Um capítulo a parte este Hotel. Que conforto e lugar encantador. Fora da cidade grande, um refugio! Os funcionarios sao maravilhosos. Super atenciosos e compreensivos. O restaurante deles também é maravilhoso. Comida feita no capricho com apresentação impecável. O lado externo do hotel é sensacional, piscina, jardim e quadra convidam ao descanso.

Palace Sao Silvestre is an easy 10min drive from the heart of Coimbra and it was an oasis to return to. This hotel is a very relaxing place to stay. Beautiful pool to cool down in or relax next to, picnic next to a vineyard, breakfast in the dining room or out on the patio and bar/dining on site; food & service were great. Loved that it is surrounded by lovely grounds available for use to guests.

We liked the fact we were away from the city. the property was spacious with very nice pool. Even had a tennis court and padel court which was a nice surprise. They should advertise about them.

Nice spacious rooms. Had lots of facilities like swimming pool etc, but were not explained at the time of check-in. Clean and breakfast was good with good selection. Missing - tea/coffee percolator in the rooms. The earliest you could have a beverage was when the restaurant opened - 10 am. Restaurant for other meals - tried dinner once and decided to avoid and rather go to a couple of smallish restaurants in the vicinity. Check out - had a poor experience. Came to the front desk (5:30 am) and told the reception person (Ricky) that I would come in 10 minutes and wanted him to have my bills ready. Came and no one was at the reception! Had to wait and ring the desk bell repeatedly for over 15 minutes (time was of the essence since had a flight from Lisbon). So in short bad checkout experience.

Nice hotel, rooms are a bit outdated but clean. Room with good terrace with poolside view. Pool is big and very nice and clean. The area is very quiet and no restaurants in the village itself. The hotel reataurant offers good food.

This was the second time that we stayed at Palacio São Silvestre. We really enjoy it here. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the food is good and allergy friendly and the staff is friendly. And it's a perfect location for some peace and quiet, while being close to the city of Coimbra. There are a few small things that could use some attention, like the water in the shower turning from cold to hot, then to cold and hot again, or things not hanging straight. But these are no reasons to stay away from this hotel. We will come back when we want to visit Coimbra and the centre of Portugal again.

Hotel com decoração interessante e um restaurante excelente, ótima comida e um serviço impecável. Apenas uma nota para a ementa, que devia ser revista no Português. Foi pena que a cama fosse muito desconfortável, dura como uma tábua. Desafio a gerência a dormir uma noite no 134.... A organização da limpeza também não me pareceu bem feita... De manhã, ainda havia tabuleiros, do jantar nos quartos, no corredor, e estavam a limpar o chão na hora do pequeno almoço, fazendo com que tivéssemos que caminhar no chão molhado e contornar a funcionária. Claramente, uma falha na ordem dos trabalhos. Pessoalmente, julgo que não devia ser um "Boutique Hotel". Ganhavam mais se não se distraissem com detalhes cosméticos.

The hotel is old and the room smelled terrible due to thw carpet. We had trouble sleeping becauae the small was intense. The staff were attentive and nice, but we can't recommend this hotel unless it has an upgrade.

Chambre spacieuse avec grande salle de bain, propreté de l’hôtel rénové avec beaucoup de charme et beau jardin Bon petit déjeuner copieux varié et savoureux Nous avons par contre été déçu par le spa dépassé qui semble oublié dans la rénovation, pas de serviettes ni peignoir à disposition … Nous avons mal dormi avec la literie très très ferme

Foto’s van het hotel zijn misleidend. Premium suite kijkt uit op het dak en je hoort de hele nacht een vervelend geluid van buiten. Het bijbehorende restaurant is echt slecht te noemen. Medewerkers spreken er bijna geen woord Engels en het eten is niet best. Ontbijt is redelijk. Alleen één dame bij de receptie was onwijs vriendelijk.

We did not find anything unique about the property. The privacy of the room was very poor, it was a ground floor and only a glazed window in the bathroom where everyone could walk past ( and did) the same could be said for the bedroom but did have curtains.

Grande chambre très agréable (bémol pour la clim extérieur assez bruyante), lit confortable, jolie salle de bain avec produits. Calme la nuit (octobre) Personnel accueil et restauration agréable et souriant. Restaurant le soir de bonne qualité mais quantité un peu faible. Petit déjeuner très bien, sucré/salé. Foto’s van het hotel zijn misleidend. Premium suite kijkt uit op het dak en je hoort de hele nacht een vervelend geluid van buiten. Het bijbehorende restaurant is echt slecht te noemen. Nice spacious rooms. Had lots of facilities like swimming pool etc, but were not explained at the time of check-in. Clean and breakfast was good with good selection. Missing - tea/coffee percolator in the rooms. The earliest you could have a beverage was when the restaurant opened - 10 am. Restaurant for other meals - tried dinner once and decided to avoid and rather go to a couple of smallish restaurants in the vicinity. Check out - had a poor experience. Came to the front desk (5:30 am) and told the reception person (Ricky) that I would come in 10 minutes and wanted him to have my bills ready. Came and no one was at the reception! Had to wait and ring the desk bell repeatedly for over 15 minutes (time was of the essence since had a flight from Lisbon). So in short bad checkout experience.

Palace Sao Silvestre is an easy 10min drive from the heart of Coimbra and it was an oasis to return to. This hotel is a very relaxing place to stay. Beautiful pool to cool down in or relax next to, picnic next to a vineyard, breakfast in the dining room or out on the patio and bar/dining on site; food & service were great. Loved that it is surrounded by lovely grounds available for use to guests.

Na recepção a equipe foi receptiva! Banheiro deveria ser acessível, sem a banheira, pelo risco de queda e poderia ser um chuveiro e não uma ducha como chuveiro! Cama desconfortável (penso que já está na época de ser trocado o colchão). Solicitam para ser avisado o horário do jantar para não ter uma procura grande no mesmo horário mas não é respeitado! Cheguei às 20:30 e só consegui solicitar o pedido às 22:00 horas! Deveriam ser contratados mais profissionais para atender e penso que a cozinha também precisa ser mais ágil! Achei o prato que solicitei muito pequeno pelo valor. Café da manhã com poucas opções e o mamão estava estragado.

Um capítulo a parte este Hotel. Que conforto e lugar encantador. Fora da cidade grande, um refugio! Os funcionarios sao maravilhosos. Super atenciosos e compreensivos. O restaurante deles também é maravilhoso. Comida feita no capricho com apresentação impecável. O lado externo do hotel é sensacional, piscina, jardim e quadra convidam ao descanso.

The hotel presents well, and the pool looked lovely. Despite being a bit older, the hotel room was clean, and comfortable for our single night stay. The rooms could use a bit of an update - largely when it comes to carpeting and the wardrobe. The primary issue we had was the variability of the water temperature, where we couldn't get 2 minutes in the shower without experiencing the full spectrum of the water temperature - freezing to scalding.
