My wife and I spent a few days here in August while visiting friends and family. The hotel has been completely remodeled in the past year or so and was done up very nicely and is in a quiet area just off the main street where we felt very safe. We had a good size room that was clean and modern and nicely furnished. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The bar and restaurant have a surprisingly large menu of largely comfort but tasty food, and it was nice to be able to enjoy the fresh air eating on the back patio. if you are looking for a clean, comfortable room for a reasonable price while visiting the Scone/Perth area I would definitely recommend the Scone Arms and would not hesitate to stay there next time we visit. There is no 24 hour staff on duty so don’t leave it too late to check-in but the staff can likely accommodate you until bar closing time.

We arrived at property, there was only on street parking as only 4 spaces at rear and no disabled parking for my wife. Went into bar and were asked to follow a staff member to reception, where the reception which looked like an extendend cleaning cupboard. Rooms nice clean. Went for dinner to be told most items on the menu had been sold out. What food we ordered was very nice. Preordered breakfast for 9am next morning, went down, to be told help our selfs to continental. While orange juice was being put out. There was no hot water for tea, no bread for toast had to ask, good choice of cereal. The preordered cooked breakfast came out at 9.35 my wife and i only 2 for breakfast, to be told ran out of bacon so my wife had one slice of bacon and i got an extra link sausage. Breakfast cooked nice and pot of hot water delivered to table and some bread I put out for toast.ts a shame the food was cooked nice but could not fifillfull menu's for dinner or breakfast.

What a fabulous hotel, the staff went above above beyond to help us have the best stay they booked us taxi, booked us dinner and just could not do enough to help make our stay amazing!! The food was amazing, the entertainment was brilliant, the staff was amazing and we Will definitely be back

Great place to stay. The hotel has a carpark but you can also park on the street. Lovely, comfortable rooms. We thought it had just been renovated but found out that it was updated 4 years ago, yet still maintains that 'newness'. Bed was very comfortable and even though there was a band playing in the bar, we couldn't hear anything. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the customers in the bar were also friendly and the breakfast was great. Will definately stay there again

Easy to find, parking on site. Staff very friendly, Sarah and her colleagues made us very welcome. Checking in was a breeze. Food was excellent and good selection. Room was spotless and very welcoming.

Lovely little village hotel with comfortable rooms and friendly staff. My twin room was spotlessly clean with a well stocked tea tray with range of teas/coffee/biscuits etc. and premium bottled waters. Large shower room and ample towels, toiletries and bath robes. Only complaint is kitchen closes early at 6.45pm and no other options to eat out close by and rooms to front can be noisy being on a main road. Overall, would stay again, ideal for racecourse and Palace.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and they even made us a lovely vegan English breakfast, which we really appreciated. We didn’t have time to explore Perth on this visit, but we’d happily stay at this hotel again when we return in the future.

This property was nice, however there was a wedding on one of our nights any it was quite loud. The room appliances needed to be exchanged as they did not work. The staff was amazing and very helpful.

2nd time I have stayed here and I was not disappointed again. Staff are very friendly and helpful and quickly addressed a couple of minor issues with thermostat and the safe I had found after checkin. Rooms are modern, clean and decent size, bed was comfortable. Nice cooked breakfast available to order and a comfy lounge bar to wind down in before bed. It is a good base for sightseeing around the area but not really what I would call walking distance if you plan on spending a lot of time in Perth city center. Close to Scone Palace. I was visiting relatives so perfect location for my own needs.

The only issues were a very poor nights sleep due to extremely uncomfortable bed which had no support and noisy fan. Everything else was good.

It was lovely and clean. plenty of space. ENORMOUS bed. Meals were excellent and only slight area of concern is that a fan would have been nice as it was so hot.

Nice clean modern room. Had a fridge and water provided as well as usual tea/coffee making facilities. Nice shower powerful enough to get you wet where it matters. Only down side is 2 single beds pushed together to make a kingsize which is ok till you roll over onto the join. Meals in the Pub/Bar were good to but didn't try breakfast as started early at work.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast options catered for everyone. Our room was spotlessly clean and rooms were made up every day. We will definitely stay here again if in the area. We were there for the Perth races. The hotel also arranged for a local taxi driver to take us there and pick us back up. Very reasonable price.

I liked the quiet, and peacefulmess and was able to get work done. The only thing i didnt like was there are not clear instructions about getting to reception/checking in. I did not enjoy going in the bar to ask to be checked in, especially carrying my baggage.

Great staff. Manager is so helpful. Nice clean decent size room. Breakfast is only included if you book direct with the hotel. Breakfast was lovely, ordered full cooked breakfast - sausage was superb.

Great stay in general but bit weird being placed in what was a disabled room. Missed meal by 5 Mins and service was not on past 8pm for food. Breakfast was good but odd, no one about to welcome you to breakfast so just had as paid night prior. Generally very nice but missing some customer interaction and warm touches

We chose Scone Arms hotel as we were visiting family in the village and Perth, after a mixup with the booking on arrival, the manager and staff were all so helpfull and accomodating, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainty be back, loved our wee break.

It was convenient for visiting Perth (not being in the City was great) and Scone Palace was really close. We loved the home feel of eating in and the staff were so accommodating, as it was a super hot weather time. Thanks goes to all the staff:-) We would definitely stay again if in the area.

