state / city / or country to visit. No breakfast or coffee offered. The room size definitely makes up for the lack of amenities in comparison to rooms size of the typical NYC hotel. The windows are large and open for natural light and air. Easy affees to the beach and all others points of NY because the A train is directly next door.

What you would expect for 130 a night in NYC. Check in was quick, requires 10$ cash deposit that you get back at check out once you return the TV remote. The hallway does smell of cigarettes if you are sentive to smells. The deluxe room has two full size beds and a fridge. There are microwaves available in the lobby. Ice maçhine did not work. Beds are moderately soft and you get one sheet for the bed. Pillows are thin. Shower has very hot water. You get two towels and two wash clothes for the one day stay. At check out I had to wait about 15 minutes because no one was at the desk and there is no bell to ring.

Constant weed smoking by other guests. Parking was really hard. Had a hole in the wall in our room. Had to call for a light bulb for lamp by bed, the ice machine was not well maintained

While the hotel hotel and the area looked rundown, it turned out to feel really safe. People who stayed in the hotel were extremely friendly, in comparison to the check-in clerk who seemed quite inconvenienced by our presence. There is no refrigeration or coffee available, one of the best diners we’ve ever been to was a three minute walk away, corner coffee shop. And it was easy to get an Uber back to the airport.

Hotel's parking lot was not available. I can't find a parking spot for my SUV vehicle with my stuff in the back there. Hotel did not have email. I am Deaf. I had no way to contact the hotel directly except the Hotels did help me to contact the hotel through chat.

was having issues with my flight so needed a place where i can relax shower. This isn’t a fancy 5 star hotel i gave this hotel 5 stars for clean room and bathroom however there were no towels and wash clothes and that was ok because when i ask for it i received it . Staff was pleasant. I am from new york i relocated a few years ago so the location didn’t bother me. For those not from here this is a place in the hood i am not going to sugar coat it, the bodega around the corner and other stores if you chose to door dash that’s fine too because i sure did . so don’t expect it to be like your luxury casino hotel. It is a room with a bed and shower and nice size flat screen my room didn’t have any windows so if lights are out it will feel like it’s dark all day long i am not saying all the rooms are windowless but my room was on first floor and i kept light off that was alright with me and it’s clean for decent price. Last but not least marijuana is definitely being smoked in there but if u get caught im sure u will be fined but i know its being smoked because i smelled it so basically smoke at your own risk dont get caught . This was a last minute thing till my ticket got resolved but there would be no need for me to return shall they mess up my ticket again i just might return .
