Homewood Suites By Hilton Madison Huntsville

Both myself and my wife enjoyed our staff, and when we come back to see our son again we will more than likely stay here again, no negatives, all positives about our stay.

Breakfast was hopeless as have limited options

This hotel has so much potential. It is very new in a super nice area. Staff was absolutely super helpful. Very clean and super spacious studio rooms with nice walk in shower. Unfortunately if this hotel had better attention to maintenance then the front desk team would not have to work so hard. First room upon check in had clogged toilet and water in bathroom floor. No maintenance available so we had to move numerous floors down after traveling all day. Second room on final day the electronic door swipe stopped working completely so the helpful front desk person literally had to use tools and wire to break into our room. This is absolutely unacceptable. I felt so bad for the gentleman helping us. He was super kind. Back door near elevators and pool supposed to be locked at all times for safety with swipe only but door has shifted and would not close making it completely unsafe to allow anyone in the building. No towels at pool or gym. Had to walk all the way to front desk to ask for them. Also their computer system was down when we arrived so had to fill out long form of information. Breakfast was decent. Also if you choose this hotel and you have issues walking make sure to request a room near elevators as elevators are super far from most rooms. If maintenance issues were corrected and kept up then I think this would be a superb hotel but definitely not a pleasant experience for us.

Rooms were nice and clean. Walls were incredibly thin, especially with an adjoining room door. Our neighboring couple put on quite a loud show for our teenage boys around midnight, we could hear everything. Beyond that, you could hear normal volume voices and television. Also, breakfast ran out at 9am (served till 10) and they had no cereal, no toast and no warm food. When asked, the staff said they ran out of food and wouldn’t be putting anymore out.
