La Quinta by Wyndham San Antonio Alamo City

This hotel gave me a great night of sleep. The bed was comfy and the room very quiet. A/C worked well and kept the room at a nice cool temperature. Now a few negative comments. The shower was DANGEROUS - very, very slippery w no rubber mat offered to use to keep from falling! I put a bath towel on the floor of the shower and that made a HUGE difference. The water was hot and the water stream good. Breakfast was good. Many options to choose from. The coffee was very good! Another negative comment - this hotel uses styrofoam products, such as plates and cups instead of paper which can be recycled. My stay was a good one but note: there is massive construction on the freeway right next to the hotel making traffic more ridiculous than usual. Beware.

Fitness center closed. Delayed response from staff. No staff present at breakfast.

Towels and bed clothing were worn and tanned. Needs actualization. Breakfast was good.

Towels were a little musty
