Traditional country pub located very close to Blickling Hall (NT). Parking was plentiful and easy. We were welcomed and efficiently dealt with. Our room (No.1) was a bit tired looking but reasonably equipped, tidy and quite clean, although the carpet looked a bit dirty. The heating system seemed a bit hit and miss, it was working when we arrived but we could not get it to work on the second day. There was however a 'backup' portable heater. Breakfasts were good but not exceptional except for the size which were excessively large. We also had evening meals which were quite good in terms of quality but again the portion sizes were excessive. The B&B price was reasonable and the food good value. We would be happy to return.

Oldie woldie pub with excellent food. Can get busy downstairs at weekends. Amazing meals, make sure you book. Superb breakfasts.

Easy plenty of parking always a must for me. ALL the staff were great. Very friendly even the younger ones which nowadays isny always the case. Really enjoyed it and the view from our room of Blickling Hall was superb. Food in evening meal great but we felt portions too big :) and breakfast was excellent again big portions :)

the staff were friendly and helpful.Food was excellent especially the Giant breakfast!Loved the building and location and right next to Blickling Hall.Fantastic room no3 overlooking the hall.Great outdoor space and beer garden,Not so good if the weather is bad as there;s only a small but cozy snug to have a pre or post dinner drink.Overall a fantastic place to stay ,would definitley go again.

Beautiful setting and excellent old worlde charm. An old property that had all the mod cons necessary without spoiling the ambience. Food and choices were very good. Breakfast included. Hope to stay again.

We have stayed at the Bucks several times and will return . Beautiful location overlooking Blickling Estate, with lakeside walks on the doorstep .Amazing friendly , helpful staff who go over and above . Food delicious but beware of large portions ! Comfortable, clean rooms.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Good range of beers. Location for Blickling hall great, location in the area also good. Breakfast choice limited but food was brilliant . Only real downside was bedroom furniture was dated but this did not detract from the overall stay.

Great location for visiting Blicking Hall - literally in the grounds! The food is amazing - superb quality and good sized portions too, plus not expensive either! The staff are all lovely too - from arrival to dinner and departure. The room we had (#1) was very large with a 4 poster - the sink is in the bedroom, with a separate toilet/shower room - that is quite small and the light wasn't the best, but it didn't spoil our stay, to the point that we forgot to mention the lamp may need to be replaced.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Buckinghamshire Arms, comfortable relaxing and excellent food the one thing that could have been better was the bathroom I spoke to our host who said the matter was in hand.

As soon as we arrived our first thought was very welcoming and friendly.Daphne was the lady who booked us in and showed us to our room,cannot compliment her enough she is true asset.We saw her today at breakfast and again very attentive,very friendly and hospitable,Daphne really made our excellent stay that much better.The food was excellent could not fault a thing,portion size brilliant,top marks to the chef/kitchen staff.The view from the room was brilliant,comfy bed,everything was clean tidy.Yes there were a few cobwebs around windows but to be fare it didnt bother us its an old building,also a sink in the bathroom would have been nice but realise a limited amount of space.Would we come again.....definitely,we will either return in the summer bur for certain this time of year.Cannot praise our time at the Bucks enough.Well done to everyone, wishing you all a very Merry Christmas.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. The staff were all incredibly helpful and polite. The room itself was clean and tidy on arrival. Bed was very comfortable the en-suite was clean and perfectly functional. The pub serves food, we ate on the first night but if we are being honest the menu was not to our taste. We did have breakfast every morning and this was excellent and the staff were happy to mix and match items on the menu to accommodate us. We had a really lovely time here and would certainly stay there again. We cannot praise the staff enough.

Bedroom 4 far below the size and quality of the other rooms at only some £10 less. Room rather small and en-suite well below standard expected. Door mechanism failed leaving stuck in room. Washbasin took an age to clear. Very poor indeed. Fortunately it was only a one night stay. Breakfast acceptable and staff friendly. Will not be recommending this establishment

This is a lovely old property. All staff were super friendly and helpful. The food is amazing and the portions are huge. Our room only had a bath not a shower, but room and bathroom were large, spotlessly clean and very comfortable.

Wonderful place to stay! Lovely welcoming friendly and efficient staff. Amazing food, huge portions, both breakfast and dinner! Lovely big room with gorgeous views of Blickling Hall and wonderful walks from the doorstep, thoroughly enjoyed by our dog! Would definitely return!

Wonderful property, staff amazing. Only "gripes" are - four poster bed is a *little* small, it's the equivalent of a small double bed. Also, the shower doesn't have much power. It's an older, historical property, so do factor that into a stay. As highlighted above though, the staff were brilliant, and the (included) breakfast was sublime. We will be back! 👍

This historic structure retrofitted to modern conveniences was a delight! The food and staff were outstanding. Tom was especially accommodating for all our needs and so friendly and professional. If you appreciate history and charm, this is the place to stay!

