Simple Life Motel

When we got there the room they gave us still had the dirty dishes, all the sheets were gone, and floor was sticky and nothing was cleaned from the last guest. We then had to wait until almost 7pm for them to put us in another room. This one was cleaned but at night we found out the heat didn't work. To top off this trip I paid in full for this room in advance, told the check-in clerk I did and he charged me a second time for the room. Not they not only won't answer their phone but I believe they blocked my phone number. This is the worst OC hotel I have ever stayed at and I've been coming here every year for the last 10.

Room was clean, bathroom looked unkept. There was glue in the sink to repair a large crack. The shower looked yellow tinted. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful about the property. The toilet was clogged as soon as we got there. Every time it needed to be used, it would clog/overflow. There was a new plunger (tag still on it) that we used and it didn’t seem to do anything. The water would just eventual go down on its own after a while. The sliding door for the balcony was hard to open.

My husband had to slam his shoulder into open our door to our room. The manager came over and had to do the same and said he knew about it. The microwave had rust in it. The blinds to the bathroom were broken and people walking outside could s the us in the bathroom. Said offered hair dryer and there was none. Rust in the bathroom and mold in the shower. Very noisy. Beds were very comfortable.

The last at front desk even showed where my son could park his car on property my stairs cuz they only provide 1 car pass. Very friendly and efficient! For just being a weekend stay!

It was clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. The bath/shower was very old and there was no shower curtain.