My wife and I spent a few days here in August while visiting friends and family. The hotel has been completely remodeled in the past year or so and was done up very nicely and is in a quiet area just off the main street where we felt very safe. We had a good size room that was clean and modern and nicely furnished. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The bar and restaurant have a surprisingly large menu of largely comfort but tasty food, and it was nice to be able to enjoy the fresh air eating on the back patio. if you are looking for a clean, comfortable room for a reasonable price while visiting the Scone/Perth area I would definitely recommend the Scone Arms and would not hesitate to stay there next time we visit. There is no 24 hour staff on duty so don’t leave it too late to check-in but the staff can likely accommodate you until bar closing time.

My twin room was spotlessly clean with a well stocked tea tray with range of teas/coffee/biscuits etc. and premium bottled waters. Large shower room and ample towels, toiletries and bath robes. Only complaint is kitchen closes early at 6.45pm and no other options to eat out close by and rooms to front can be noisy being on a main road. Overall, would stay again, ideal for racecourse and Palace.

2nd time I have stayed here and I was not disappointed again. Staff are very friendly and helpful and quickly addressed a couple of minor issues with thermostat and the safe I had found after checkin. Rooms are modern, clean and decent size, bed was comfortable. Nice cooked breakfast available to order and a comfy lounge bar to wind down in before bed. It is a good base for sightseeing around the area but not really what I would call walking distance if you plan on spending a lot of time in Perth city center. Close to Scone Palace. I was visiting relatives so perfect location for my own needs.

Great place to stay. The hotel has a carpark but you can also park on the street. Lovely, comfortable rooms. We thought it had just been renovated but found out that it was updated 4 years ago, yet still maintains that 'newness'. Bed was very comfortable and even though there was a band playing in the bar, we couldn't hear anything. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the customers in the bar were also friendly and the breakfast was great. Will definately stay there again

Easy to find, parking on site. Staff very friendly, Sarah and her colleagues made us very welcome. Checking in was a breeze. Food was excellent and good selection. Room was spotless and very welcoming.

Stayed for 1 night when going to Perth Races. The accommodation and facilities were very good. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

From our arrival to our departure we couldn't fault a thing. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, cheerful and helpful. The relaxed atmosphere made us want to stay longer! The food was excellent in both the bar and the restaurant. Scone Arms was an object lesson on how to run a hotel!

My room was lovely -no outlook. Bed was comfortable and room was warm. Breakfast was self service but very little choice. Just white bread no pastries /cold meats/cheese. No choice of milks or yogurts. Only had 1 breakfast and 1 evening meal. Sraff were very polite and attentive.

Room was lovely, very clean, comfy beds and great shower. Lovely touch to have bottles of water, nice biscuits and toiletries. Review would have been 5 stars if based on rooms. All good so far until we went down for dinner. Haggis fritters were 2 slice of haggis steeped in greasy batter, the peppercorn sauce was a watery gravy (£7 each). Next I had a burger, bun was burnt as was burger and couldn’t cut the burger it was so dehydrated, nothing on the plate looked homemade. Staff were very apologetic and said there was a prob with the chef and they had to bring someone from somewhere else!!? As I hadnt reordered a main, I decided to have the cheesecake. I had seen photos on the site and it looked lovely, unfortunately it was a small slither of defrosted cheesecake (£7!). Breakfast didn’t improve, you book a time when you check in and pay the £19.95. In the morning there was no staff in the restaurant, you made your own tea / coffee from sachets and water from a large flask. The water was cold and e eventually I got the chef when he was delivering a cooked breakfast and he topped it up with a kettle! You helped yourself to cereal from large packets and a four pint carton of milk. There was no fruit or pastries as advertised. We had breakfast at 9. The tables of guests who had breakfast before us were still uncleared. There was a loaf next to the toaster to make your own toast! The only person we seen was the chef when he delivered cooked breakfast. Big let down.

Hotel set up the room incorrectly for 1 person. Only 1 bath sheet provided. Booked a meal 3weeks in advance only to find on the day there was no steak, chicken, pizza or mushrooms. Booked breakfast only to find no breakfast tea available, sachets of Nescafé coffee no filter, no bread for toast, no pastries, had to hunt for butter as no staff service. 2 items missing from the poor quality breakfast. Our experience means we will not go back.

Great stay in general but bit weird being placed in what was a disabled room. Missed meal by 5 Mins and service was not on past 8pm for food. Breakfast was good but odd, no one about to welcome you to breakfast so just had as paid night prior. Generally very nice but missing some customer interaction and warm touches

Really nice property, with well maintained rooms. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We found the food to be delicious, large portions. You won't go hungry! Would definitely stay again!

This was the one of the most fun places we’ve stayed in YEARS. Comfy beds, clean bathrooms, professional staff and a pub downstairs! We had such a wonderful time. The food is great and if you want to tour the area there is a bus stop just down the street. And Fiona is the best host. She makes sure everyone is having a great time. Highly recommend!

Very well looked after hotel, bar great, room very nice..outdoor seating was great, someone spent good money on this hotel.. menu for dinner was really good, not just pub food..5 minutes on bus to Perth..