As soon as we arrived our first thought was very welcoming and friendly.Daphne was the lady who booked us in and showed us to our room,cannot compliment her enough she is true asset.We saw her today at breakfast and again very attentive,very friendly and hospitable,Daphne really made our excellent stay that much better.The food was excellent could not fault a thing,portion size brilliant,top marks to the chef/kitchen staff.The view from the room was brilliant,comfy bed,everything was clean tidy.Yes there were a few cobwebs around windows but to be fare it didnt bother us its an old building,also a sink in the bathroom would have been nice but realise a limited amount of space.Would we come again.....definitely,we will either return in the summer bur for certain this time of year.Cannot praise our time at the Bucks enough.Well done to everyone, wishing you all a very Merry Christmas.

from the moment we arrived the staff were brilliant, went out for the day and come back to hotel for dinner, again excellent food and service. breakfast was huge and delicious did not feel rushed to check out or pay,would certainly visit again.

We have stayed at the Bucks several times and will return . Beautiful location overlooking Blickling Estate, with lakeside walks on the doorstep .Amazing friendly , helpful staff who go over and above . Food delicious but beware of large portions ! Comfortable, clean rooms.

This is the second time we have stayed. The sta were very friendly and helpful. The room was great and very quiet. The breakfast is the best of any I tried…you won’t need any lunch. I would definitely recommend it.

Traditional country pub located very close to Blickling Hall (NT). Parking was plentiful and easy. We were welcomed and efficiently dealt with. Our room (No.1) was a bit tired looking but reasonably equipped, tidy and quite clean, although the carpet looked a bit dirty. The heating system seemed a bit hit and miss, it was working when we arrived but we could not get it to work on the second day. There was however a 'backup' portable heater. Breakfasts were good but not exceptional except for the size which were excessively large. We also had evening meals which were quite good in terms of quality but again the portion sizes were excessive. The B&B price was reasonable and the food good value. We would be happy to return.

Near blickling hall. Good food. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Nice walks. We made use of a NT Explorer 4 day pass. Lots to do around blickling hall. Free parking.

Just returned from an excellent stay. Was located convenient for Blickling Hall and other lovely villages worth visiting. Staff were very friendly and food was superb.

Treated my daughter and son-in-law to an overnight stay in room 3. They loved the view of Blickling Hall and especially the wonderful full breakfast the next morning. Thanks for making their stay amazing.

Check in was a bit confusing as the staff were very busy serving food. I was shown a lovely room, which was a bit chilly. I was told the heating had been playing up but had two oil filled radiators provided which kept the room warm. Shower pressure was quite low, but nice and hot. Biscuits provided with tea and coffee station, which is a thumbs up. Dinner in the pub was exceptional. Menu is varied and fantastic. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Slept well chef started half an hour early for me to eat breakfast. Very impressed, great quality breakfast too. Will definitely come back when working in the area.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. The staff were all incredibly helpful and polite. The room itself was clean and tidy on arrival. Bed was very comfortable the en-suite was clean and perfectly functional. The pub serves food, we ate on the first night but if we are being honest the menu was not to our taste. We did have breakfast every morning and this was excellent and the staff were happy to mix and match items on the menu to accommodate us. We had a really lovely time here and would certainly stay there again. We cannot praise the staff enough.

Wonderful property, staff amazing. Only "gripes" are - four poster bed is a *little* small, it's the equivalent of a small double bed. Also, the shower doesn't have much power. It's an older, historical property, so do factor that into a stay. As highlighted above though, the staff were brilliant, and the (included) breakfast was sublime. We will be back! 👍

the staff were friendly and helpful.Food was excellent especially the Giant breakfast!Loved the building and location and right next to Blickling Hall.Fantastic room no3 overlooking the hall.Great outdoor space and beer garden,Not so good if the weather is bad as there;s only a small but cozy snug to have a pre or post dinner drink.Overall a fantastic place to stay ,would definitley go again.

Convenient overnight as hiking The Weavers' Way. Some quirks with the room, could not get towel rail to turn on and staff were unable to help. The food here is amazing, huge portions. Breakfast very good too.

The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious and the four poster bed was lovely. Nice view of Blickling Hall which is a few minutes walk away. Good selection for breakfast and was delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative I have is the bar closed at 10.00 and we were hoping to have a drink when we got back at 10.30 but not a problem.

Lovely stay made better with the kind , helpful and friendly staff. Especially Bryony who served us in the evening and breakfast the next day. Also the lady who ran the breakfast on the Friday and our lovely waitress on Thursday night. Your staff make this place so welcoming. Food was amazing both breakfast and evening meal. Only negative was our room needed an update, it is a lovely traditional room but had no shower screen, or proper shower, towels were thread bear and very little. Bed was a lovely four poster, but too small. Chairs by tv were uncomfortable and no plug socket near a mirror. Just minor things. Fan in the room was a big plus as the weather was incredibly hot. Hotel is in beautiful surroundings and literally a few steps to Blickling Hall.

We were a drowned couple of cyclists, they let up park our bikes under cover and in the room we're a couple of oil radiators, and by the morning we had dry shoes, ready for our next day of cycling.
